I received a faux goddess loc service from Tarah. She did a good job with the installation but has…read moreno regard for time. I waited over 2hrs for my appointment to start. After sitting in the chair for maybe 30 minutes she asked would I mind if she flat ironed her niece's hair because she had to go to her Junior Prom. I politely got up and allowed her to handle her family business. My session was again paused because she had to take pictures of her niece and niece's friends before they left. The service itself was quick but with the delayed start and many pauses it was a tedious process to say the least. Maintenance for my goddess locs were recommended for 6-8 weeks. I scheduled my appointment and texted her scheduler to alert her that I was running about few minutes late. When I arrived to my appointment Tarah was not there. I waited a few minutes and called the scheduler who informed me I had been rescheduled to 4:00. When leaving the salon I saw Tarah and asked did she still want me to come back or would she be able to service me. She said that I would need to come back. I arrived to my 4:00 appointment at 3:53 and someone was in the chair. I left to drop off my kids after asking if she minded. When I returned she was still working on the same person but told me the mall would be closing soon so I would have to be rescheduled. I was rescheduled for today and arrived to my 2:00 appointment at 2:13 and she had someone in the chair and said I would have to be rescheduled. At this point, I opted to no longer receive the service from Tarah. She is very unprofessional and has no respect for other people's time. I requested my deposit be returned but only time will tell if my request will be granted. I do not recommend Hair Goals or Tara (loc God) for any services. Save your time and sanity and go to a more reputable, professional salon.
