I have been taking my GSD, Doc, here ever since his first bath as a puppy over a year ago now and we still go every month or two! He loves all the ladies here and they have made his experience wonderful and he loves to "go car ride for bath time" and "go see Amanda"! Thank you Amanda and Jenifer and all the other staff at K9Design!

    So even!

Sooo so happy with Bella's haircut! I drive about an hour to come to this salon. They are really friendly here and clearly love dogs. The amount of care and detail that they put into each service is seriously unlike any other groomers I've been to. Bella is 14 and a bit of a princess. With age her hair has grown faster, the texture is different, she has a a bladder problem, she has a heart condition, and she just gets tired quicker. Leaving her anywhere makes me very nervous but here I feel like she gets treated really well. It's very important that we keep her nice and pretty and although I sometimes fail her, I bring her in every few weeks and k9 design goes above and beyond for her. I think a newer person worked on her this time and although she was worried bc Bella made it a bit difficult to do her under area, she came out looking like a little model! She looks so good! I love the cut, the length is perfect, and she managed to get rid of a problem skin tag near Bella's mouth that Bella would just not let me or a vet help with. I really appreciate their help and care with Bella. She's my child and K9 design understands that. My family brings all 4 of our dogs here now. We love it here!

Staff was so friendly and they listened to everything that I wanted. Also got an appointment the next day when I called! Offered to take holiday pictures of my baby for an extra $20 and they turned out so cute!! Will definitely be coming back. He's the softest he's ever been.

Probably the best golden doodle groomer in the greater Seattle area. I drove from Seattle to get my pups hair done here and I'm so glad I did! Such a friendly group and exceptional at what they do. I'll be back again and would highly recommend anyone with a doodle who doesn't want their dog to be shaved completely to go here. Thank you so much!!

I can not give this place enough stars. First I called to see if they had anything available today, and they were able to fit me in right away. It was $130 for a deluxe bath, de shed, nail trim, ear cleaning and fur whitening. There was amazing communication. And the staff were so friendly and accommodating. They are a muzzle free facility which is very comforting as a doggy parent. I already made an appointment for my other pooch because I was so impressed! Thank you K9 Design!!!

Willow looking great after her appointment!

K9 Design Grooming Salon did such an amazing job on our little cockapoo Willow! Willow is a young and a bit anxious doggy, but K9 Design was able to make her feel comfortable and calm enough to do an outstanding job on her hair. We have tried other groomers, but each time she came back a mess and the excuse was because she was too nervous. This is the first time Willow came back looking perfect. K9 Design will absolutely become Willow's regular groomer. Everyone was so friendly and helpful and gave me tips on how to work with Willow on her anxious paw pulling and how to keep regular grooming cycles to keep Willow's fur looking great and healthy. Facility was also immaculate. K9 Design far exceeded my expectations and we are beyond pleased!

I was referred here by my neighborhood FB group and I'm so glad I gave it a try! I have two challenging doggos (a spicy chihuahua and a grumpy chiweenie) so they hadn't had their nails trimmed in way too long. This awesome staff let me hold them for comfort and patiently grinded their nails smooth. This a huge relief for me as they've been scratching up everything in my home and chewing their nails to the point of splitting. It was $20 each. We are excited to return every 4 weeks now, thank you, thank you, thank you!

Absolutely amazing family-owned groomer! We have an 11 month old Bichon Frise who we've taken to 2 other groomers before K9 Design Grooming Salon. The other groomers really just didn't compare to K9 Design and grooming. After we took him to K9 Design and Grooming, I've learned that it takes someone whose really familiar with Bichon/poodle hair and it takes a long time to groom with scissors to get that specific show-like Bichon look. Gayle was amazing in giving us tips on what we can do at home to maintain our puppy's hair; and ways to work with him in getting comfortable staying still during his grooms in the salon. I can tell that all the groomers in this salon are very patient and work so well with their fury clients. We drive from Kent East Hill to this location because we are always happy with how Hans' groom turns out, and how happy he is when we pick him up. I highly recommend this salon!

Lilly's successful first time at the groomers! Happy dog = happy owner

We took our 7-month-old Dachshund puppy, Chewy, to Soggy Doggy yesterday evening for a nail trim shortly before closing time, and unfortunately, the experience was very upsetting for both our puppy and us. During the nail trim, Chewy yelped multiple times in discomfort, which immediately concerned us. What stood out most to me was that the same nail appeared to be trimmed repeatedly several times, and each time Chewy reacted more anxiously and vocally. As a pet owner, I found it difficult to watch, and it left me feeling uncomfortable about the handling process. I understand that puppies can sometimes be nervous during grooming, and nail trims are not always easy. However, we have previously taken Chewy to other grooming establishments, including Petco and PetSmart, for nail trims and have never experienced this level of distress from him before. I was also surprised that during the nail trim, we were asked questions about Chewy's diet and food choices. While I understand businesses may offer additional services or products, I personally felt that the focus at that moment should have remained on carefully completing the nail trim and ensuring our puppy was comfortable and calm. At the end of the appointment, Chewy also left with a noticeable hangnail. We declined the nail buffing add-on service, but even so, I did not expect his nails to be left in that condition after the trim. Overall, this experience left us questioning the level of handling, training, and attention to pet comfort during grooming services. As pet owners, we trust groomers and staff with the safety and well-being of our animals, and unfortunately, this visit did not leave us feeling confident. Because of this experience, we will not be returning with Chewy in the future. I hope this feedback is taken constructively, as gentle handling, professionalism, and pet comfort are extremely important, especially with young puppies who are still learning to trust grooming experiences.

I was told she was offered a great deal for the rental and some homemade dog treats. Parking was a bit confusing as the parking nearby the business was full and there was a spot that we think was free to use but not sure. As we entered, we were greeted by a staff member who let us in and the space is huge! There were plenty of toys, a dog pool, and little obstacles for dogs to enjoy to their hearts' content! They even have a hose to fill up the pool or just have your dogs chase around. There were little cubbies and lots of areas to hang leashes, coats, and other stuff on. They had Youtube videos playing too. The dog treats were so creative. They had cannoli, biscuits, and much more. All of our dogs seemed to have enjoy the treats greatly, no treats were left behind. All of the dogs seemed to be enjoying themselves as they just had so much to do or other dogs to play with. Definitely look forward to coming back here to throw future dog parties as our group loves to do little events for our fur babies.

It made me wonder about the ratio balance between humans vs dogs. I had dropped my dog off for a behavioral assessment, as we have trips coming up and I'm looking for boarding care. This is not where I'm personally comfortable leaving my pup, as the ratio seemed to be 1 human to 15 or 20 dogs in an indoor-only, less than 1500sq foot space. The good news is they are so kind and nice humans, if I was rating them they'd earn 5+++ stars as I'd leave my dog in their care anytime! The problem I had was the physical space (super tiny!) and the ratio of dogs, as they allowed 3 or 4 pups to greet my dog while 15 or so were in a hallway-type space patiently waiting and sooooo well-behaved, to greet and play. The space for playing is very limited, about 1/2 the size of a classroom, and while it's clean and the staff are super lovely, it's probably not the best fit for our pup who loves to play fetch and run. Parking is also super tricky in this neighborhood, as there isn't a parking lot or spaces reserved for the business.

Our cat can have a bit of an attitude, what cat can't, but the staff at Paw Spa must be miracle workers because they groomed her no problem! She has gotten a "lion cut" both times and done very well. Both times the cut has been stellar with no missed spots. She came home smelling fresh with her claws trimmed. Was she a little mad at me? Sure. I chalk that up to being a cat in the 21st century. Paw Spa also passed the smell test. I have walked into so many animal centric shops that smell either like poop or industrial cleaner. This place smelled like shampoo and happy puppy. Or annoyed cat, as the case may be. As long as they are grooming cats, we won't be taking our little devil anywhere else!

Before, knowing that Bree was no longer working there and actually opened up her own groomers doggy spa I had scheduled to take my dogs as usual upon arrival, I was greeted by a lady named Amandaa come to find out. She is the owner. I was a little taken back because I was always greeted pleasantly by Bree. So I had asked is Bree in today and the first thing that I found unprofessional and rude because of the way it was said from this lady Amandaa she goes "oh Bree yeah she doesn't work here anymore and she opened up her new groomers right down the street without giving me notice. (In an unpleasant tone) I had got bad vibes from this lady because she was not warm or welcoming and she just seemed angry. With hesitation having a bad feeling of leaving my dogs there. She proceeded to be snobby as I was explaining to her about my dog's conditions with responses of I have been doing this 29 years. I know how to care for dogs and Saturdays are our busiest days she then grabbed my dog by the collar and immediately put him in a kennel which my dog has health issues and Bree is the only one who knows this and knows how to care for him so he was not used to that. Long story short I left feeling uneasy and not comfortable with doing so, but I had to turn around because my gut was not feeling right and I picked him back up and the first thing that came out of her mouth was really?? Well did you call Bree? And I politely said no I just don't have a good feeling and I would like my dogs back. For that reason since she has been doing it for years, I think she's quite over it with her attitude and I would not recommend bringing your dogs here. On a good note Bree opened up her own doggy groomers. About five minutes away. It is called DIVINE TIMING in LAKEWOOD. I brought my dog there today and he was so happy to see her and did very well even though he has seizures. He didn't have one seizure that should tell you a lot by How patient and caring she is towards animals. I would highly NOT recommend the Paw Spa and head over to DEVINE TIMING to see Bree .. tell her Selena and max sent you!
