This WAS my place to go I was always pleased. BUT these last months I've had to bring my cloths back they come back smelling Really bad. That sour smell of the cloths didn't dry so now it stinks real bad. They would redo it the first few times and it was a pain to keeping going back and forth even not being able to wear my outfit due to me coming home and having that awful smell. This last time I vowed to myself enough was enough not coming back having to pay 100 dollars and still having a redo I was dismissed saying there was no smell. I'm stuck with smelly cloths and I still paid. Check/smell your cloths before leaving. Super sad I will no longer be going back. Wow! I cannot believe they were able to remove spots from my silks blouse and make it look brand new. I actually got some black hair color spots on my favorite pink silk blouse and I was honestly going to throw it out. At the last minute I decided to give this establishment a try. I have been taking my clothes here for about a year. I love this place. The owner and the employees are always so very friendly. You can tell that they take pride in their work and enjoy what they do. I can't imagine working in a place with hot steam and dirty clothes to be fun, but they truly appear to enjoy their work and want to ensure you (the customer) are pleased. This is one of the best cleaning and tailoring services that I have experienced in my 30+ year career as a professional. I commute from out of state to work in this area and have been delighted with the quality and on time delivery of their cleaning services. For instance, on more than one occasion the staff was able to expedite my laundry and dry cleaning needs to fit my travel schedule. Their honesty and integrity has been incredible - for instance, a couple of times I have received an envelope back with my clothes containing cash that I had inadvertently left in a pocket. Their tailoring services are equally remarkable - on one occasion I mistakenly brought in an expensive dress shirt for laundering that I had intended to throw away because of a huge rip in a sleeve (thinking it was not repairable); the tailor on staff however repaired it with out a trace of the 2 direction rip. This is also to say that complicated tailoring and alterations of newly purchased shirts, slacks and suits have been a snap on a number of occasions (in my opinion, better than what what I have received from high end Department Stores). I have finally found my go to dry cleaners. Family run business in the same location for the last 28 years and they do everything in house. Early morning and late hours to accommodate a busy schedule. Friendly service. Drive-thru. Alterations. Prices on par with the area. ($40.85 with tax for 4 dresses). AND they got my stains out!!!!! I chatted up the lovely women checking me out and when she found out it was my first time she gave me a free lint roller. This is the service I have been looking for. Had a stain in my suit so I decided to go to this place to get it dry cleaned. One of my coworkers came here in the past so I decided to give it a shot. It's also pretty close to RTP so there is a convience factor as well. You'll hear one of those door bell sounds as soon as you walk in. I came in on Saturday morning when they opened and was greeted by a nice elderly lady. I simply dropped off my 2 piece suit and the lady handled me a receipt and told me to come back the following Tuesday after 5PM. Normally they return it on Monday but I think for mine they needed some extra time. I was in no rush so no biggie. Came back to pick up the suit. The price was around $10 which is pretty reasonable. I did inspect the area of the stain once I got home. I was glad to see most of it gone (98%). There was still a small spot but its hard to notice. They actually included a tag which basically said "We tried our best to clean the spot but we can't get it off without damaging the material". It was a nice gesture. I don't blame them for not getting everything off since I've had the stain for a while now and I should have immediately took it to a dry cleaner but instead it was hung in my closet for a long time so that was my fault. read more

I have to say this is one of the worst Dry Cleaners in the Durham area. Here are 3 reasons why: 1. Impolite customer service for those who come into the front entrance 2. Alteration "office hours" are not posted and are not consistent 3. Pretty expensive for dry cleaning overall. Upon my arrival there was no bell or indication to get someone's attention to the front. Maybe they just bank on the fact that most customers will go in the drive thru. I had to clear my throat a few times, and then finally an older lady attended to me. Her initial reaction? Blank stare at me for what seemed like 3 awkward minutes. No response, no hello, no hey welcome, no nothing. So then I end up saying hi and proceeded to lay out my dry cleaning, and she still had not said hello. Then after I'm done laying out the clothes on the table she asked rather bluntly, "phone number?" I told her it was my first time there. She said, "how did you hear about us?" I told her my friend had highly recommended them. Then after taking my info and preferences on starch she didn't say anything about when it would done by. She then threw my clothes in a bag, tossed the bag away, then printed out the slip, and was about to bounce right in front of me (bounce where...?) I then ask her if they do alterations and she said the alteration lady (who I presume is the owner) won't be in for 3 days. I understand vacation / family stuff, but I came in on a Tuesday. Anyways I asked, "so when will the alteration lady be in?" She then threw out some guesses (next Monday between 1 and 3, Tuesday between 10 and 2, etc.) So I decided I'll just catch her when I pick my dry cleaning. After leaving she didn't say thank you or we appreciate it or whatever pleasantries you would normally hear. Then I asked her when my dry cleaning would be done, and she said, "eh, you can come in Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday." Huh? And didn't I just ask you about the alteration lady? I came in that following Monday during the times the alteration lady was supposed to be there. No luck. My fault for not calling in, but I'm following what the front counter lady told me. In the end, 2 pants, 2 ties, 4 shirts = $36. Now I know dry cleaning is an expensive process and labor intensive (I used to work at one and I know A LOT of families that own several), but that seemed pretty steep. Again, we had a nice moment of awkwardness when I picked up my dry cleaning. Blank stares and waiting for me to act first. No hello, no thank you. Maybe I just caught the front counter lady in a bad mood. But a simple hello and a thank you are not much to ask for. Gonna take my clothes some place else. read more

They generally do a great job and have a fairly stable staff which is a good sign. I am not crazy about the prices but the cheapest cut corners somewhere and I don't buy cheap clothes. I have paid more for same results I get here. There aren't too many places that have good service here. Mediocre passes for normal in the area and would be out of business in a city where people know what good service is supposed to look like. People here seem to accept less because good service just seems to be scarce. This business however provides good to great service. Executive Cleaners is getting 5 stars because I was so impressed by the stains they were able to get out of a very dear and beloved coat of mine. The coat had a very nasty stain (of unknown origin) that I got when wearing it on a night out. It was disgusting and I wasn't hopeful that they would be able to do anything about it. When i picked it up, it looked good as new and there was NO sign of the stain, nor was there any chemical odor or residue. I've been going here for both cleaning and alterations. The turnaround is very fast, the clothes don't smell of chemicals, and the employees have given me good advice about cleaning specific items. i don't know about the cost, but I'm willing to pay a bit more for excellent service. The alterations were nothing complicated, but were well done. On one occasion, they did not clean an item because they noticed a major tear in delicate fabric, and they brought it to my attention, thus preventing further damage (it was a vintage dress from my grandmother, and I had not inspected it before bringing it in with a number of other items for cleaning). Also, the statement by another reviewer that there is "no indication" when customers enter the front door is simply false -- there is a very audible electronic sound; I've never had to wait as long as a minute, and I have always been greeted. read more
