A year ago this would have been Five Stars. The last two visits with my standard poodle have been Un Sat... For one thing, she never, ever stops talking. Can't get a word in edgewise. This will be the last time I call this business! I am typically picky with the groomer I take my puppy to, and due to the fact that my normal groomer was booked, I called Terry from Pretty Pets. (Anyone who loves their fur baby like I do will understand my pickiness!) Anyways, I was so excited to call after reading the all the nice reviews on how nice and accommodating she was, only to get on the line with her with the COMPLETE opposite treatment. When I initially called, she was extremely quick to tell me she had absolutely no time slots available until the 21st, and keep in mind today is only the 11th! How are you completely booked out for the next 11 days with absolutely no wiggle room? Even if that was the case, there was a nicer way you could've worded that! It just didn't seem right to me, and I wanted to address this issue to anyone else who is thinking of giving this place a shot. She is not accommodating whatsoever to people who are "prospective clients". I'm typically a very customer service oriented person, as I've worked the majority of my life in a customer service oriented position. And I understand the importance of providing customer service when working in a service oriented business. I had no reason to approach this individual in a rude/mean way, and am appalled at the response to me asking "Hi my name is Eric, and I was wondering if you had any available appointments for my puppy?" If you run a business, you should understand potential clients/new clients are the ones you should really focus on catering towards, as that call is typically the first impression they receive of your "business". read more

I just thought I would update my review. I'm still taking my dog to Pretty Pets and I am still pleased with the quality of work. I have a Sheltie - he was always shampooed and brushed really well. A few months back, we decided to cut his hair down so now he has about 1 or 2 inches of length and looks super cute. I like him with the shorter hair. I think he's happy with the shorter hair too, he seems to have a little more pep in his step. The owner is helpful and she seems to really care about my dog and it is very affordable. read more

We found Terry on Craigslist originally and could not have been happier. We have two Shih Tzus, Terry does and excellent job grooming them and is really sweet with the dogs. Everything is very clean and I can not say enough about what a great job she does on the boys. Believe me I was worried about taking the puppies someplace new... but this paid off in spades. She does the best job and is very reasonable which means I do not have to try to learn to groom them myself (THANK YOU!!). I have been bringing my dog here for over a year, I got another dog in the last few months who is very shy and she did a good job with her as well. She is very reasonably priced and the dogs coats are always so shiny and they smell great when I pick them up. It is also not as loud as some of the other groomers I have used in the past. read more

We love love love this women!!!! She gets our Great Pyrenees so fresh and fluffy! She has patience for days. Our boy can be rather stubborn, but she gets the job done! She also grooms our elderly Aussie mix. He has arthritis, and she is so gentle with him. My cousin and uncle also get their dogs groomed at pretty pets. She keeps her shop really clean. Her prices are really reasonable too. She's a few towns over, but definitely worth the drive. read more

I would never recommend this business. She butchered my puppy after I specifically asked for her to keep him long and just for a puppy cute he looks like a shaved old dog now. All the dogs she cuts turn out the same. I have had multiple experiences with her between 6 different dogs, three being my dogs and three a family friends pets. she shaves them all the same way. Then was rude and aggressive and literally screamed in my face when I confronted her. she told me she was going no to give me my money back then when I went back to get it she said she changed her mind and deserved to be paid. Horrible service. do not recommend and will never take me own pets there again. It looks like she maybe spent twenty minutes on him. His hair is not cut evenly it has many longer patches on his legs and throughout his body. Very very. Unhappy. read more
