Most of the companies were nice to deal with while one was an absolute horror. The one thing that these other companies did not address that Joe with Jon's Seamless Gutters did was address the issue of how to direct the water after it came out of the downspout. This item was very important to me as the home was having a water intrusion problem and Joe, without any prompting from me went over this in his evaluation. The estimate that I received from Joe wasn't the highest nor was it the lowest but due to Joe's attention to detail it is what made me decide to go with Jon's Seamless Gutters. Recommended by a friend in 2011 when i noticed a leak in my ceiling in ensuite bathroom after a storm. JP came, took a look and said the boards were rotten and would need a new roof. We went through my insurance company, entire roof replaced along with the replacement of a section of gutter. Literally one month later a leak showed up in my bedroom after a storm. I called another roofer to look at the problem and he said oh your flashing is missing. I called JP back and told him, he was adamant it wasn't the flashing and he sent one of his guys out. His guy sealed it with some type of caulk. It held up until June 2023. Ceiling in my bedroom leaking in the exact same location. I called JP since he had made the initial repair. In addition to the roof asked if he could replace a couple of boards of siding. He came out took a look. I showed him the leak and reminded him that he did the initial repair. He acknowledged that it should not be leaking. So he took a look and told me the leak was being caused by my old soffitts and talked me into replacing my soffitts and installing new gutters, and replacing all my siding. Only replaced 2 sides of my home with new siding, soffits and gutters added. The quality of the work was terrible. My leak returned about a month later. They came back out and said again it was the soffitts. They had left a gaping opening between the soffitt and the house, nails were exposed, coming clear through the bottom of the soffitt. They "repaired" the soffits but the leak persists. The siding isn't flush against the house,the trim wasn't replaced on the siding, siding weather barrier exposed on the bottom, missing the lath strap completely, so i know water damage is imminent. Can't afford to redo now. Ivehad to pay someone else to patch the leak in my bedroom that I paid JP to fix. My bedroom ceiling and wall will need to be repaired from the water damage. Note that each time i reached out about an issue the attitude was terrible. I wasted $12,000 on a terrible work product and even worse customer service.
