The food is fantastic. The bread is especially delicious. May take a little bit for the food to come out but it's definitely worth it.

That level of hospitality never dropped throughout the night. It truly felt like the entire team was working together to create the best possible experience, from quickly clearing empty plates to refilling water and even adding freshly grated parmesan without us having to ask. We started with the Carpaccio di Manzo, and it set the tone for the entire meal. The truffle oil tied the dish together perfectly--rich, balanced, and absolutely delicious. For our mains, we ordered the Pappardelle di Limone with shrimp and the Fettuccine ai Frutti di Mare in pomodoro sauce. Both were phenomenal. The lemon cream sauce on the pappardelle was to die for--bright, smooth, and incredibly flavorful--while the seafood fettuccine was just as impressive. Honestly, this might have been the best pasta I've had in my life. Our waitress, Sophia, was phenomenal. She was incredibly attentive, sweet, and knowledgeable about the menu. She answered all of our questions with ease and helped guide us through our indecisiveness, which made the experience even more enjoyable. For drinks, my sister had a non-alcoholic wine and I had a Malbec--both were delicious. Before dessert, we also enjoyed a cappuccino and a single espresso, which were the perfect way to wind down the meal. We ended with the Torta di Ricotta e Pistacchio, and it was just as memorable as everything before it. The texture was perfect--spoon cut right through it effortlessly--and the dulce de leche sauce complemented it beautifully. I genuinely can't get over how good the food was, paired with such friendly and attentive service. Casa Pasta exceeded expectations in every way. I'll definitely be back.

It was in the mid afternoon on a Sunday and there was a light crowd. It started getting busy as we left. There is a prix-fixe menu offered daily. It consists of a choice of soup or salad with a main course. We got a couple appetizers to share and the restaurant provided complimentary garlic bread. The Beggars Purse was one of the appetizers and the pasta was filled with pear and goat cheese topped with a white truffle cream sauce. I got the Caesar salad and the pappardelle alfredo for the main course. The pasta had a lot of creamy parmesan sauce and it was way too much for me at once, so I took the rest of it home for leftovers. The service was excellent. Our waiter was friendly and he checked on us periodically to make sure if we needed anything else. I found it surprising that the food didn't taste as flavorful as I thought it would be. It was an overall good experience despite the expectations.

Located in a small shopping plaza, we probably drove by over a hundred times over the years and didn't even realize Nonna's was here. We were seated at a "bar table" overlooking the kitchen. This gave us the opportunity to look at everything people ordered. After ordering some great priced drinks we started with a Margarita Pizza. Really good with the "pure" taste I've experienced from better places in Chicago, New York and even Italy. The basil, tomatoes and cheese were tasted separately but came together so nicely. The crust was really good as well. We also ordered "zesty herb roasted chicken wings". They were good and had a nice flavor from the chili spices. Nonna's was packed but the service was excellent. We really have to also try Nonna's for dinner sometime. All I can say is "so many restaurants, so little time.

My wife and I are in search of a good steak and cheese in the area. Sad to say, the best we could find is from Jersey Mikes. Jersey Mikes subs are very good, but you shouldn't have to go to a franchise to find a good one with all the New York restaurant owners in the area. Anyway, in our opinion, DaVinci's steak and cheese has the rest beat, hands down. We added green peppers and a side of mayo to the onions and mushrooms. First off, it weighs about 4 pounds (slightly exaggerated but close). It's huge, and delicious. Really nothing more needs to be said. The flavor is excellent, and the bread is perfect. * I don't know if the bread is made in house, but it's very good. We also crave Calamari which can be hit or miss when ordered at a restaurant. Although the rings were not huge, they were plenty big enough, and (like the steak and cheese), the portion was huge. The Calamari they serve doesn't get much better. Just the right amount of crispy batter, and very tender. The accompanying marinara sauce has great flavor. I do get a bit excited when we discover a really good restaurant. There's a lot to choose from in the area, but not that many I consider to be great. DaVinci's has been around for a long time, which says something for its quality. It's a bit of a whole in the wall (my kind of place). You walk though the front door to a very tight counter area where they're cooking pizzas, and managing take out orders (which were flying out the door left and right). You might have to wait a few minutes while the girl at the counter, or one of the wait staff acknowledges you as they were very busy on a Saturday night - and no front host area. Was starting to get a little frustrated with the wait, but it was OK. There were 2-3 large tables filled with people but there were several booths available. The place is small, and you can tell the place has been around for 40+ years. It's nothing fancy, but it's quaint, and has a lively atmosphere. You can tell the patrons are regulars, and the wait staff and all have been there for a while. Even though we have not tried other dishes on the menu, you can tell it's all going to be good, We can't wait to go back to try some actual Italian dishes - and we know where we're going for Cheese Steaks from now on.

Your entree will come with a delicious soup (lentil soup tonight, which was hearty and beautiful). We had the Angel Hair with mushroom sauce and the Shrimp Sorrento. The place has been there for a while and it's part of its charm.
