We had always planned to reuse a particular piece of granite when we remodeled our kitchen - a large piece that we stored ourselves for years in our garage. When we were finally ready to remodel near the end of 2019, we agreed to contract with Prestige Marble and Granite because they agreed to cut and install our existing granite for our kitchen island, since we would also be buying our surrounding quartz countertops and tile for our backsplash new from them. They installed the quartz countertops in early March 2020 and we picked up the backsplash tile we had ordered. We paid for these materials and the quartz countertop install at that time - no small bill. (Prestige did not install the backsplash tile - our contractor did.) In mid-March, Prestige sent a representative out to template our island for the granite installation. It was at that time, that the representative got into an argument with me, saying that they "couldn't" install the granite, without a seam in it. We were very upset by this since we'd stored such a large piece of granite intact for years. After further questioning, the representative did admit that the granite could be cut on site and installed in a single piece if the range were moved out of the way for the install. We agreed to this, and thought the issue was resolved. A couple of days later, all Pennsylvania non-essential businesses were shut down due to COVID 19 precautions. We were able to contact Prestige, and although they were shut down, they assured us that they would send us a quote for the granite work. We never received the quote, despite multiple requests for it. Once Prestige was allowed to reopen in June 2020, we tried again, but every time we called, we were told that someone would get back to us, and they never did. We finally just heard today, June 15, 2020, through our contractor, NOT PRESTIGE, that Prestige won't install the granite for us without putting a seam in it. Needless to say, we are exceedingly upset. Not only will Prestige not complete the job that they agreed to, they didn't even bother to return our months of phone calls themselves. We understand that companies that are just reopening after the COVID shutdown are extremely busy, but this is beyond unprofessional, and is simply unacceptable. We expect our calls to be returned, and our job to be finished. read more

If you are looking to buy tile or granite in the Lehigh valley DO NOT GO HERE... Long story short, while installing our granite the young careless crew (I later found out they smelled of marijuana) was careless and scratched railings, ceiling and walls in stairwell. Then put about 10 marks on the walls that took the paint totally off and took a chinch of drywall out that was inches deep. They felt nothing was wrong and left, when I reported it to Mark (owner or manager) he would not take responsibilty. They denied most of it and did not care about working being on drugs. They never call back and they also lie. We had a painter come out for an estimate and he quoted over $2,000. When legal papers were drawn up, it said $500. The painter is Dan and he is a scum bag too. I'm done with them, read other reviews!!! They take no responsibilty, DO NOT GO HERE!!! Prestige installed beautiful quartzite countertops seven years ago. They're not beautiful anymore, and have etched, scratched, and flaked. I have called or gone to their office 6 times over the past 1.5 years asking for help, advice, refinishing, etc. I've heard promise after excuse after promise and still have had no resolution. I would give zero stars if I could. Worst company in the history of terrible service. They came out & estimated a full kitchen counter replacement job for my elderly parents. Their estimator made a huge mistake on the removal of the current counter and so they just walked off the job after my parents had paid and the granite was all cut. They refused to take ownership for their mistake. Horrible horrible company. Just don't give these people your business period. read more

Update: BBB has closed the complaint as of 5-22-2013. The suggestion is take it to the next level. Court? Prestige never offered to come to any agreement. Their one and only reply through the BBB was to blame and use my name repeatedly throughout the complaint response so the BBB would probably NOT post the words. BBB policy is to depersonalize the complaint. Prestige chose to not follow the BBB guidelines, one would suspect so the screw-ups they did, wouldn't become public. Yelp is your red flag. Some readers might think I am an outlier, a rogue chronic complainer out to disparage a merchant. I am 66 years of age, retired, reporting my experience. My belief is, if you cannot say anything nice, don't say anything at all. This Prestige experience is in the top 5 lifelong scamjobs I have experienced. Believe whatever you want. Just know Prestige walks away from their screw-up and you are on your own. I cannot urge you enough to have someone there for the installation (whoever you use to do your install) who knows what to look for because once installers leave, it's your word against theirs. What kind of evidence will you have? That's our problem. Basically two vague pictures taken incidentally on the day of installation that show a crack by the faucet when digitally zoomed. (see pictures here on Yelp next to my baby picture). Hey Prestige, if you are reading this, you are invited to reply here in the open and dispute me all you want. You saw the pictures. For all we know, you knowingly dispatched the cracked slab hoping to get by without detection. I cannot prove you did, and you cannot prove you didn't. I should have checked Yelp first. read more

Don't be fooled by their friendly staff. They are as nice as can be, but they are very unprofessional. The kid measuring the countertop had to do it twice. (We will see if it comes out right) Will update when they install it. I then tried to get an estimate for another job and they would not give it to me. Said I had to go through their friend so he could mark it up. He said this was so no one could go around him. He was paid for his original service and this was another project. So not the case. I would not recommend this company to install countertops. I just paid $10,000 to have them install scratched/damaged quartz in my kitchen they sent a repair man to rub them out and now I have rub marks on top of scratches I spoke with the owner (Mark) and he has done nothing to resolve this . I am forced to go thru BBB to resolve this and if they don't my next step is getting a lawyer. This company is very unprofessional. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere!!!!! read more

I recently had a new quartz countertop installed by Prestige Marble& Granite, and they did a fantastic job. I checked out many businesses in the Lehigh Valley, and they offered competitive prices and top-notch service, compared to the others. Since I was going from formica to quartz, and not replacing my backsplash, I had to have shims placed on top of my present cabinets. They recommended Tim who did a professional job. I have a large island and they were able to do it without a seam, which other contractors told me was not possible. The fellows who came to install the countertop were very helpful, even pulled out my frig and range, so I could clean behind them. They were proficient in what they do. There is only one thing I would recommend. I think it would be good if they gave the customer a sheet of instructions to take care of the countertop. They did tell me verbally, but a written form would be nice to refer to later. read more

If only the consumer could select a negative star- I don't know how this company is in business. Our project started in January 2018. A template for our kitchen and butler's pantry island was completed. The edge selections were not clearly explained therefore the product installed did not look as the consumer (myself) expected. So they tried to make good on this and did an on-site repair and took the island back to the shop. The on-site repairs are crooked and not a smooth edge. The butler's pantry piece was just left on my living room floor for months for them to come back and install. When they finally came back they realized the butler's pantry piece was almost 3" too big. I asked that they take it back to the shop to fix bc of the other on-site repair issues. They said it would be days before I got it back. In my mind it sat on my floor for months what's a few more days. They called an hour later and said it was ready. Interestingly this piece is crooked too. Every month or so they would call me to pay the remaining 800.00 bill for the crooked piece in the butler's pantry. If only I had read the other reviews before I decided to take our kitchen remodel savings and give to this establishment. read more

I wish I would have read the reviews first... I'm still waiting a month after the installation of my "first" bathroom sink. Wrong granite top. I ordered two, so, I thought that it was an honest mistake. We proceeded to remove our next bathroom after being assured that we would have a sink to put in to bathroom A. 2.5 weeks and 2 other wrong sinks, we agreed to install one until we could work it out. Picked out a replacement and I'm still waiting - finally had communication though - and we (in theory) will have it next week. Their communication skills have much to be desired and they really should care about their customers. There was one nice salesman that has tried to help, but, otherwise, the people in the showroom would rather run away than talk to a customer. Very frustrating! Their tile business is a complete difference - I wish they had their own site so that I could give them a much better rating. Always friendly service there. Never a problem finding help. read more

Pros: Beautiful showroom. They have a bazillion samples available to browse plus dozens of small kitchen & bath set ups to see some ideas together. Convenient location near the auto mile (actually, they are now in what was the Lexus showroom). Negatives: Crappy, crappy service. Not so great prices. We've been in a few times. We went in the first time to get a quotation on having granite installed in our bathroom. The lady we talked to was nice enough, helped us to pick out the granite that would fit the room best, and said that the estimators would get back to us within a few business days. Six weeks later, I STILL hadn't heard anything. So I called back several times, playing phone tag, before I ever got the quote. Needless to say, we didn't buy from them. For some dumb reason, I thought it was smart go to back to look at tile for our backsplash in the kitchen. Saw plenty that I liked, but we walked around the tile showroom for nearly 25 minutes before anyone came out to talk to us. Saw three people sitting in the office area, chatting, apparently deciding that we weren't worth talking to. When someone did finally come out, I asked for pricing on a specific tile, and found that they wanted nearly double what Distinctive Tile had quoted us for the exact same tile. It's a great place to browse...I get plenty of ideas from their showroom...but I just can't spend money with people who don't appreciate my business. Plenty of other tile & kitchen stores in the Valley who do. read more

Yelp deleted my previous review because it was not "first person", let me clarify: I went to the shop to order tile with my father, we ordered and I paid for the majority of it as a retirement gift. They installed and cracked the counter (while I was there) and then refused to replace it. They later told me that I (or my father) cracked the counter and it was not their fault. They made other mistakes on the order but those were fixed. Once they had my final payment they cut off communication and refused to do anything to fix the problem!! Stay away! read more

We recently visited Prestige in Emmaus in search of tile for a kitchen backsplash in a hard to match kitchen. In need of a little decorative assistance we worked with Laura, who helped us identify a few tile options. We were given samples to "try out at home" and returned to Prestige with a decision. Laura helped process the order and referred us to "Gerry", a wonderful installer. The resulting installation was smooth, professional and was scheduled fairly quickly. A few days later, "Wade", who oversees installation at Prestige called us to ensure that all went well and that we were satisfied prior to processing our payment. Overall, we were completely satisfied with the product and services we received from Prestige and Gerry and we will definitely turn to both Prestige and Gerry for our next tile purchase. read more

They were wonderful and PATIENT- as I took many, many samples home to "try out" in my new kitchen. It was like going to the library, taking new ones, and bringing back the old. Eventually, I picked out some granite, and had no problems with installation. The sales people and experience was wonderful. They were helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. The templating process was easy and the template man was quick and efficient. The installation was faster than expected, but that is where the train started to come off the tracks. When drilling the holes for our sink, the installer didn't actually measure the hand soap dispenser, which was in the sink cabinet, resulting in a hole too big for the soap dispenser. Additionally, our faucet hole was drilled at an angle, meaning our faucet won't go in the sink. Accidents happen, but getting someone from Prestige to actually contact us to set up a time to fix this has been difficult. They were on top of sending the bill though, as that arrived while we are waiting for someone to call us back about fixing the problems with installation. In short, the experience with Prestige was wonderful, right up until they actually had to deliver a product successfully. read more

Searched out many showrooms to buy our tile and countertops. The expanse of product was a little overwhelming because there are so many choices. Our sales gal had some good advice with the textures and colors we were trying to match in the surrounding areas of our kitchen and Great room. They were very patient with us in trying to decide and helped in assuring us with our color selection, they were right, it looks great. Whatever caused the atrocious reviews this place received back in the 2011-2013 timeframe has clearly been fixed. My experience with them was superb. Great selection of materials. Competitive prices (we got bids from four companies and Prestige was third least expensive but had BY FAR the best selection). And their service was highly professional. Installers arrived right on time. They were polite and the prepped and installed the countertops meticulously. Would recommend them to anyone. read more

I just had a Corian top (with sink) installed in my bathroom (1950's vintage) over the top of the yellow tile version vanity I had. Several contractors said I had to rip out all the tile and start over remodeling the whole thing to the tune of $24K plus. The Prestige installer, John, came and measured and said he could do it. I picked out the color (with some samples they let me bring home) and I couldn't be more pleased with the job. He sawed out the old sink and then laid the countertop over the old one. With a new faucet and knobs on a freshly painted vanity, it looks terrific: total price for counter/sink: $1500. I am going to call them to have a second bathroom done the same way. read more

Their customer service is badly lacking. I had several different reasons why they did not come back to install the back splash two days later. I rearranged for a different day and I heard them in the driveway and ran downstairs to open the door. They took off down the street claiming that I never answered the door. They said that my phone number was not on their job order. I lost my cool with the male office manager after getting told lies the day before. He got mad at me for yelling at him. Those that are properly trained know how to calm down a customer, apologize for the inconvenience and say that they will look into it. I did not have a problem with them two years ago. I will NOT deal with them again. In my neighborhood, we hire contractors by word of mouth. Why would I deal with disorganized customer service and someone that brings my blood pressure from normal to high? read more

They don't use the same piece of stone that you reserved. When you go to the showroom take detailed pictures of the marble or granite you picked so you can compare them to what they deliver. read more

I had the same experience. I am so disappointed that I bought something from them. I went to the showroom 5 times and did not get assistance any time....except to revive samples to take home. I did end up buying from them. Still not sure why. The installation was not done correctly and they have yet to make it right. We would never give a bad review if it was not legitimate. That said, do not walk away from Prestige Marble and Granite. RUN and take your wallet with you! We ordered a standard double vanity countertop. After the order was placed, deposit paid and template made we rcvd a call from our sales person Jolynn that she forgot to include the price of two sinks. Receipt included TWO sinks but she insisted it was not in the price. An increase of $300. We asked them to absorb half and they agreed. Things continued to go downhill. The countertop was installed with a large scratch down the backsplash. The backslash was so thick the sink stoppers could not be used. They also made a mess on the walls with was silicone. We called Prestige Marble and Granite immediately and were told to send an email with pictures. This person showed no concern or surprise and we knew we were in for a battle with Prestige Marble and Granite. Sent the email and pics a few days went by and no reply. Called Prestige Marble and Granite and person email was sent to was on vacation and nobody else was made aware. We were told someone from Prestige Marble and Granite would call back. Again, no retuned calls so we went to the Prestige Marble and Granite store. Again, nobody was aware of the situation. All this time We are still without a working sinks. Finally they sent someone out to repair and they don't do any repair work after 3pm , you are on their schedule even when it's Prestige Marble and Granite botch job. It took THREE TIMES for the backsplash to be replaced. In the process they chipped our newly painted walls. They said don't you have any leftover paint? Our bathroom had been completely remodeled , new floors, paint, molding, vanity, etc. It was months of hard work and expense. Prestige Granite and Marble entered our home and single handily destroyed it. They have the Facebook logo on all advertising but the account is not active. Probably because they are not able to keep up with the complaints. Shop local? Not in the case. We will continue to spread the word that Prestige Marble and Granite is inferior and hopefully their doors will close before more consumers are ripped off. read more

Where do I even begin. I can't believe they are not being investigated for unfair trade practices. My husband and I re-did our kitchen and two bathrooms. We went to Prestige and met with Joelyn. After many trips and samples later we picked a level 4 granite for through out our house. There was a large sample of the granite we liked at the showroom but it was completely pitted and chipped and we let Joelyn know that even though we loved that granite we did not want that particular slab. She assured us they would never give us that and gave us the option of picking our slab prior to the job being completed. We agreed and left a deposit between 3-4k and scheduled the templating. The day of the templating Stanley came out and a few days later they allowed us to go to the warehouse where the cutting is done to approve our stone. When we arrived at the warehouse we met Mark, not sure if he is the GM or owner, but he runs the show. We were brought over to two slabs of the granite we liked. They were both standing on edge, wet and shiny. One was pristine and beautiful and the had some strange marks all over it. I told Mark I did NOT want that slab and he said we need to use that slab just for your banquet but we will cut around the bad parts and we will use the perfect slab for the rest of the kitchen and baths. We told him we were nervous about that, but he reassured us he would oversee the templating and it would be great. A week later we got a call for install. Greg and 2 other men arrived and started installing. The kitchen went in first and they did not smooth one of the edges next to the stove so one side has a polished edge and the other sharp and unfinished. There were gaps where it was cut wrong up against the wall and every time they filled it, it would fall through. I walked into the bathroom and one of the cut outs for the sink was so crooked it was obvious and I said please rip that up before the epoxy dries and they looked at me like I was crazy. I insisted they call who ever they need to and get that piece back up. It was clearly not right. In dealing with the bathroom I forgot to go back out and look at the finished kitchen. They took the bathroom slab out and said they would be back. A week went by and in that time we were able to inspect the rest of their work and the stone. I told my husband I thought they gave us the bad slab. There were patch marks all over with areas that looked as if they had been repaired. I called and complained and was told that when Greg came back out to re- install the bathroom vanity he would take care of everything. Greg came back to install the vanity and said he would not be the one to do the repairs but told my husband and I to call and get on the repair list with Stanley. While Greg was here I asked how they repair damaged stone and he told us " that it is filled with epoxy and a light held over the stone and they you scrape it with a razor blade after its dried and polish". He went on to tell me and my husband about a stone he had worked on the previous week that had 190 divots and the repairs took all day. I asked if that was our stone and he said no and they finished the bathroom install and left. As soon as he walked out the door I told my husband that was definitely our stone. You can see the repairs on each piece and when we went to the warehouse to see the slabs i believe the slab we said we did not want had been repaired by Greg. I called right away and asked to speak with Mark. On the phone I told him he was dishonest and gave us damaged stone. I let him know it not only was installed wrong but I could see the epoxy marks from all the repairs and he needed to make it right. He said he would send Stanley out. Stanley came out the following week (very nice man) looked at the stone agreed it was not right and said he felt bad. Said he needed to go back and speak with Mark and he would be in touch. He called back about a week later and said that he was sorry, but Mark was not going to make it right and wanted me to pay the $4000 balance. He said Mark denied selling me damaged stone and Greg denied telling us he spent a day repairing a stone and that he felt really bad. He went on to say "between you and I, I told Mark how reasonable you were being, but it fell on deaf ears". I thanked Stanley for his honesty and told him to get a message to Mark. Fix the stone or adjust the balance due as I was not paying a total of $8000 for damaged goods and that if he didn't want to do that we would need to go to court to settle this. Well yesterday we got a letter from a debt collector demanding the balance due or they would put a mechanics lean on our property. We called the collector and explained the damage and why we were refusing to pay, but we are now in the middle of legal stress that no one should have to deal with. They are a dishonest company and clearly do not care about customer satisfaction. Shop Elsewhere!!! read more

They accommodated our request to pull a full slab of quartz out of storage for us to view and helped us choose the sink color when we were stuck between two choices. Templater was very thorough and confirmed our expectations as he progressed to ensure outcome. Installers were friendly, polite, efficient and did an absolutely impeccable job (the seam is virtually invisible). read more

Don't buy run as fast as you can. Screw up after screw up and then when you say need to recover some costs for damage to other parts of the job like faucets, cabinets and flooring they send you to collection rather than make good for the damage their installers do. Sloppy workmanship, careless to the surroundings. Again run don't walk to another group for your work. This company obviously doesn't have any insurance to cover their jobs when they screw up. read more
