I'm extremely disappointed with Tools for a Time, which is not something I ever thought I'd say…read more They've been a solid resource for my lawn care business for years, and I've consistently given them my business. Over the past year, after upgrading several pieces of equipment, the experience has gone downhill fast. Staff have been inconsistent and often uninformed about warranties, have failed to honor or properly handle warranty claims, and turnaround times have been unacceptable. Equipment has come back late, not fixed correctly, or in worse condition than when it was dropped off. "Well, you can bring it back," is not acceptable when you rely on your equipment to make a living. I've only purchased Shindaiwa and Echo products through them, so maybe the manufacturers share some responsibility, but customer service and accountability still matter. I'm honestly shocked at how little regard has been shown to loyal, long-term customers. At this point, I can't recommend Tools for a Time to other professionals who depend on reliable equipment and timely service.

I was told I have no access to this account and the other person would be totally responsible. Now I'm dealing with a pulled credit for nothing because I cancelled as soon as I heard this. I will never do business with this place for their incompetence of recommending the dumbest financing setup I've ever seen in any business. DO NOT FINANCE WITH THEM...also they are pretty over priced

I was the only company that mainly did cleaning and maintenance. On air conditioners over 2 1/2 tons you need a pressure washer (electric only) to clean the coils inside and out. On walk-in coolers it is necessary to clean the coils , and lubricate the motors, as well as freezers and ice machines. Dirty units cost businesses thousands of dollars in repairs and electricity. The main tool I used all day long was an electric pressure washer because dirt and bacteria must be cleaned off of all units every six months to a year to have clean air and efficient units, since dirt ignored will cost one all of their profits. One major thing I learned the hard way was that it's mandatory to wear a good respirator with full face shield when chemicals are used and when one is using a pressure washer; otherwise, one will get a type of fungal pneumonia that is hard to cure, and can kill a person who does not inform his physician about the work he or she was doing that made them ill. Don't make that mistake: A good respirator only costs under $50.00, and is much cheaper than the hospital or the funeral home. Jacksonville has many very dangerous fungi and flesh-eating bacteria. Don't ignore safety when pressure washing! This company helped me all the time, and now, after moving to South Carolina, I will need their services again because stores like this are hard to find. These are first-class people to deal with, and they will keep you working.
