Tiny storefront slivers just off Oxford Road in SoHo. Not as large a selection as some other Prets, but the same happy staff and high quality foodstuffs. Seats by the window looking out at the sidewalk traffic. If you're looking for organic, fresh and freshly prepared victuals, you can't go wrong here. It will cost a few pence more if you're eating in (thanks, Tax Man!), but on a cool, drizzly afternoon such as this one, it can be a welcome respite. Stop in and chill out!

Pret a manger is everywhere in central London. It has a diverse menu and is perfect for a quick snack or bite. Apart from sandwiches, there are some hot foods too, which really go quickly because they put out a few at a time to ensure the freshness of the food. Soups are really nice and hot. Wonderful for a quick pick me up during the winter sales. Wish they have this in America....Luv this place so much!!!

Visiting London from the US. I had eaten in Pret when I visited New York and completely fell in love with it. Knowing that Pret is original from UK, I decided to at least try here once when I'm in London. It turned out I ate here (in different location) for breakfast, lunch, and dinner in a day. My diet is kind of limited and strict to less processed food, so I am always scared that I can't find the food I usually eat when I travel. Glad to have pret everywhere so I can still watch my diet when I'm not cooking. ;)

Yummy treat before a day at the British Museum

Not the worse burger I've had, not the best either. But too…read moregreasy and the fries portions are really small.

Most overrated place ever... I kept seeing long queues outside this place for ages and I really…read morewanted to see what all the hype was about. There's 3 main burger options and then you add all the toppings you like to customise your burger. While my boyfriend asked for all of the toppings I asked for the plain bacon cheeseburger as I wanted something simple. I obviously tried both options and they were equally disappointing. My boyfriend's burger was juicier than mine for to the peppers and onions that made it taste more fresh, while mine was a mass of meat and plastic-y cheese that I can easily dub 'the artery clogger' because it felt like I'd need a double bypass after eating it. Not to mention that the bacon was bone dry and crunchy, borderline burnt to a crisp and breaking in crumbs when you bit into it. Honestly worst bacon I've ever tried. To be honest the variety of toppings was very underwhelming as the choices were something you expect from a basic burger (mayo, onions, tomatoes etc). With gourmet burgers in your average pub offering avocado, egg or pulled pork and even your local spoons burger coming with onion rings, Five Guys is really not bringing anything new to the table. The skin on chips were enough to vaguely justify the £4 and they were decent so I was happy with them. However, my highlight was getting free pints of water which on its own says a lot about what this place has to offer. This place is a glorified Mc Donald's with pretty much the same quality as far as flavour or texture are concerned and five times the price to fool you int thinking it's a real restaurant. I do not intend to go back there again as it was a complete waste of money to eat something basic and unhealthy.

Five Guys - Banana milkshake to die for... It's so thick that even with only a little left the straw stays upright!
