I was working and not on my phone as I mentioned, so how would I know he was here. I was told I had to pay a cancellation fee of $40.00, but I had not cancelled the appointment! I did not know he was here waiting for me to acknowledge him when no one called or rang the doorbell. Lastly, because I had paid, the tech returned later in the day to put my car back the way he found it, however the new gear shifter, still not working! Unbelievable! When a mechanic is replacing a new part, is it not part of the job to make sure that part is working as it should before they can say the job is complete?
