I had see BumbleBee Skincare and waxing on my way to and from work and just passed it thinking parking would be inconvenient. However, I made a hassle free appointment using the MindBOdy app and realized they have free parking around the corner. I was a little skeptical initially so I only booked an under arm appointment. When I entered the business, I was brightly greeted by their amazing front desk associate. She was kind and professional. I really miss that quality of care in customer service but had become accepting of it. This was a great change. I was also happy to feel taken care of by a very knowledgable professional. I happen to ask how long they've been in business and was not surprised to find out it was 19 years. You can really tell when a business care for their employees and their well being. I really wish I had started my waxing experience here. The wax or method they use is fast, effective and pretty much painless. I left happy and with a wonderful face scrub and was happy that I found a new home for waxing. It feels absolutely luxurious and spa like. I went home and booked a brazilian for the next day. The usual dread of certain areas that are usually very painful were unperceived by the conversation. My surprise at how efficient and fast my wax was left me beyond grateful and knowing I'd found a new go-to place. I was beginning to think I would stop It wasn't until my hairdresser recommended Blink Beauty Studios that I decided to give lashes one last chance in hopes of finding my new go-to place. I called and made an appointment. It was easy and clear. I got a text confirming the time, date, service, and the name of the person who I was going to see. The first appointment I made was to get my uncomfortable lashes removed. I arrived early and was greeted, checked in and taken care of (I was asked if I wanted a drink). Aysia did my removal and to be honest, it felt like a consultation to get to know me and what my eyes do during and after lash placement. I was asked about my experience with my first lash artist and the second. The more questions I was asked, the more I knew I was working with serious professionals. It felt relaxing to just sit back and let the pros work. The next day, I went back to get my lashes done. I opted for a classic set with Tiffany. She was amazing to me. The lashes I had taken off had been poking my eye whenever I closed them and one of my concerns became Tiffany's. I talked to her about getting irritation under my eyes with the lashes I had them remove and she took the time to listen and was able to tell me the reason for the irritation. She proceeded confidently and I again relaxed knowing I was in great hands. At the end of my appointment, I felt fine, my left eye did water a bit but I had assured her that eye always did. I went home and had no redness whereas, in the previous place, I had redness for about a week and had eye drops in my eyes three times a day to help clear my eyes. I can safely say I have found my lash place and will look no where else. The pricing is great and the quality if OUTSTANDING. I truly recommend you go here if you want your natural lashes to stay healthy while you have beautiful extensions done by professionals.

I couldn't come in on the weekend due to a personal emergency, and they told me that if I didn't come in the day they saw my DM (a day late) they couldn't help me. I had an exam the next day. I couldn't drop everything and do my nails, especially when I anticipated that they would last 2 weeks, as every other gel set I have ever gotten has. Very upset. Used to love this place. Was hoping they would handle it differently and was disappointed. While they were nice, they didn't do a good job. Won't be going back.

But honestly, the most frustrating part was the experience trying to choose my color. I picked the color I wanted, and the nail tech switched it on me. When I told her that it was not the color I chose, instead of listening to me or correcting it, she argued with me. She first tried to tell me a glitter was the same color when it clearly was not. When I said I didn't want that, she then tried chrome and again insisted it was the same. I repeatedly explained that it was not what I wanted, and I felt completely ignored. At the end of the day, I am the customer paying for the service--I should be able to choose the color I want on my own nails. Between the crooked nails, not receiving the color I asked for, and being argued with instead of listened to, I left extremely disappointed. There are far too many great nail salons in Tallahassee to spend your money somewhere that leaves you feeling unheard and unhappy with the finished result.
