Such an adorable boutique with an array of apparel, accessories, gift and novelty items for any occasion! I went in today to simply peruse the inventory and was delighted to walk out with three amazing items. If you're shopping for yourself or a gift for another person, please take a moment to check out the entire store. You will find both something you want, something you need and super cute gifts for friends. Also, if you don't really know what you need or want, the store associates will definitely help you and you'll walk out feeling fabulous darling! Also, you'll have made a few new friends. Side note: I stopped in back in May of 2017 to find a cute summer outfit for my college graduation and the associates were super helpful with pulling styles ideas for my event. So bummed about my experience this afternoon at Pretty Please. As a resident of Coronado I frequent the boutiques often. This afternoon we did brunch at the Crown Ballroom at the Hotel Del and decided to meander home, on the way back we stopped at Pretty Please. I saw the cutest pair of shoes and paid for them and wore them out of the store (with no disclaimer of "if you wear these out of the store you cannot return them"). I walked A BLOCK and my ankles began to bleed due to the strap on the shoe. We immediately turned around to return to the store, upon which we were greeted "back already?" And I responded with "yes I need to return these shoes I am bleeding because of them!". I was then told "we don't usually do returns on worn items..". To me that's admitting you sometimes make an exception. Unfortunately that exception wasn't made for me 10 minutes later with the shoes I walked out in. So I left the shoes there with the lady telling me I could give them to a friend (sorry lady I wouldn't even give these to an enemy... yes they hurt THAT bad). So this company took my money and the product back and I walked away 30 dollars poorer. Such a disappointment, leaving two stars because they do have very cute things but buyer please read the tiny print because it will not be made clear to you upon leaving the store with your purchase... read more

I love going to Pretty Please for their aromatic candles and their fun maxi dresses. Good variety and very friendly and helpful staff. My only complaint is the name of the store and the design on the bags... What happened there? read more

Oh man, how had I not written a review for this place?! This is my favorite spot to buy clothes. I don't live in the area, but every time I come to SD I make sure to come here to update my wardrobe. Just discovered this gem today while visiting Coronado during our weekend stay. Love this store! Lots of cute things and great brands. I wish there was a zero star review, or perhaps a negative star available. My wife has been here 3 times this month alone as we rent close by during the summer. The ultra snotty cashier offered my wife a resident discount for her purchases on her third visit. My wife's sister who was there and also rents close to the store overheard and inquired about an available discount after making her purchase. Frustrated and annoyed, the aforementioned snotty cashier was clearly bothered by the inquiry and rather than applying the discount to the purchase, she unwound the one applied to my wife's and charged us more money. Do yourself a favor and shop elsewhere. Save yourself money and avoid the aggravation of dealing with bitter lazy cashiers who enjoy making others as miserable as her. read more

I am sad I won't be going back to Pretty Please. I had an amazing, wonderful and enjoyable shopping day and even spent $600...not too bad! I've been traveling for work and just got back into town and needed to return a few items (less than $100 worth). I didn't want my money back, just a store credit. Unfortunately, the return policy is different than I am used to: you can get a credit if it is within 30 days, the item is still in stock and you have your receipt. Of course, my items are no longer in stock and I can't find the receipt. Even with tags still on you are still out of luck. I was told that they did market research to come up with their return policy; for me, it just doesn't work. I am very disappointed I won't be back. read more

I've been shopping at the Pretty Please stores for years now! And the Coronado location is by far my FAVORITE one!!! The ladies are so helpful, but not Pushy which I can't stand when I shop. Kelly and Natalie are my favorite girls to shop with! They always give me so many suggestions on how to wear an item and if it looks good or not. Awesome boutique...worth a trip to the island! Organized by color, there are a rainbow of shirts, blouses and tunics...some reasonable, some expensive, a rare few laughable. Of course, my favorite was $144...I don't think so. The one I bought was $36...oh, so much better. There's also a good selection of jeans, costume jewelry, and a mini-rainbow of camisole tanks. I wish there was a negative star, I would gladly give this boutique that rating ... as that is exactly what it deserves. With such snotty people working here, I don't understand how they are still in business. A retail business thrives on customer service and what I experienced this weekend was the worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life. I was humiliated and treated in an embarrassing manner, over a return that I was told over the phone previously I would be able to make. According to the lady on the phone I was within the 5 days to receive a full refund. When I went to the store I was told I could receive no refund or exchange. And this was told to me in a loud tone, while I was still in line waiting to get to the register, which was the humiliating part. No one else in the store was spoken to or treated the way I was... maybe I was a victim of racism, maybe I was a victim of discrimination, I guess I'll never know. Either way, I was a consumer who had made a purchase and should have been treated with respect as any consumer should. To make matters worse, I had both of my children with me and they too felt offended with the way I was treated. I will never step foot in this boutique or any of it's affiliates. read more

Terrible customer service! I went shopping there because they had a sales rack in front of the store with a sign that said 50% off marked price. I looked at the prices on the red tag, and asked the sales associate to clarify what the sign meant. She stated that it was 50% off the sale price marked in red on the tags. After I brought all of my purchases home, I realized that she overcharged me, and instead she only took 50% off the full price of the item, (which was actually more expensive than the regular sales price in red). I called the store to ask them to once again clarify the sale and she said it was 50% off the marked sales price on the tag. I asked her to adjust my receipt to match the sale, and she only gave me the original sales price. Buyer Beware! read more

While they do have a big selection a lot of the items are solid, so if you're a print girl you wont find many pieces here compared to other boutiques. Price point is okay, i found a few brands that carry for less elsewhere. The girls who work there acted like my friend and I weren't even in the store. No greeting, no asking if we needed anything, and when we were walking towards the door and said goodbye and thank you we didn't even get a response back, so that didn't make us feel welcomed at all. read more

Prices were a bit on the high side and it was confusing finding anything with everything sorted by color. All the long and short sleeve items were mixed in together and made it difficult. read more

the return policy is ridiculous...no store credit or cash back. you must exchange it immediately, if you don't have time...too bad! makes no sense to me. How is store credit not an option?
