It has a nice time range of drop off and pick up times which helps with Dad's schedule and ensures that I get to come home without delay. I like that we get an opportunity to play outside 90 minutes at a time, 3 times a day. The outdoor area is 1/2 covered and 1/2 in the sun, which gives me options in various weather conditions. Since I'm just a year old and under 40 lbs, the helpers also put me in the small doogie group with others my size, so we can play together. There is a separate area to go potty and plenty of time set aside to rest. The owner is friendly and answered questions quickly. After an interview, updated shots, and a 3 hour daycare trial , it was determined that I could come back here for an overnight stay. The 4'x6' kennels are big enough to get a good night sleep. It's a good thing Dad remembered the dog mat because the floors are concrete and would have been too cold for me. Glad we found this place because next to sticking to Dad and Mum like velcro, this boarding facility is a good fit when they can't be with me.

They are true animal lovers who care for my pets as I do. My dogs love them. They are also both active in the pet rescue and adoption community. This isn't just a job for them. All of my questions were thoroughly answered, and the advice and suggestions provided were very helpful. I especially appreciated how clearly everything was explained, making it easy for me to understand Queen's care moving forward. The bill was on the higher side, but I understand that many services were provided, and I appreciated the military discount. The staff was incredibly warm and welcoming, and everyone absolutely adored Queen in her little denim jacket and pearl necklace. She was definitely spoiled with cheese and some tasty treats. This clinic is truly a one-stop shop for us. I feel confident continuing care with Leslie as her vet, and I'm excited about the additional services like boarding for short trips and full grooming for her monthly spa treatments. I came to this clinic specifically because it advertised as "fear free," but my experience was the…read morecomplete opposite. My 6 year old, 65 pound German Shepherd mix has never cried at the vet in her life, until this visit. I specifically told the technician that my dog does best with blood drawn from her lateral saphenous veins (back legs), and that I've been present for previous blood draws where this worked great. They then take my dog to the back (which was surprising I thought they would do it in front of me.) Despite this, they ignored my input and drew from her jugular vein (neck vein) instead. There was no alcohol residue on her back legs, meaning they didn't even attempt what I requested. I heard her yelp in pain, something that has never happened before. The technician never informed me they would be performing a cystocentesis (inserting a needle into the bladder to collect urine). I only discovered this happened when the doctor mentioned it during a follow-up phone call. A cysto requires restraining the dog on their back and using an ultrasound to guide a needle into the bladder. For a 65-pound German Shepherd mix, this meant significant physical restraint, which is likely why I heard her screaming from the exam room. I also want it known that complications can happen after performing a cysto! So they did it without my consent and if something were to have happened I wouldn't have known to tell the ER. We didn't need to do a urine culture so it was completely unnecessary. When I asked about the different blood panel options, the technician struggled to explain and had to repeatedly reference his paperwork. He never mentioned that urine collection was part of the panel and he never said they would be collecting urine there through a cystocentesis. So the technician took my dog to the back to get her blood drawn was all I knew they were doing. Come to find out they stabbed her bladder with a needle when a simple free-catch sample would have been appropriate and much less invasive. Meaning it would have been more fear free. When I spoke with the practice manager, she insisted that performing a cysto was "more fear free" than catching urine naturally. This is absurd. Poking my dog twice with needles (blood draw + cysto) and physically restraining her is not more fear free than one blood draw and collecting urine when she uses the restroom naturally. I also want to point out that it was probably more than two pokes considering I had heard her crying and she came back to the exam room panicked. The veterinarian himself was great. My only complaint is he told me he would have the bloodwork Wednesday and that he would give me a call. He never called, I had to call them the following Tuesday. Granted this time of year is difficult with holidays so I did give grace. He was very apologetic when he found out what happened and I do appreciate it. During the appointment, I overheard him correcting the technician's estimate to include proper radiology interpretation fees. When the technician came back with the updated estimate he didn't explain any of it. He just handed it to me. This experience was the opposite of fear free. My dog came out frantic and anxious, her first negative veterinary experience ever. This is exactly how dogs develop vet fears. To that technician I'm not upset about your lack of experience, we all start somewhere. I'm upset that you disregarded my input about my dog's care and failed to communicate what procedures you were performing. When you don't know something, ask a senior technician or the doctor for help. Imagine your dog going back and you have no idea what's happening, you hear her crying then days later you find out that an unnecessary procedure was done. Throwing new technicians into situations without proper oversight is unfair to them, the pets, and the owners. Training matters. And defending clearly incorrect practices (like claiming a cysto is more fear free than free-catch) undermines your fear-free certification. I had high hopes for this clinic. With a different, more experienced technician, this could have been a positive experience. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case, and I cannot recommend this clinic to other pet owners seeking genuine fear-free care. Lastly I want to add, I am fear free certified and worked as a technician in a fear free certified clinic. I know what is and what is not fear free.

Totally shampooed and his hair was taken down for him to breath. He just looked spectacular. I am very happy with the outcome and more so that he came out very happy to come home with me .. LOL .. I will definitely be back. I also want to say the staff are VERY accommodating. I go their early but they took him right away and let me come in even when they were closed still. My sister and I attended the first ever Meowmaste Kitties & Yoga event at Dogtopia in Stone Oak…read morelast Saturday :) ! We had low expectations since it was the first one. But it didn't disappoint at all and turned out to be so much fun :D !! Understandably, these animal yoga events are generally less intense compared to non-animal themed yoga sessions. This yoga event was more of a beginner's level, with an emphasis on kittens and on encouraging people to adopt them :) ! We met some really cute kittens, including a cute tuxedo kitten named Beandip, who reminded us of our beloved family tuxedo cat when we were growing up :) ! We also met and bonded with some amazing and very friendly volunteers and class participants :) ! You can bring your own yoga mat (which I did) :) ! Or you can rent one for $5 a session (which is what my sister did since she didn't have her own) :) ! This particular Dogtopia is planning on hosting Meowmaste kitties & yoga quarterly, with the next one anticipated for April :) ! For dog lovers, a puppies & yoga event will be held here on Sat (Jan 31) :) !

We were told the owner would reach out later today NOT BY MONDAY otherwise I wouldn't have written this review stating that. The cashier, my husband and 2 groomers were present to hear this. The groomer was asked to by me to demonstrate how it happened but DID NOT demonstrate for us. He only showed me the clippers used. The asst mgr stated that moving forward the groomers would be required to purchase and use smaller clippers that are more suitable for smaller breeds. We told them to proceed with grooming because we were told over the phone that it was a small nick and NOT BLEEDING. When we arrived it was not a small nick and was bleeding until we got to the vet and they glued the wound closed. ORIGINAL REVIEW: This is the second time our dog has been cut during a grooming appointment at Woofgang at the Stone Oak location, and once again, it required a trip to the vet. Let me be clear -- this was not due to our dog moving or resisting during the grooming process. The groomer acknowledged that the injury was caused by their clippers, and while we appreciate that Woofgang did take responsibility and covered the vet bill, this should not be happening -- especially a second time. Accidents may happen, but repeated injuries raise serious concerns about safety, training, and proper handling of grooming tools. Our dog's well-being comes first, and unfortunately, we can no longer trust this location with their care. We hope Woofgang takes this seriously and puts better safety measures in place to prevent this from happening to other pets. The Assistant Manager assured me the owner would call later in the day and we never heard from the owner. This makes me feel uneasy knowing their business should be about caring for our beloved pets.
