(there was no sink in the room so he didn't wash his hands prior to touching him either). Dr.Shelly also lacked compassion and quite literally spoke to me and my husband like we were stupid when we didn't know certain things(once again both of us are new parents). After our visit with the Dr we were brought out to be charged for the visit but the front staff lady was too busy speaking to a coworker to acknowledge us so we had to go with another front staff member to be charged. We went here one more time and once again we were disappointed with the service since we had to wait more than 20 minutes after our booked appointment to be seen. Today i called to cancel my upcoming appointment and was met with sass from the front office staff who picked up the phone and then was hit with a random bill "for Dr.Shelly seeing us at the hospital" Dr.Shelly came to my room all of two times and only spoke to me and my husband not once did he actually check on my son and i know this because my son stayed next to us at all times, even when he got blood taken out my husband went with my son. I'm assuming we are only getting hit with this bill in retaliation of us no longer wanting to come to this clinic. Please spend your money else where because this clinic isn't worth it.

We have seen Dr. Mitchell since my oldest was a newborn. I trust Dr. Mitchell with my sons' lives! I am a very anxious mom and my brain tends to catastrophise any new medical symptoms, but Dr. Mitchell has never dismissed my concerns and always takes time to explain things to me in a calming and reassuring manner without minimizing my concerns or making me feel ashamed for my intrusive thoughts. Never dismissive, never condencending, never once has come from a place of ego in instances when I have pushed back on his assesment/dignosis. Dr. Mitchell always says "you are the expert on your own child" and will agree for additional testing if I don't feel at peace with something regarding my children's health. I have never once in all these years felt rushed or unheard during our appointments or phone calls. Dr.Mitchell just deeply cares for his patients and goes out of his way to make their parents feel best equipped to care for them and guide them. I drive from Allen to FLP in Dallas no matter how bad the traffic may be, and will continue to do so no matter where we move next across the DFW metroplex. Additionally, in 8.5 years we were always seen the same day for sick visits. Some other excellent doctors at FLP we have seen for sick visits include Dr. Clark, Dr. Kravitz and Dr. Strong. In 8.5 years, we have only waited to be seen ONCE for longer than 30min. We have also only had positive experiences with the front desk staff and nurses. Side note for any anxious moms like me: best to skip scheduling with Dr. Tang. I am sure she is extremely qualified in medical expertise, but she leads with the worst case scenario. I am still scarred from taking my children to see her twice.

FLP has been a great home base for us, and we have always received excellent care. I highly recommend any of the doctors in this location.
