We've used Pretty Paws now for our last 4 grooms or so. My schnauzer has never looked better. He hates getting groomed, but it's necessary and Pretty Paws does a great job on him. We also sometimes bring my mom's schnauzer too when he's visiting from out of town. They made her dog look like a new pup! She kept commenting how fantastic of a job they did on him; and it's true. They also are beyond reasonably priced if not too low; make sure to always tip your groomers! They have a difficult and laborious job. I wouldn't have given them one star. We took our golden retriever for a bath and a "trim" with scissors to straighten out his feathers. I have included a before and after picture. When we got max back we were not happy and called the owner and we were told their was a miscommunication. There was not a miscommunication. We paid up front and they would not refund the fee but offered 20% off the next "trim". It only takes a minute to watch a youtube video on how to cut a golden's hair to know that you don't shave them because they have an over and under coat. I understand that taking a #1 guard and shaving my entire dog was a thoughtless and cheap way to make a buck and a scissor trim would take time , effort and frankly, talent. My wife took 4 of our dogs in for a bath and trim,trim their nails,3 of the dogs are beautiful longhaired daschunds,my wife went to pick them up,all 3 longhaired had been shaved.My wife said she watched the girl up front write down trim,but the groomer said she was told to shave them(she said she thought that was strange because they are so pretty)miscommunication seems to happen there a lot looking at reviews,blithering idiots!Would`nt go back if it was free! read more

The customer service showed they cared about my dog as soon as we were greeted at the front desk and I loved that , The receptionist literally picked up my big 6 month 60 lb bully up and kissed and rubbed him with compassion and i loved that affection. Our appt was at 9 we didn't get our dog back till 2pm that evening . The first thing I noticed my dogs shedding like a bad sew-in literally my fiancé whole shirt was covered in hair ( wasn't shedding this way before ) I could visibly see shedding hair rolling up on his back as I rubbed him greeting him back in our presents in my vehicle. He also still smells like I just washed him at home with dawn soap in my tub . His paws still looked dirty under his nails like he's been outside and we literally carried him to the car. Nails didn't seem to be trimmed. I'm not happy at all I spent 35$ on my baby before Mother's Day to surprise the world with pictures of my new paw son and im just glad it was just 35$ I canceled my petco appt for $61.00 because I was recommended due to our family's dog going there which happened to be my dogs mother but he looked nothing like her when he came home . Loved the cute bandana loved the staff but service for the time not worth it. This should be a 15$ service honestly , they show a sign of short staff services so I do thank the staff under hard times for still showing love to our fur babies but to whomever was the groomer if you were rushing please make sure you don't rush on the wrong mommies baby cause this mommies not happy at alll ! read more

Very disappointed! We have taken our chihuahua to get his nails done here several times. In the past the service was good. The last time we went there was a different woman at the front desk. I specified that I like his nails short, filed, and not to forget the dew claws. The nails were not filed and were VERY sharp. they only did one dew claw (not sure if they forgot the rest), and his nails were not short and had to be redone by another groomer in less than a week. They seemed more concerned about commenting on how small my chihuahua is (yes he is a full grown chihauahua that weighs less than 3 pounds) but I really just wanted his nails done correctly. I have taken my chihuahua to Petsmart in the past and they have done a better job. I prefer to give my business to local businesses but, this business will not be seeing us again since they can not provide quality service. read more

When I first called, I asked for a price. They told me they don't discuss pricing over the phone and I told them we had been there before. We paid around $40 for my baby to get a bath, hair cut, ears cleaned and nails trimmed, at the time he had never been to the groomers before and when we got him he was matted up. She said in that case we would for sure not be paying anymore than that this time around. When I come to get him, she asked if I was paying cash or card, I said card and she grabbed it and put it into the card reader on the iPad. I asked how much and she told me $84. I was furious! I asked why and she said "he was matted, and we've gone up on our prices" he gets brushed DAILY and if he had any mats it's from them putting him up WET during his bath. I told her they never told me about going up on their prices, and doubling the price is a BIG deal. When they brought him out to me he was shaved COMPLETELY which is not at all what I asked for, she told me during his bath they had to "put him up" because he was being too wild. He's been to other groomers before and I have NEVER had problems. Locking him up in a cage during his bath when he seemed to obviously been scared is unacceptable. I will never go back, and I encourage anyone who cares about their fur babies to do the same. read more
