I went to Christeena for the first time in January for an awards event, and her professionalism, communication and skills blew me away! Not gonna lie, sometimes, a deal *is* too good to be true, quality and/or worth your time. She was clear in her instructions, prompt and her end product stunned me... (and everyone else!!!) I've had lashes done in expensive salons in BK, cute boutiques in SF and even living rooms (yeah, that one was a mistake...) and then found a great lash technician who had twins and shut her business down. I found Christeena online, and to be honest--- didn't know what to expect! She showed me her portfolio, assured me that time is valuable to her too, and her Culver City shop was easy to get to with AMPLE PARKING. Yall. Ample. (Plus, there is a taco place across the street... excuse me while I shout HALLELUJAH!!!") I digress... she got me in and out, the lashes looked natural (like I like), I got to take a nap (#mamasknow) and the lashes lasted a LONG time... like at one point, I was optimistic that maybe my lashes had grown that long, cause they weren't coming ou---- oh wait. nah. my bad. Her studio is very clean and hygienic, she is genial and efficient, and she really cares how you feel about the work. I've been going to her ever since, and I am hooked. Go. Tell your friends. Take bomb selfies. Don't use Face-Tune. Maybe just find your light and let your lashes do the rest. read more

Comfortable, quick and beautiful lashes! I loved going to Christina. She had a nice cozy set up for me with a blanket and heater (It was POURING rain today) and I was comfortable in my space right away. She was very attentive to what I wanted while also giving some great tips and info along the way. I also love that she had music playing! The best part, it was quick! I am one of those people where if I lay too long I start getting extremely restless & dizzy. So the fact that it was quick and still had an amazing outcome meant the world to me! Zero stars if I could. No professionalism at all. I have been getting eyelash extensions continuously for 8 months and never had such horrible experience. She glued eyelashes to my eye rim (NOT MY EYELASHES). My eyes got infected and irritated and lashes fell off in chunks. I tried to contact her and she ignored my calls and texts and Instagram messages (even after she read them). I thought I'd be nice and give her some time. But she never replied and blocked me. She didn't even have the courtesy to offer to remove my lashes. I had to go somewhere else to remove them and my eyes were red from her work. Do not go here. Pay a little more for good quality work. Her prices are cheap just like her service is. Will be reporting her for my eye infection. My experience was similar to Amanda's. She will be going to San Diego soon. I'm waiting outside the salon & get a call 15mins later that she left the key to the salon at home and can't honor my appointment that day. I was annoyed but shit happens, whatever. Finally get a hold of her to make an appointment (she's super hard to reach), finally get an appointment that I literally rearranged my whole damn day for. I probably (definitely) shouldn't move work around for lashes but I was desperate since I had like 4 dangling off and my work has a lot to do with image... who's gonna trust the art director with bad lashes? Not even an hour beforehand I get a text - "Double booked myself today. I'm free tomorrow" ??? Not even a sorry or anything. Told her that she messed up my day and she goes "Ok". So incredibly disappointed with my experience here. That last review about Christeena's poor customer service skills is on par with my experience. Christeena was nice initially, but during my appointment she started pressing down on my undereyes really hard and I flinched, then she did it again and I flinched again. Didn't say sorry. Instead, she said "Your bottom lashes aren't secured down, so they're getting stuck to your top lashes." Thanks for explaining that to me, but whose fault is it that they aren't secured down? I wasn't upset about that when it happened. I understand that mistakes happen, so I let it go. In retrospect, her response to that incident coincides with her refusal to take responsibility for her mistakes, which I will go into detail about. My lashes looked good and I was happy after the appointment. The next day, however, I noticed a giant gap on the inner corner of my right eye. I sent pictures to Christeena and I explained that I followed the aftercare instructions and have had eyelashes in the past and don't typically have retention issues. She read my message (on instagram) and didn't reply. I figured she was busy, but then I noticed she was still posting. I gave it a day and reached out to her again because even more gaps started appearing and I told her that my coworkers noticed too. Again, she read my message and didn't respond. This was just a few hours ago, but at this point, I don't trust her ability to place lashes because I realized how poor the application was. I added a picture of my fallout and as you can see, a HUGE clump of lashes was added onto my tiny lash! I don't have strong lashes and my lashes are super thin. As an eyelash tech, she should know better than this. Her prices are cheap, but there's a reason for this. Don't come here if you want to waste your money and end up ruining your lashes. I don't want to support someone that doesn't value her customers enough to fix her mistakes or even apologize. read more

First time I came, I fell in love with my lashes, then came back for a fill a week and a half later, which by the way depends on your own lashes and self care but I didn't really need that much of a touch up, and I was just getting compliments left and right. LOVE my lashes! I found this business on IG and all of the pictures were of beautiful long lashes and great brows! I definitely wanted to try the services as soon as possible. I booked my appointment through IG which was very easy and fast. The day of my appointment I walked in and Christeena was ready for me. I filled out paper work and within a few minutes I was ready to start. She asked me what look I was going for and explained the different types of lashes, length and curl. I knew nothing about lashes so I let her know she could try what she thought would work. Once I laid down to start she explained everything she was going to do and asked if I was comfortable. I was! Then she began working. She talked me through the experience and we had a conversation while she worked. Before I knew it she was done. Maybe a total of 45 min. I finally opened my eyes and the lashes were AMAZING!! They look full and long and were so soft! I thanked her and she gave me a little care kit for my lashes once I was leaving. Price was exactly what you see on IG. I went to work the next day and got sooo many compliments on my lashes. I've had them on for 9 days now and they are still looking like new.
