I brought my 2008 Lexus ES 350 to be repaired after receiving an exorbitant amount for repairs that were supposedly needed on my car by the Lexus Dealership in Smyrna. Sergio took my car in and replaced the wheel bearings on right and left front side and also assessed my car for the other proposed services that needed done. He did an excellent job on the wheel bearings and also treated my car with care. He advised me that I did not need the services that Nalley Lexus in Smyrna indicated and only needed to replace a couple of more things that were not going to break the bank for me as opposed to letting the dealership perform these task. I really appreciated being told the truth in all honesty and that they have very good reasonable prices. They also do not keep your car forever and give you the run around if you call them as some auto repair places do. I am very glad to have found them and have since brought my second car here to be repaired also. I usually say that there are two things I hate about having a car. One is purchasing it because I don't trust car salesman and getting it repaired because I don't trust car mechanics as a woman! I would recommend them to anyone needing quality, honest, reliable and reasonably priced repair done on their vehicle. You will not be disappointed and will continue to come here for all your auto repair needs! Let me also add they don't give you the run around either. This IS the shop you're looking for! If interested, read on... I'm a BMW fanatic, currently on my 5th one. Have had lots of experience over the years from the dealerships down to the backyard mechanics. Finding a good, honest and affordable BMW mechanic has always been a challenge, and rarely do you find all of those qualities in one shop. Not any more... I bought a 2009 128i convertible for my daughter that had some known issues when I acquired it, most notably an electrical glitch and a leaky valve cover gasket that would drip onto the manifold and smoke pretty bad. I took it to a different shop that told me the electrical glitch could require replacing at least a control unit (ECM) and more, and could potentially be thousands of dollars. In fact, they seemed reluctant to tackle the job. They also gave me a quote on the gasket replacement, just over $1700. I knew that a lot of the quote was for unnecessary parts, not merely a valve cover seal. Tommy and team worked on the 128, replacing the valve gasket for only a few hundred dollars, ran diagnostics and a reset of the electrical system and put a full charge on the battery which seemed to fix the problem. He said we could throw expensive parts at it (ECM and CAS modules), or wait to see if problem recurs again. After a couple of weeks, still no issues with it! I am thoroughly satisfied with the work performed by Ultimate Motorwerks, and will absolutely rely on them down the road! read more

My guy! I've been to many different mechanics and I was never happy with them. However, Thomas is a great mechanic and the one who I now go to when I need my car serviced. He's efficient, reliable and super honest. It's hard finding an honest mechanic. Yet, I can always trust him to tell me exactly what I need and he will always offer to show you what is wrong with the car without pressuring you to get expensive services (which I learned is a sign of a shady mechanic, and what I've noticed about the other shops that I've been to). His prices are also great! I like the waiting area as well. It is immaculate, which is not something I've noticed at other shops. The best part about this business is that it's Black-owned. If your car is in great condition, they have no problem letting that be known, instead of trying to upsell you on services your car does not need (i.e. Global Imports). So happy I found this place! Our aging BMW has lots of noises and Tommy is always honest and fixes only what needs to be fixed and doesn't try to add on more charges. This auto shop is awesome. I will definitely be back. The service is top-notch. I've been searching for a shop where I could take my BMW 750 and receive a fair estimate and great reliable service. I dropped by this shop after reading reviews. Those reviews were spot on. I spoke with Tommy about my concerns and he just asked if he could take a ride with me to see if we could duplicate the issues. He inspected the tires and we discovered what the issue was. We both drive BMW's and when people see the badge they ultimately think of "upsell, upsell, upsell..." Ultimate Motorwerks is a different type of shop, they are always honest and don't try to sell anything that isn't needed. They will explain to you what you need and even take you in the bay to show you what they see just to make sure you have a full understanding of why the work is needed. The turnaround time is always reasonable but the courtesy and honesty of an honest mechanic cannot be beat! If you are looking for a good local mechanic and you want someone who will be honest with you and go out of his way to be helpful, this is the place for you. When you get there, ask for Tommy. I drive a Jeep, not a vehicle that you would expect to have serviced at a place that specializes in foreign cars. My first trip to Ultimate Motorwerks was actually by accident. I pulled in the parking lot because Google had a listing for an Aamco there. Well, the Aamco is closed, so I popped in the office at Motorwerks, met Tommy and told him I needed an oil change. He doesn't stock Jeep filters (why would he???) but he quickly offered to send someone to get one and take care of my oil change. I won't go back to my dealership for service because of a really bad experience. I told Tommy the whole story the first time I was there, and he was very honest about what the dealer should have done AND what they shouldn't have charged me. It was a great experience that day and I told my husband about it. Hubby drives a Nissan Murano. He went to see Tommy for his next oil change and now he won't go anywhere else. Unless my Jeep needs something only a dealer could do, I won't go anywhere else either! These guys don't even specialize in Jeeps, but this is the only place I'll take mine.
