A few examples: He failed to mention, until the very end, that he would not re-install the metal railings on our stone steps and that we would have to hire someone else. He also did not build the bottom step to code. We brought it to his attention and asked if it would pass inspection and he said no. Then why would he build it if it's not to code?! The only real solution was to pay him to rebuild our brick walkway. His team did a very poor job with the walkway. They didn't use enough stone dust to fill cracks and did not put enough dirt on the edges so the bricks were starting to become loose. (Just a few days after!) I had to do additional work myself on the walkway in order for it to not fall apart in a few months.

I called on a Friday afternoon and they said it was no problem getting the material to my house on Monday. Then Monday was raining hard so they called to check if I wanted to push the delivery till Tuesday. I said that would be great if they could promise to make me one of the early slots on Tuesday, they kept their promise and showed up at 7:45am!
