All the good technicians left. Only one of the original girls was there went i went. My gel manicure (that I paid $35 for) chipped by day 3. They also left all my cuticles on, didnt clip any skin, and left it all hanging there. I was already upset on day 1, but didn't want to push the new tech to do anything she wasn't comfortable with, as she told me she "didn't want to accidentally cut me" trying to remove them. I paid $72 total and left. By the weekend they all peeled off. When I sent them a message (with pictures) about this, they told me they "only guarantee their gel for 6 days". I couldn't come in on the weekend due to a personal emergency, and they told me that if I didn't come in the day they saw my DM (a day late) they couldn't help me. I had an exam the next day. I couldn't drop everything and do my nails, especially when I anticipated that they would last 2 weeks, as every other gel set I have ever gotten has. Very upset. Used to love this place. Was hoping they would handle it differently and was disappointed. While they were nice, they didn't do a good job. Won't be going back. read more

I went here to get an acrylic gel fill in and i really didn't have the best of time. It was really quiet and awkward inside the salon. My nail tech was being SOOOO rough with the little nail drill. I kept pulling away because it was painful and she still continued. Then when it came to doing the fill-in the powder wouldn't move and it just got clumped onto my nails. My nail tech seemed very inexperienced and didn't seem like she knew what she was doing at all. Total time to get a fill in was an hour and 40 minutes...... Never happened to me before. My gel also started to peel the day after i got these done. $40 down the drain. I will not be going here again. read more

My regular Nail tech of 4+ years suggested this place while she Is updating her location. She even suggested whom I should see, Cerena, and since I completely trust her I followed her "suggestion". When I tell you the experience was AMAZING!!!!! I have ZERO complaints. Cerena was wonderful and I will gladly go back to her. I got the Mai Tai pedi and I went on a Tuesday the normally $60 pedi was $45 and worth every penny and more. She even made sure to match my polish with my nails which my regular tech blended for me specifically. The facility is very clean and welcoming the staff is extremely friendly and helpful and makes you feel welcome. I will never leave my regular nail tech but I will have to "cheat" on her occasionally with her permission. You will definitely LOVE this place and PLEASE PLEASE go see Cerena men and women alike you will thank me later. read more

Unfortunately not every nail tech is as experienced as the next, which is unacceptable to consumers paying for a service. I've had my nails done and absolutely loved them when Cerena did them, but she didn't show to my last appointment and I was assigned to Mimi. The first time, my nails were ok.. when I got my fill, I completely wasted $120. Three of my nails lifted completely off after 6 days, the "ombré" for nails is nonexistent, and I was burned by the nail drill at least several times. I just got a gel manicure at Bellezza Beauty Bar and I had a wonderful experience. I believe Tiffany was my nail technician, and she did a great job! I had originally picked out a gel color to match my bridesmaid dress, but when she started to put it on, she realized the color was a little different than the picture I showed her. She brought out a different color that she thought would be perfect, and it was! I just got home and it matches my dress perfectly. The quality of my nails are also really great! Tiffany was also really sweet and easy going! She kept checking in to make sure she wasn't hurting me when cutting my cuticles and to double check that I liked the color she suggested. Honestly i used to be a very loyal customer of Belleza but ever since moving to the new location i have sat in that chair and noticed a lot of negative energy in the salon when it was at the call street location it was a much nicer vibe between employees but since expanding and getting bigger it almost feels like you're walking into heavy energy and animosity between workers- not to mention i am one to pay heavy for nails but sometimes the quality simply does not hold or little imperfections are just overlooked and when you pay 120 dollars for a set any imperfections should be gone but overall you can very much find an independent nail tech and very much pay less for the same quality. Don't just take it from me but from everybody who i know who used to go and stopped because independent nail techs do a better and more affordable job with the plus of a chill environment. Made a last minute appointment to replace my eye lashes with a new full set. Was in town for a wedding from Chicago, and they accommodated me with 30 minutes notice. I went on a Friday to get a fresh set of acrylics and cluster eyelash extensions. Jessica did a wonderful job on both nails and eyelashes. She really took her time and made sure the shape of my nails were near perfect. And the eyelashes were not painful at all and they looked great! Unfortunately, it was Saturday night and the eyelashes were already coming off on the outside of both of my eyes. She told me to keep them dry for 48 hours and I did. She also told me I could come back if it was within 48 hours and she would fix the lashes if they had fallen out for free. Sunday came along, and the jewels off of my nails were beginning to fall off. Which was also chipping the gel polish off with it. Jessica told me I could come back anytime no matter how many times and they would fix that free of charge. Unfortunately, I work in a hospital and was unable to come back within 48 hours and get the lashes fixed free of charge because of my on call schedule. It's now Monday morning, and the rest of my lashes came off. So lesson learned the lashes are not meant to last a week or two like she said, more like a weekend. But I will most definitely continue to be a customer there for my acrylic nails because she did a great job. read more

Had an appointment for acrylics but they were short staffed and I waited a little over an hour, but let me tell you these are the absolute best nails I have ever had. They are thin and shaped so perfectly. While I did not get any designs the other clients were getting beautiful designs. I was very impressed. Being from Jacksonville it was never hard to find someone to do my nails and do them correctly but when I moved to Tallahassee, finding a great nail tech was hard! I usually go to Cindy at Tal nails on Monroe but due to her absence I decided to try bellezza. The environment was nice and clean and the staff were very friendly! And I will admit I LOVED my pedicure (although my cuticle was accidentally clipped) It was honestly the best one I've had in Tallahassee! She took her time and had heavy hands which i love; however, my nails were HORRIBLE! I got my nails done on a Wednesday, these pictures were taken Saturday. I went to the only man that works there and boy did I learn my lesson. My nails were lifting on the sides 2 days later, and the acrylic just doesn't look natural, they're definitely bulky! There were chunks of acrylic left UNDER my nails, some i was able to pick off myself and The shape is OFF! I even showed him images from their own page of how I wanted my nails! Talk about expectation vs reality. i got them done on my birthday so i didn't even have time to have them fixed! Horrible job for $55!!! I have seen people come out with decent work so i obviously went to the wrong person but For the reputation bellezza supposedly upholds i expected EVERY nail tech to be equally skilled. If you're okay with mediocre nails then this is a good place to go. I on the other hand want someone to do an extremely good job because I am paying them to do so. I had one nail technician who did a decent job and I was satisfied. But overall with my experience there, the job is rushed and subpar. I got a fill and it was NO WHERE near my cuticle line. I might as well have not gotten a fill. Even the polish jobs are rushed and poorly done and I have had to go home later and fix it/redo it myself. The cost is several dollars more than other nail places and they are doing a poorer job. The location is prime but the quality of work isn't worth the convenience. read more

I have been to this salon multiple times and I have never left loving my nails, but most times I was okay with them. The past time I went, I left very displeased. My nail color is very faint and you can barely tell I had my nails done. The color was not the same as depicted on the plastic nails. I called to see what my options were to fix this and was told if I come in in the next 2 days I could have only 10% off the service. I just paid $55 for my nails I'm not doing that again. I am very unsatisfied and would not recommend this place to anyone. Also if you think you will have plenty of options for dip colors you are wrong. Best nail salon ever! Such a fun atmosphere and the nail techs are attentive and creative. Normally I get plain nails, but they brainstormed different ideas with me. They're patient and it doesn't feel like they're just trying to rush you out the door. Thursdays are 10% off for students and the prices are competitive.
