This business has been consistently great - they have cleaned delicate silk things as well as heavy winter clothes. Highly recommend!

I'd give the Dry Cleaning Station five stars just bc my clothes don't smell like crap when I pick them up. You don't have to rip that plastic bag off, let the chemicals waft all over you and then cross your fingers you didn't just get cancer. Now, my clothes just smell clean. Until I started going to the Dry Cleaning Station, I didn't realize there was another option for dry cleaning. Now I am totally spoiled and won't go anywhere else. (The cashiers do seem to have a penchant for blue hair though. Multiple cashiers with blue hair. I don't know what that's about. It kind of contrasts with the Dynasty style chandelier in the lobby.) read more

If you own nice clothing and want to keep it looking nice, don't go here. Brought in like 8 Brooks Brothers dress shirts, 5 Lacoste polo shirts and dress. I always dry cleaned my shirts in California, these exact same shirts. They still looked like new, but when I came home and started to put them away, I was SOO upset. The dress shirts were NOT clean! The polo shirts looked old and faded. Some of the darker colored shirts were most noticeable. The dress and some shirts had oil stains. Very upsetting and it sucks because they're just around the corner :/ I wash my shirts at home now and I do a way better job than any cleaners. They couldn't look better. Environmentally friendly (with no chemical stench) is a huge plus! Convenience to Duke is also great. I took off one star because their website claims they do shoe repair, and they do not. I was excited because I had a pair of shoes that needed a minor fix, and thought it would be convenient to drop them off with my dry cleaning. However, when I brought in my shoes, the clerk told me they don't do shoe repair after all. She said they have a tailor who comes in to do clothing repair and alterations, but no one that does shoes. So, call and check if you want any of the listed services other than regular cleaning and alterations, because the website may not be accurate. ETA: A two-piece suit, regardless of whether it was a men's or women's (pants or skirt), was $9 to dry clean. Not bad at all. And they managed to get out all the white cat hair that was woven into the fibers of my black wool suit. And to reiterate, the clothes just smell clean. No chemical smell. Also, this week they sent me a $5 off coupon as a thank-you for trying them (good for 30 days). That was pretty awesome. read more

I am an active duty military officer and took a pair of my Army Service Uniform pants into Prestige Green Cleaners for dry cleaning. I had taken these pants into this establishment on at least 3-4 occasions and had no issues with their service. In November 2017, after receiving my uniform pants back from their servicing, the gold braided stripe was stained with bluish ink. I asked them to redo the cleaning to get the stain out, but the stain remained. I then asked for reimbursement for these $145 pants but the owner cited a national dry cleaning authority document that stated it was not his fault. I operate under the belief that if I pay you for a service and you destroy something in the process, the service should do something to compensate for the loss. Prestige Green Cleaners did no such recompense; I was repeatedly told that they did everything right in the cleaning process and it was the garment that was the problem and I should contact the manufacturer. As a member of the military for over 20 years, I have often taken items in for dry cleaning and have never had an issue like this. I even contacted the manufacturer who stated that this has never been reported by anyone purchasing their pants. By the owner's own admission, Prestige Green Cleaners states that this type of incident is common; if so, I would not recommend going to this establishment for dry cleaning. You may end up with damaged clothing and the owner telling you it wasn't his fault because he definitely did everything right. read more

I tried three different dry cleaners in Durham and Prestige was by far the best. My mother even noticed that my shirts looked great. The staff are friendly and learned my name fairly quickly. Never had any issue with any of my clothes in two years of visiting. read more

I just dropped my clothes off about an hour ago, and I don't even have to get my clothes back to know that I will NEVER go back again. Dry Cleaning Station is in a bit of a sketchy location, but I gave it the benefit of the doubt because it was fairly well rated on Yelp and I saw somewhere that it was once voted best in Durham. When I gave them my clothes (a suit, a few dress shirts, and a sweater), the person at the counter took them off the hangers, CRUMPLED all my clothes into a ball, shoved them into a bag, and tossed the bag into a cart. For a dry cleaner to take amy $600 Kenneth Cole suit and THROW it into (for all intents and purposes) a garbage bag is NOT ACCEPTABLE. I politely asked her to put the suit on a hanger until it is cleaned, but needless to say, I will not be returning. The next 48 hours are going to be torture because I have no idea how they're treating my suit. Moral of the story is: if you value your clothes, don't take them here. read more

This place must hate Kenneth Cole. Brought in my brand new freshly tailored wool Kenneth Cole peacoat for cleaning after my kid spilled milk on it. First they kept it for 5 days and gave it back not even cleaned. When I brought it back they kept it another few days and refused to honor the sign hanging in their store (done right or its free). I pick it up again and it is like these people put it in a washer and dryer. It was misshapen and not even clean after they were through destroying it. My coat was ruined. Don't go here!!! read more

-Damaged Shirts- I recently started going to this "business" for my laundry needs since it is closer to my home. Big mistake. I first noticed one shirt damaged by a stain, then two, then three - now it up to at least five shirts damaged from either stains and/or discoloration (fading) of the shirts. These polo dress shirts vary in age from several years old to less than a month old. I have taken my shirts to various locations through the years and I have "never" had such a bad experience. If you value your clothes and your time, stay far away from this place. read more

I'm new to the area so was unsure about where to go to take my clothes for dry cleaning and care. I took a chance on Prestige Green Cleaners and was very impressed. For the first time every my clothes came back clean, expertly pressed, AND did not smell like toxic chemicals. All the stain spots were addressed and my sweaters were folded over the hanger rather than hung on a hanger thus stretching them out. I'll definitely be going back as the prices were fair, but not what I would consider 'cheap', then again, you get what you pay for! read more

I went there for my first time today and the lady at front was very nice. She did not try to take my shirts and try to clean them and just get my money. She was honest with me and said it would be unlikely they were able to get ink out of the shirts because they were already set in and it would be costly to have them cleaned for nothing. So she referred me to their Tailor to have pockets changed out. Thank You for being kind and honest. Honesty goes a long way in my opinion and I will be using Prestige Green Cleaners for my future needs. read more

I was so hopeful. I was completely let down. I brought a silk tie here to have a stain removed; it came back torn. So, they offered to send it to their mender. This person is of such low quality that they used cotton thread to try to sew a silk tie. And didn't even do a good job at that! But, rather than do what the signs all over the store say they do - care about their customers - they said it was my word versus their employee's word that I caused the tear and they wouldn't pay for a replacement. I tried calling the corporate headquarters - while waiting, I listened to the recording telling me how customer service was their big thing - once I spoke to someone, they told me each store was independent and they wouldn't get involved. I wanted to like this spot because supposedly they use less harmful chemicals to clean the clothes. Unfortunately I cannot recommend because all of my sweaters have stains (new) and holes. Every one. What good is clean clothes with holes and stains? I'll take my chances with a regular cleaner who hopefully doesn't destroy my clothes. read more

Do not ever give this business leather to be cleaned. They send it away to be cleaned, which is a common practice. However they do not manage their relationship with the cleaning company which they choose. Instead they act as if they have no responsibility. They are not willing to contact the company to check why something has not been returned three weeks after it was meant to be due back. They really do not care at all about their customers. read more

They do a great job cleaning our clothes and they are absolutely wonderful people. Amazing costumer service! Also, they pick up and deliver! I had been bringing my clothes there periodically. At first I was very pleased, the customer service was outstanding and my clothes were cleaned and smelled great! Also, the ladies were very friendly and seemed to care about my clothes. That was about 8 months ago. NOW, the lady (I've only seen one there now) has a HORRIBLE attitude. The first time I encountered her, she had a bad attitude, I figured maybe she was just having a bad day. However, the next time I went in, she had the same nasty attitude. She makes it seem like they are doing me a favor by cleaning my clothes and that cleaning them is an inconvenience. When I received my suit and dress shirt , they weren't cleaned and didn't smell fresh. I had to take them to another cleaners. Prestige Green will NEVER have to worry about "doing me a favor or being inconvenienced" by my business EVER AGAIN!!! BEWARE, BAD ATTITUDE ON PREMISES!!!!! read more
