This Pret is located in the VERY busy, VERY chaotic food court-like area of Terminal 5 at Heathrow (nearish gate A9). The queues to check out are all over the place, so just get yourself in front of their counter somewhere somehow and you'll eventually get to the cash register (to their credit, the staff does a great job at making eye contact and calling people up to make sure the lines always move quickly; if you're not paying attention, though, they will skip over you!). I tend to skip the coffee here, but I do appreciate that they always put a sticker on my Iced Americano saying that it was made with soy milk. Little reassurances like that when you're unsure if you were heard because you're in such a loud space really makes a difference! I always get the same thing because it's super reliable (and makes me feel like I'm doing something healthy for my body during long transatlantic flight days): Humous & Falafel Mezze Salad. It comes with four sweet potato falafel balls, a dollop of humous, a sprinkle of pomegranate seeds, a scoop of brown rice topped with fresh mint and parsley, a little pickled cabbage slaw, sliced cucumbers, and fresh greens served with a side of sesamey/lemony dressing. I ordered a matcha latte, pumpkin spice latte, chicken basil wrap, meatball wrap, and a croissant, all for about £28. While the service was quick, both lattes were underwhelming--the matcha flavor was barely noticeable, and there was too much foam. The wraps, which were more like tortillas, were quite dry and tough to bite into. The croissant was definitely the highlight of the meal. Quite a chaotic and busy location as everyone gathers here to wait for there gate information. Oat milk latte was pretty standard and tasted good. Condiments like sugar are at the back of the cafe and that took awhile to find before we could stand and have the beverage. No place to sit so there are tables where one can stand and enjoy. read more

I loooooveeeeeee Pret. Always delicious and they have a wide range of delicious and wholesome items to choose from. While traveling to and from Egypt I was able to enjoy two meals from this Pret location and it was basically a lifesaver because I was able to get a salmon salad, a ginger shot, some muesli and a few other snacks to hold me over until I landed and could get a proper meal. It was super busy both times with a long line that moved quickly and efficiently and the staff at the register were buzzing with activity and movement to get lattes and drinks out to folks. Love! I love Pret and the Heathrow location did not disappoint. I had a longer than expected layover in the airport and stopped by Pret to get a coffee and quick snack. The service was very efficient with the counter having two separate lanes for ordering. The staff was very attentive and cordial and the sitting location is a very comfortably place to hang out while waiting for a flight. There is a starbucks right across but Pret has more variety of food and coffee and therefore should be the obvious choice! read more

Food quality is consistently good everywhere, and it's location at Heathrow terminal 2 is well managed - always 5-6 counters open so you're not left waiting for more than 5 minutes to pay. The cold and hot sandwiches and soups, juices and breads are well-stocked, and once you reach the cashier, you are greeted by more baked temptations ~ they sure know how to get you to buy more (and eat more)! There is also a standing area off to the side where you can consume your light meal solo, or with a group, with an opening in the rectangular table top for your belongings (better than putting them on the floor and risking someone else snatching them without you looking). Also, their pricing is cheaper than Hong Kong locations - Pret U.K. price £3 for two halves of a sandwich as opposed to just one half in HK... My wallet likes! read more

From reading reviews of other Pret A Manger locations, it seems there must be as many Pret A Mangers scattered throughout London as there are Starbucks scattered throughout Seattle in the States. Pret A Manger prides itself in selling fresh salads, soups and sandwiches, all healthy with no preservatives or added chemicals, all made fresh, on-site, every day. On this day I was looking for a place to grab lunch before my flight. I stopped here and had the avocado and mozzarella salad, and had the Pure Pret Still - Lemonade. Both were tasty and very fresh. Total came to 6.39 pounds, or about $10.50 USD with the exchange. I wish they had these sandwich shops in the US, I'd be a regular customer! read more

This eatery being smack in the middle of Heathrow's international terminal, they have a constant flow of passengers stopping in, and man did they keep their food stocked. There were employees all around straightening and restocking with fresh-made sandwiches the whole time we sat and waited for our gate number to be assigned. I had their Chicken Pesto Wrap. I was expecting it to be way too much bread and a 1oz wimpy piece of meat and cheese that would not be noticed after you have to doust it with ketchup or Italian dressing (since my home airport seems to never really offer a wide selection condiments) on a thick, dense bun that's overwhelming. Not so at PAM! Actually, it was the exact opposite. Besides fresh made sandwiches, they offer fruit and veggie salads, and hot sandwiches made to order at the counter. Pret A Manger was a very easy stop to go to during our travels in and out of LHR terminal 5. We were a bit hungry after traveling, and wanted to grab a quick snack here before our catching our connecting flight out. They have a large selection of grab-and-go food and beverage items, so the hardest part coming here is making a choice for what you want. I think we decided to try out a chicken and avocado sandwich and another sandwich that I think was similar to a BLT. Both very tasty and pretty fresh, but I think I preferred the BLT one because it had more flavor and was a little tastier to eat. It does tend to get a little crowded here, but there are enough registers open so that you don't have to wait in line for very long. A great place to grab a quick bite while waiting between flights. I rolled into Heathrow at 6:30AM after a 7 hour flight and was particularly ravenous. I grabbed a Hoisin Duck Wrap which would turn out to be my favorite one of the entire trip (I love duck. Don't judge). That's the beauty of Pret, and this location is no exception. You get in, you grab a delicious morsel, you get it out. Like many other places in the airport, they accept pounds, Euros, and dollars so no need to incur costly foreign transaction fees on your credit card even if you haven't made it to the currency exchange yet. read more

Wouldn't normally bother to review a Pret but this place deserves it. I roll through LHR a few times a year and whenever I stop off here the staff are always super friendly and welcoming. Almost all the other airport eatery and shop staff are grumpy but for some reason everyone who works at this Pret is always in a good mood and up for a quick chat. Always a decent vegan or veggie sandwich option and I grab some fresh fruit to help my body through the long haul flight trauma, but the food is just the same as any other Pret. Despite the sandwiches being pre-made in a refrigerated case, mine was actually pretty darn good! The only thing you buy from behind the counter are pastries & coffee/tea. The staff were friendly. Even though the lines were really long, they were moving quickly. I'd definitely go here over anywhere else at the airport if you see the ratings that the other restaurants received here I also thought that the prices were pretty comparable to this chain outside of the airport too. Pret is everywhere in London and they are all pretty much the same. I love the healthy range of pre-packed foods they have, especially the falafel box and the teriyaki salmon box. They also have a few hot foods like soup and have the calorie and nutritional information on everything. Pret is a chain coffee shop, very similar to places like Cafe Nero, Costa and Startbucks. I like Pret the best as I find that it beats the others in terms of healthy food choices. The coffee is average but the sizes are large and it's fairly cheap. The service is mediocre at best, but for convenience and getting something quick before you fly, it's great. read more
