This review is based solely on my personal experience and interaction with Prestige. My experience: When the windows were delivered on November 15, 2024, I was unable to reject the delivery as I was informed verbally, and they confirmed in writing, that the windows first "needed to be installed" before any inspection could take place. Per the contract terms, I was required to make the payments due at each stage -- including the delivery day payment, which brought my total paid to 90% of the $24,378.89 -- or face financial and legal consequences. FDACS public records: On March 2, 2026 I filed a consumer complaint with FDACS, State Consumer Mediator. Last week, on April 28, 2026, Prestige stated to the FDACS Mediator that I had: "inspected, accepted, paid for (in full), and permitted full installation of the product. No timely rejection occurred under the contract terms." BBB public record: However, 7 months earlier under the BBB complaint filed June 30, 2025, Prestige stated in a response on August 11, 2025: "When the client tried to 'reject the delivery', we called the manufacturer and they told us the windows had to be installed for them to look at them." I will now be taking the next legal step, supported by the detailed documentation I have compiled from Prestige's statements, responses and interactions over the past 18 months. My suggestion: Read the full complaints from the BBB (7/30/2025) and the FDACS (3/02/2026) which you can request to view at no cost. Based on the information in those documents and my experience, you can decide whether this is the right company for your project. Obnoxious and rude salesman (RYAN) knocked on my door, on 8/27/2025 in Orlando, despite the "NO SOLICITATION" signs posted. After asking him if he saw the sign, he smirked and say no because it was at ground level. I asked him where I should post it then and he smirked again and said "I don't know." I rudely told him to get off my property. Yes, I realizes that salesmen are instructed to ignore no solicitation signs, but it was his smug behavior after asking him if he saw the sign. We spoke to Charles and he said he could send out a couple guys to give us an estimate on remodeling our bathrooms. We only wanted new vanities, mirrors and tile work. He called us 3 times up to the day before the appointment and connected us with with a woman to go over our information. When she found out we were not doing our bathtub or shower all of a sudden they could not help us. They knew our plan from the beginning. This is not how you do business, you cancel the customer because you are not getting what you want, but you should have told us from the beginning if we did not remodel the bathtub or shower they would not take the job. This was a waste of time, but a blessing in disguise. I will not use them no matter what they offer us. read more

I will give two stars because I have not had any problems with the windows they installed, but I feel like the front door has been nothing, but a problem since installed. The front door was like an after thought. The sidelight came in the wrong color. I live in a condo and all sidelights are white. When installed the sidelight from Prestige was brown which caused problems with my HOA. It also took multiple times to have someone come out and actually finish the door because it was left unfinished for some reason which I had to call to get them to send someone to finish. When speaking to the "supervisor" about the front door and sidelight he told me in no certain terms that he would pay to have the sidelight painted, but not the front door which makes no sense because if the sidelight had been white in the first place I wouldn't have had to have anything painted, so my extra expense was their company's fault. The door was left un-calked and I had to call again to have them come and calk door which they did, but the door is really unsatisfactory. It feels flimsy and squeaks when it opens. Why should a brand new door squeak? I feel like the "supervisor" was not very nice or sympathetic to my problems with this front door. I feel like I will have to replace the front door and sidelight soon and I am so disappointed. I have a neighbor who installed a door right after me. I believe she used Home Depot and her door was perfectly installed with no issues. Complete with calk around the door which looks very professional compared to the way my door was left. At one point the molding or whatever they put at the top of the door started sagging and this is how I realized the door was unfinished. Prestige delivered window/sliders/doors on time. As promised, they began work a week later (my request) at exactly 8 a.m. We had a lot of rotten wood replaced and the concrete deteriorated over time and they even repaired the concrete around the windows. We only spoke English while the workers only spoke Spanish. The installers worked like a fine oiled machine from beginning to end. They knew what they were doing. The job was completed in 2 days on a 2 story home. The city inspector was impressed with their work and passed without any issues. The windows and doors were far superior that what we expected. I couldn't have wished for anything better from purchasing to installation. Installers covered furniture etc. with plastic covering and cleaned up after themselves. There was minimal dust. Every scrap in the yard was removed. I have nothing negative to say about the whole process. The windows/sliders/doors are solid, quiet, glide easily in the tracks and lock securely. We paid a down payment, a partial payment when windows were delivered and final payment after instillation was completed. Prestige windows/doors are made in the USA not overseas as some other companies do. Make sure you know where your windows/doors are made. A friend of mine used another company and has had nothing but problems with her windows/slider. You get what you pay for. We recommend Prestige Windows and Doors. HORRENDOUS experience with this company. The impact sliding doors they installed over 7 years ago in the second floor have leaked to our first floor and cause huge damages since the beginning and they refuse to do what is necessary to stop the leaks, and to repair the damages.I will have to take legal action against them. Erika, their salesperson, told us that they did not outsource installations and their inhouse professional installers would make the installation. That's the main reason why we decided to pay over $5000 more than other offers and do it with them. It was a lie, they outsourced the job to inexperienced installers who caused damage when removing the old windows and doors, chipped the concrete out side walls, broke the flooring edge of our bedroom, then applied a horrible stucco job outside that we had to fix with an experienced company and repaint. When every sliding door on the second floor started to leak they brought someone to put tons of caulking, which only stopped the leaks for a couple of weeks and it's been that way ever since, over and over. Now the flooring on the secong floor where my children sleep is starting to fall and needs to be reinforced, fix the ceiling, and mold, but they have stopped answering my courts, so I'm hiring a lawyer. Now the owner, Robert Scavuzzo, who refuses to speak to me personally, says the only way to stop the leaks is to remove the doors and put hot tar under them but I would have to do it myself. Absurd. I had a great crew working in my home, they were respectful and had loads of professionalism. Started on time and work efficiently. Unfortunately the process was very drawn out. We started our process to get the windows in 11/23 and we just had them installed 7/24/24. To make matters worst they finished my windows and left all the trash in my yard. When I addressed the lead (David younes) he assured me that the trash would be picked up in a timely matter. Spoke to the lead about the trash this morning and once again assured me it would be picked up today. Trash is currently still in my yard. I had rated 5 star, overlooking all the sets backs. The only reason I leave two start is because the actual working crew did a great job. I don't plan on recommending them solemnly because they don't stay consistent with there promises; from the length of the process, to the days it would take to installed( both promises by the sales person). Took over a year for my project to be completed. Just front and back impact doors. There was miscommunication about what I wanted. I did not get what I truly wanted, but oh well! They sent workers that did not speak English and I had to call their representative to be able to communicate with them. They ordered the wrong door handles and put on temporaries but never sent the correct ones (I have called twice but it's been over six months). They left equipment and I asked them if they wanted it and to come get it but it's still here. Would never use them again and regret going with this company. They are difficult to communicate with and when you call no one knows who you are or what you are calling about. read more

My original review was a glowing one, I really liked our sales rep. He has since left the company and I can see why. Even though industry standard is 30% deposit, 35% on delivery, and 35% on installation, Prestige does their own thing. They expect to have 90% paid before installation is even discussed. They say that this was in the original agreement, but it wasn't brought to my attention at the time it was signed (shocking I know). Now I have no doors and they are refusing to reimburse the original down payment. I wish I had read some of these reviews before choosing this company. Another day, another house project! This time for the ever important hurricane impact windows and doors. While it ended up taking four months from the initial quote to install, we made it through hurricane season unscathed and everything worked out. Laszlo was our initial sales rep. I met with a few different companies and really appreciated his patience and care when discussing all of our options. In the end, we went with Prestige for the install and they also helped with financing. From there, we had to wait until the windows were delivered and permits processed in order to schedule the installation. While it did take awhile, I was appreciative of Prestige's communication throughout the different steps. I was able to communicate by email and phone with their staff throughout. The installation took a few days and did require some fixes when the city inspector came; however, they worked quickly and efficiently, also cleaning up along the way. Overall, I love the look of our new windows and doors! Not to mention, I'll be so much more at ease next time a hurricane rolls around. My windows needed to be updated and I had decided to take care of the ten windows that were in poor condition and were in need to be updated. I interviewed seven contractors checking their license and ratings including having them each come and give me an estimate for the cost and what was included. The representative I got was Jacob, who came and after assessing the size told me he would email me the estimate. One, Jacob sent me the estimate within 24 hours, and second he was not pushy or trying to push a sale. I went with this company and visited their location and after comparing them to the others they were the lowest price. The people I dealt with in this company were attentive and gave me updates on the project even with the slow down due to Covid. Ashley, Christine were the ladies that helped me whenever I had questions or concerns. The installation guy was Lucas, friendly and amazing he replaced those windows quickly and the mess he cleaned. To be honest I was preparing to have to have a major cleaning and thankfully didn't have much to clean since even the furniture was covered but the dust I thought would be an issue wasn't! The work after was more than I expected and will definitely use them again. Please note that you pay 40 percent up front and permit process and inspection they take care of doing. The windows that were done updated the house. If your looking for updating your windows with Impact call and ask for Jacob to come out and give you an estimate. Again look at the pictures. read more

Buyer Beware. Our experience has been exhausting with Prestige Windows & Doors. The initial first steps went rather smoothly- easy to set up the appointment for a sales person to visit our home and give the quote, timeframe from ordering windows and sliding doors to installation was within what was originally stated. The outside or contracted window and door installers were courteous but no attention to detail and left gaps and large areas around the new window frame and house. We had to hire someone to fill in with stucco. However, about a week after the final inspection- the large (very heavy) sliding door frame would not stay attached to the frame and kept falling out of place. Very dangerous if children or animals are around. This took about 7 months for Prestige to correct after multiple visits without the correct parts and no show appointments. The remaining issue is that handles to open and close were never installed on our 3 sliding door screens. This should be an easier fix- its just door handles. Our windows and sliders were installed early spring 2021, since December 2021, only 1 set of door handles been placed, we are still waiting for the remaining 2 to be added. We've have had many appointments with technicians coming to the house not knowing why they are here, not having the needed parts, technician ordering the parts and showing us the paperwork but Prestige not having a clue that parts were ordered and multiple No Show/ No Call appointments..... I can't begin to explain the amount of time and energy we have spent just following up on DOOR HANDLES from this company. I can only imagine what their customers with big issues are dealing with. A very serious mistake to our review of yesterday ... our windows that were manufactured by Alside are only 10 years old!!! A typo!! Windows of that age should not defect so soon, and 4 of our 16 have already defected and had to be replaced. We signed a contract in March 2023 with installation in September 3 months later than quoted. One window and one door were installed damaged, and we were assured that replacement units were ordered but would take another 8-12 weeks. January they still had no arrived and we were told they were never ordered in the first place. We have been calling multiple times a week for written confirmation the damaged hardware is ordered and will be installed free of cost and cannot get a response. read more

On 5/11/22 I signed a contract with Prestige Windows & Doors of 8232 Commerce Way, Miami Lakes, FL. to replace a shingle roof & a window on an upper roof ledge. I paid an extra $800 for joint taping and and extra $1,200 for a water barrier layer on the field of the roof which were additional services offered. I wanted to invest in a fully sound end product spending over 29K with them in final totals. The roof project portion was done first due to manufacturing delays with the window. From the day following the completion of the newly done roof there was leaking water inside the house, leaks with fresh water stains on the ceiling that were not there prior to the roof project. When advised, Prestige reps said the water damage likely happened between the tear down & the install, ignoring the issue rather than investigating it. Leaks continued. With subsequent calls, texts, emails, discussions with customer service and multiple in-office visits to Miami Lakes the only thing that would happen was menial patchwork attempts, a couple of times a bucket of tar was used to dab along edges, the majority of the time simply adding caulking to the area around the window on the roof ledge, pictures taken by reps to "show management". Multiple water tests were done, each one confirming continuous leaking with more promises to "notify the boss" & decide what to do. I addressed my concerns with Prestige repeatedly. How was it leaking with taped joints and the water barrier layer underneath a new roof? Must be the window on the upper ledge was their reply & they then expedited their window manufacturing request. Window project was finally done. Still leaks continued for more than 1 year. Water accumulating in light fixtures, pouring through smoke detector, ruining and corroding connections, greater ceiling damage & discoloration, water pooling on the floors. It was obvious even to me that the window was missing pieces of trim & had gaps water could drain into. This situation and reps returning with caulk & camera while reporting to "the boss" continued. I contacted the city permit office who'd issued the work permit. They also made communication with Prestige, more of the same patchwork responses. I contacted the BBB filing a complaint. My boyfriend contacted Google and Yelp in May 2023 while clearly stating it was on my behalf and at my request. I was willing to go to the Florida Attorney General and begin legal proceedings as well if needed. I made that clear to Prestige in written documentation, by phone with customer service and in person via an in-office visit to Prestige Corp in Miami Lakes. By the end of May 2023 people started to show up to actually rectify the leaking. A crew tried to finish the window trim & seal. Leaking continued. A roof leak specialist came with a crew & determined multiple leak sources. The roof was leaking, the window was leaking, the dormer housing the window and trim was leaking. That crew made recommendations to Prestige for remedy. The next step, with my approval, was to demo all the wood trim on the dormer and stucco the entirety of it, find & remedy the last roof leak, refinish the interior home damage, perform a final leak test and clean tar spattered on the glass of the new window. The repairs were done at last with the assistance of the new Prestige roofing mgr, John. The final leak test & window cleanup did not happen until the end of June 2023. John made good on finishing the project to my satisfaction. The unfortunate part was the year of time wasted that was spent taking pictures, over a hundred documented communications, sending people with tar & caulking and the fact that the real work did not start until the power of bad reviews on Google, Yelp & the BBB were used. The insult of the disrespect via lies in management responses online and cover ups has not been forgotten and dismissed. Sadly, the lack of honor & integrity in ridiculous and easily provable blame-shifting and stalling remains and shows the nature of the ownership of this company. read more

FOLLOW UP: Today is January 17, 2024. In November I spoke with owner Robert Scavucco about my refund for the screens that were never installed on the two sets of sliders. He said he'd have the check issued ($481). To date I have NOT received the check. I cannot state clearly enough that I would NEVER recommend that anyone use this company for their windows/doors. FOLLOW UP: Today is September 22, 2023 - Prestige Windows and Doors called me a month ago to ask me to take down my review. They have not issued my refund or called me back to explain why they haven't. Do not work with Prestige Windows & Doors. I entered into a contract with Prestige back in July, 2021 to replace all windows and doors in my home with hurricane windows and doors, which included the replacement of 4 glass block windows. Prestige applied to the City of West Palm Beach for the appropriate permit. In June, 2022 the materials were delivered to our home for installation, however, during inspection, we were told that the hurricane windows for the 4 glass block windows violated the current building codes. When I reached out to the City to ask about the original approval, I learned that Prestige's original permit was rejected back in September, 2021. Then in June 2022, the City sent me the rejected and revised permit request indicating that the 4 glass block windows wouldn't be replaced. Prestige never communicated this information to us or our GC. Furthermore, our contract with Prestige stated that no materials would be ordered until the permits were obtained. Prestige finished the installation of the windows and doors that were approved in June 2022. We immediately noticed 13 items in need of repair, 4 of which were significant and instantly notified Prestige of the issues. Nine items were repaired several months later. Service managers came to our home on two occasions to assess the severity of the 4 open issues and they agreed on what needed to be fixed. In May 2023, the Manager and installers were able to complete 3 significant repairs. The remaining repair is for the screen doors, which still remains an issue. They ordered the wrong screens and attempted to repair the track for the screen doors, which at the time they thought they repaired correctly. I requested a refund at that time and was denied, instead they ordered new screens. Today, an installer came to put in the screens, and once again could not install them because the track was still incorrect, and the wrong screens were ordered. In addition to all of these service frustrations, in the midst of trying to resolve them, I contacted the owner of Prestige, Robert Scavucco, back in June, 2022 regarding the permit rejection. I was appalled by how disrespectful I was treated by him. He yelled at me on the phone and told me that with my tone and attitude that he would find it hard to authorize any additional work on my home. As a business owner myself, I found this completely inappropriate and unethical. We are now 2+ years post original order and we still don't have screens for our two sets of sliding glass doors, limiting the use of those doors. We just finished a project of having 8 windows and the front door installed. From the beginning, the sales person, Marcel Rizo was very professional, took his time explaining the process, including that it would take a long time from the ordering date to installation because of Covid and all the shutdowns. I appreciated his honesty and decided to sign for the job. I am very happy with the outcome. The installers were very helpful and kind. They showed up early everyday and worked hard and cleaned up afterwards. The manager, Guillermo, came around a few times and did a final walkthrough with us to make sure we were happy with the job. With enthusiasm, I recommend Prestige Windows and Doors. Replacing our windows, doors, and skylights with hurricane impact glass was the first of several projects for which I have dealt with various contractors, a total of seven for a series of home improvement projects. We were initially weighing the possibility of buying a more expensive home, but, for a variety of reasons, we decided to remain in our older home, and upgrade it. We have therefore been living in a construction site for the last year, but we have overall enjoyed the process, beginning with our relationship with Prestige. We hired Prestige after I spoke with many contractors in Southeast Florida, including representatives of all the major name brand window manufacturers. We also contacted several of the top listings on Angie's List and Home Advisor. We had several estimates from various contractors. Although Prestige was not the least expensive, we judged them reasonably priced and most competent. The manufactured windows, doors, and skylights Prestige recommended (CGI) had been recommended by others of the most well-reviewed contractors. Dealing with any contractor for repairing or refurbishing a fifty year old Florida house almost invariably involves unwanted surprises in the quality of the previous construction, delays beyond the contractor's control in the delivery of manufactured products, and accidents by even the best-trained, best-supervised, and most conscientious workers. It is essential that the contractor warn the consumer and plan with the client ahead of time for possibilities for delay or difficulty. Consumers should steer clear of any contractor who promises a totally smooth building process. Prestige and Chris Rivas pass those standards with flying colors. All levels of management sprung into action as we encountered various difficulties. The owner of the company visited us personally to assure us of their top to bottom commitment. Operations manager Mike and Installation manager Luis were constantly on site and/or available to us by phone. Chris Rivas promised that he would stay involved in every stage of our project. Many contractors promise the world. Few deliver at the level of Prestige. Lucas was the foreman of the on-site crew, and was outstanding in every respect. What could go wrong? What didn't go wrong, having nothing to do with Prestige? When product was later than expected in delivery, Prestige informed us regularly of progress on delivery. When the crew started to replace all of the windows and doors in our Florida room, they discovered that the only thing holding up the roof were the old windows and doors. There had been no proper framing or support. All of that had to be made by Prestige and installed before the new windows and doors could be installed. Even though many unexpected problems arose, Prestige and especially Chris Rivas warned us ahead of time. There were some increases in costs, but Prestige kept our cost overruns to a minimum, less frankly than we might have anticipated. Even a few months after we had finished paying in full, Prestige fully honored their guarantees. For example, we had difficulty with the electric locks we had installed in the front and back doors. Prestige made sure that the lock manufacturer repaired the locks in full, to our satisfaction. We are thrilled with the quality of the products Prestige installed, even a few months after their installation. We were delighted by the mature and professional way that we were treated, even though many times we overreacted when things went wrong in the building process. Especially after dealing with many other contractors, we are happy to report our complete satisfaction with every aspect of our business relationship with Prestige. I purchased a front door and windows from this company last summer . The installation was in November 2022 and at that time a frame of the front door came bent and one of the windows installed cracked a week after installation. It is February and unfortunately no one in the company has been able to give me a date of when the new parts will be installed. I'm still waiting. read more

The process started out nice with Prestige, I was replacing all my windows and many doors. The sales experience was smooth and low pressure. After signing the contract I had to continually followup with them to make sure permits were applied and the order was place. It took about 4 months just for them to place the order. When the order finally arrived, they scheduled the installation to start the day of delivery. They delivered all of the windows but the front door was missing. I had to call to find out where that was and they delivered it the next day. The installers were very nice and respectful, however they did not speak any english so communication was a challenge. I had to always work through the project manager who was not on site all the time. One window was way too small so I told them they needed to order the correct size. It took another 2 months for the window to arrive and be installed. I suspect other windows were not the right size but it appears they did a nice job building out around the window opening with wood, hopefully it holds up to a hurricane. The reason they are only getting 3 stars is that the job is still not finished after 9 months since I signed the contract. One window has a "pressure crack" in the corner that they said needs to be replaced by the manufacturer. Another window has an issue with the tint so it is very cloudy to see through, again they are saying the manufacturer will need to replace it. There is also a broken latch on one of the doors and a dent in the metal trim. All of these issues I told them about 3 months ago and they have said they will address them but I am still waiting. read more

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PEOPLE!!!! Worst company in town, they pretend to be the manufacture and they are just a third party vendors that are scamming people. PLEASE STAT AWAY - I just did a job with them and they also did a horrible installation, worst customer support. so disappointing by this scammers; also did a research on them and they were banned from home trade shows because of their horrible reputation. read more
