Our first meeting was about 2 hours long. Through casual and fun conversation she was able to get to know us and get a feel for what we wanted. I really wanted a non-religious, fun and sweet ceremony. I didn't want any of these boring, solemn ceremonies that I am used to seeing at weddings. After our first meeting, Dee provided us some readings and verbiage for us to use to create our own wedding vows. She provided assistance in helping us create our own vows and made the process really easy. Which was great because we were really worried about that part. Upon our second meeting, Dee had typed out the ceremony for us to go over. It was perfect! She included even the smallest details from our first meeting and she really listened to what we wanted. The day of, Dee was incredible. She got there early, she was helpful in making sure things were set up properly and making sure everything was going smoothly. I cannot tell you how many compliments I got on her ceremony. People were so impressed. I was and keep being told that it was one of the best ceremonies they had ever heard. It was personal, fun, touching, and with laughter hidden in there. Dee made Sean and I feel so comfortable, not an easy feat for two shy people. I cannot say enough good things about her. After the ceremony, she hung around for a bit, chatted with our guests until we were ready to sign the documents. Besides her artistry , she went above and beyond in her personal service to deliver the bouquet to our hotel for getting ready photos and then took our place settings and the cake along with the stunning floral garland she created AND proceeded set it all up at our venue. The setting was the ideal blend of rustic charm and elegant country chic. Our ceremony took place under the trees, nestled between the fields and vineyards--a truly magical backdrop. One of their cows even joined in to "approve" our vows, which made the moment unforgettable and so uniquely Postlewaitt's. Cocktail hour near the ceremony site was serene and inviting, giving guests the perfect opportunity to mingle and enjoy the scenery. The reception in the barn was just as wonderful--the roll-up doors created an easy flow between indoors and outdoors, exactly the atmosphere we envisioned. The farm tables and antique mismatched plates available through the venue were absolutely perfect, adding so much character and completing the warm, inviting atmosphere we were looking for. Our guests continue to compliment the venue and its idyllic setting. The view of Mt. Hood in the background left a lasting impression and made the day feel even more special. Jacqueline was a joy to work with--knowledgeable, responsive, and always ready with great suggestions. I cannot say enough great things about this venue. I had a chaotic last min cancellation with my…read morewedding venue, and was panicking. I found them and they were the most kind, accommodating, and wonderful people and they got me my day booked no problem. I didn't see the space till the day of because I live out of state, and I was sort of nervous, but WOW did it exceed any expectations I had. It's perfect for small intimate weddings, and I would imagine would be excellent for everything from family reunions to large baby showers! The industrial kitchen is great, spacious and I adored that it has a large window into the space with a ledge you can put food on or use to pass out dishes to the generously sized buffet table they provide. The fireplace inside was also one of my favorite features. We were married in front of it and the space came with couches and chairs (very nice ones) that were situated around it as a seating area so we used them for our immediate family's seats during the ceremony and it felt really cozy and turned out nice in photographs. The mantle is also huge! I'll post a photo for reference but it's over 6' tall and very wide. The whole space has this great rustic feeling to it, and there are several beautiful mounts around of various animals from fish to pheasants and deer/ other deer like animals (I wasn't familiar with their species but they're absolutely beautiful.) The space also has a very nice pool table that was lots of fun for my guests! Outside the views are spectacular! If you are sitting at the fire pit in one direction it's rolling hills as far as you can see, and from another on a clear day there's a mountain. There's also a very cute apple orchard that backs up to the lodges property. The fire pit itself is huge and is paved really nicely all the way to the doors of the space so you don't have to walk on grass or anything to access it. The owners met me at the space in the morning to show me around, and that particular day they were doing some lawn maintenance so I got to meet the whole crew. It's a family owned space and they had their adult children helping out with getting the chairs and tables ready for us. I loved that so much, not just because they are all so sweet and genuinely happy to have you there, but because it feels so personal! In addition to this space we rented out a huge lodge right down the road that the family owns as well. I would highly, highly recommend asking them about It if you're lodging out of town family like I was. They can direct you to the listing on Airbnb which has great photos and reviews. They are both newer spaces to being rented out so they are still collecting reviews from people, but I can't sing the praises of both of the spaces enough. Please do yourself a favor and consider this place for your event. If I could give extra stars I would, thank you guys so much!! My guests were talking all night about how beautiful the whole place was and I'm still glowing with gratitude and joy from my entire experience renting from them.

I've attended 2 outdoor weddings there along with a Christmas event. Gorgeous. There's a huge lodge on site with views out every window. The lodge holds an industrial kitchen for catering. The hosts are famous (GoldRush) so that adds a bit of excitement. They were so hospitable and helpful. They even have some vintage vehicles the make available for pictures. At one wedding we attended, the groom arrived via airplane. It was quite an entrance. We will be holding our daughter's wedding there near the apple orchard. With the weather in Oregon, we'll be setting up tents. They are constantly making improvements so I'm excited to see what new things will be done.
