During the quote I made it clear I needed 30-45 minutes' notice because I'd be commuting between apartments. They agreed, yet on cleaning day I got no heads‑up, just a text after they'd already arrived saying they "forgot to text." At the conclusion of the job, they waited until they were finished to tell me they were done. When I said I'd be there in 30-45minutes, they texted that I should have let them know and that they assumed we'd just wait in the car the whole time. This was never discussed and why would anyone wait in their car if they a new apartment to unpack? On arrival the cleaner didn't offer a walkthrough, point out any issues, or explain what was done. They just stood there at the kitchen island and when I said I'm going to look around, they replied in a dismissive tone, "Yeah, if you want to." Very awkward and unprofessional. At payment time she said she hadn't realized there was a stove or dishwasher, therefore we were going to be charged extra. This even though both were visible and mentioned during the walkthrough. I had also mentioned during the walk through that the stove was lightly used and the dishwasher was never used because of the musty smell. They added an extra charge, at a "discount", which they claimed is significantly reduced from what is normally charged. I've used multiple cleaning services for move out cleaning and I have never experienced this level of disorganization, unprofessionalism, and lack of communication.
