So I contacted 5 tree expert companies to give me a quote to remove a huge (30ft tall plus) pine tree in my back yard. Out of the 5 quotes I received they were cheapest by far. I'm talking about over $1,000 less than all of the over companies. The other companies quotes ranged from $2,000 to $2,800 just to remove the tree, plan an additional $300-$500 for the stump removal. Prestige Tree experts quote was $1,100 to remove the tree and $275 for stump removal. They even took off $100 of the prices after I called and requested a discount. I have to admit I was a little concern about the price because I wondered if the job would be as good given that it's so much cheaper. Man, was I impressed with the job! They guys showed up on time at 8 am and completed the entire job by 10 am. I'm talking about complete which includes cleanup as well. I would recommend this company to anyone who wants their tree and/or stump removed. I found Prestige Tree Service searching online when getting quotes to have trees removed from my back yard. Prestige came promptly to see what the job was about and provided a quote plus provided copies of their insurance. I checked them out and they are licensed and their insurance. I hired them a few days later. They showed up the day and time they said. It was a big job (remove 8 large and 2 small trees, plus stump grinding) so it took them an extra 4-6 hrs to finish, no issues. They cleaned the driveway every day after they were done. We called Prestige along with 2 other companies. I was concerned at first because we have had several jobs down this year by various contractors and I have been disappointed time after time. Our job involved work on 10 trees -- 2 were cut down completely, 6 were raised and 5 trees were thinned out. We are so very pleased with the result. I was concerned because their cost was lower than the other two companies and I feared I was making a mistake. However, they arrived with 2 trucks and a shredder and about 6 workers. They came when they said they were and the crew was highly professional. They worked hard and left my yard looking better when they left.
