Getting my eyebrows microbladed by Emily was the best choice of my LIFE. I got my initial combo brow session in early February. I was due for my touch up in April, but unfortunately my appointment got cancelled due to the pandemic. We are now in June and my eyebrows are still looking BEAUTIFUL! Beware of "booking fees" I went to Emily back in December 2020/ January 2021. Her salon was clean, she was very organized and explained the whole process very well. As I was getting my brows done, however, I felt like my eyeballs were going to burst. She pressed on them super hard with her hand as she was doing them. I thought it was normal since she does this for a living so I didn't say a word. When she was done, my eyes were sore, I thought my eyebrows were really nice the color was just a little too reddish for my liking, but I thought she knew best and overall I was happy. Then about a year and a half later, I had to book my annual. I paid $100 "booking fee". About a week before my appt I took a pregnancy test and it was positive. I was so happy, I texted her to let her know and she said it's ok no problem we'll reschedule. Sadly, I had a miscarriage a few weeks after that. A few months later I finally felt better, and I reached out to Emily to set up an appt. She requested another $100. I didn't realize that her "booking" fee was non-transferable even for circumstances out of my control - like being pregnant. I am aware that she has it plastered all over her website now that there are no exceptions. But still, Its the principle of the thing that bothers me. I ended up getting pregnant again around the time I would have re-booked the annual so I was thankful I didn't send her another booking fee or she would've pocketed another $100 for nothing when she could easily fill your spot with a single insta story. Well, I just got my brows done by another artist and im happy I did. I didn't feel like my eyeballs were going to burst, and their rescheduling policy is much more reasonable. As a mom of four, life happens and sometimes I have to reschedule. If this is also you - I'd find someone else. read more

I started getting my eyebrows microbladed by Emily about three years ago now, and I am so glad I did. I am a very detailed and in all honesty probably a frustrating client because of how particular I am. Each of the three times I've visited Emily for my brows, she has been nothing but patient and willing to do everything I ask of her, never rushing me to make a decision or pushing her opinion on me. As for the brows themselves, I love the shape and the color. I have light blonde eyebrows and strawberry blonde hair so I was super nervous about them matching my hair but Emily did an amazing job of selecting and custom mixing the perfect shade for me! Awful experience. Went for an annual touch up. My brows were originally done by another artist who since moved out of state and Emily was her recommendation. No consultation, nada. No mapping, marking or cleaning up of the brows first. She just started tattooing, numbing cream didn't seem to take. I had no issues last time so not sure what the issue is. Appoint took maybe 30 minutes with 10 of that waiting on the numbing cream. She even said she was going to touch up the right side again after the '2nd round' of numbing, but never did. I was already super uncomfortable. Didn't even offer a mirror at the end - it was more of a 'look in the mirror on the way out the door.' She completely ruin the shape. Now 4 weeks out, most of the color has completely fallen out and I followed the aftercare to a tee. Again, no issues on my first experience. From what I can gather she just didn't do it deep enough. Save your time, money and sanity and go elsewhere! Update: You did not in fact hand me a mirror afterwards because I found it extremely odd. I had to stand up, go look at the one next to the door only after you request payment. Unfortunately, not comfortable going for Saline procedure that you said you had never done in a next day scenario. Clearly we weren't vibing so I was super uncomfortable and talked out of going back by friends who heard about my experience. read more

Long overdue review, but I won't ever go back to Emily nor will I ever recommend her to anyone. She did my annual touch up, previously done by a seasoned brow artist. Long story short, she retouched my brows, no mapping, just went over it, but ended up changing the original shape and my desired shade. I specifically asked her for a lighter shade, but she decided to go against my request and applied a darker one. When I texted her about it, she claimed that it was the new light shade I requested--lies. The other artists I consulted confirmed she applied a darker shade. It took over a year for my brows to barely get to my desired shade. I honestly hated it. The worst part was she made the lines around my brows so close together that as time went on, I looked like I had an dark outline around my brows. I started consulting other artists to see when I can get them touched up again end of last year, and they refused to work on my brows until it's completely faded or I get it removed. It honestly sucks that I have to get a removal to have another artist work on my brows. And mind you, you need multiple seasons. If I could give zero stars, I would for lying to me. There are so many other good brow artists out there now, so I recommend you look elsewhere. If you want someone who will really listen and be humble about their work--seriously, look elsewhere. read more

Let me start off with I am not one to normally make a review on anything, BUT when somebody goes above and beyond and does the most amazing job it's a different story. I did my research on who I wanted to microblade my eyebrows for literally an entire year!! I had a few different girls recommended but after looking at their pages it just wasn't what I wanted. I'm so lucky to have found Emily! Her work is just what I wanted. The pictures she posted on her Instagram were extremely beautiful and clearly not edited as most are by other artists. Her page is straight to the point as far as results, reviews, pricing and more. The initial appointment I was SO NERVOUS. Walking in she immediately made me feel so comfortable! She takes her time to map out your eyebrows by hand, makes sure they symmetrical and most importantly makes sure you love them. This was the easiest and most pleasant process. She listened to my needs and did exactly what I was looking for. As for someone that spent so long everyday trying to fill in her brows and make them look somewhat okay, I can tell you this decision changed my life. I wake up with perfect brows literally everyday! Emily is amazing! I'm blonde and had ZERO brows, which I was always really self conscious about. I'd spend forever in the morning trying to create them with make up, but it always looked super fake and left me dissatisfied. Emily listened to all of my concerns and made me feel super comfortable throughout the entire process. After my initial session, I had a mini freak out because my eyebrows were so swollen, red, and dark- which I knew was normal for sensitive skin, but needless to say, I went into full panic mode!
