JC is now my second favorite Aldi. The one place where I actually like the self checkout. The…read morescanners are really sensitive and just a slight delay, so I've scanned some groceries twice and had to get help until I learned the rhythm. It's always crowded and packed here, especially with everyone "working from home." Seems to me a passel of 'em are working from the Aldi aisles and parking lot because they're always here! It's a great location, adjacent to the best barbershop in town (L&M). Without giving up ALL of my secrets, I'll just say that there are less crowded Aldi stores, but they don't have the self checkout option, which is fine because watching Aldi checkout magicians at an Aldi store is something to behold. Beware those middle aisles, they're full of great deals and things that I didn't know I needed until I saw them!

Preparing to be camped out in the RV for a few days, I stopped at ALDI to pick up ground beef and…read morecheese and burger buns because that's camping food. Oh, and some hot dogs. And more cheese. And eggs. ALDI is great because it's all quality and the prices are super low. Sure, the options are limited and they don't carry many of the name brands you might be used to but it's still good stuff. You'll need to remember to bring a quarter for the shopping cart deposit. And you'll need to remember to bring your own shopping bags (or you can buy theirs). And you'll be bagging your own groceries. But all of that and more is how they keep the prices low. It was a great shop and I'm pleased! [Review 14949 overall, 451 of 2021, number 258 in Tennessee.]

This is for the State of Franklin location in north Johnson City…read more The store has a large parking lot with plenty of handicapped spaces for each entrance. They also do a good job of keeping up with having carts inside so you rarely have to get a cart from the parking lot. Selection is above average and they have a lot of local produce. Sales are typically on products you'll use. Their Food Club brand is decent. The cashier also unloads your cart when you check out which is a really nice touch. This location has a nice deli which is underrated or maybe unknown. Their burgers are surprisingly good and more than reasonable size for the price. You can get a burger, fries, and a drink for under $10 as of this review. Sometimes the wait is a little long but that is generally due to them making your fries fresh. They also offer other sandwiches and have a good selection for dinner as well.

This store is very close to my home. I have stopped several times thinking I'd get something from…read morethe deli for dinner but the food is traditionally old, dried up and just not something that should be sold. As I checked out today I asked to speak w a manager, the woman said I'm a manager, as I started speaking she stop me and got a different manager. I explained to him that this is an on going problem at the deli, he listened, never apologized, just said he would make the store manager aware. Can no one step up and accept accountability? Make it right? Apologize? The person at the deli didn't apologize either but did say "we have to sell it" and "nothing she was allowed to do about it ". Very sad. Not sure why they offer that service when obviously no one is buying the food. I'll attach a couple of pictures as examples of what I'm taking about. One is Brussels sprouts and the other is a stuffed green pepper. You decide if this is acceptable

It's Called STOCK POT too I think. I do love to cook so having a place near by that has restaurant…read moresupply items makes my life a lot easier. i really like this place. They do supply local businesses so sometimes my favorite items go by fast and are not in shelf until there next shipment which can be extended depending on the supplier. That is not a negative, just an unfortunate side effect of their success. I won't go into their entire inventory but they have a nice variety of items, not all "Asian" stuff. I Recommend you visit and see for yourself. The staff has always been very friendly to me and they will even go out of their way to special order an item that you may be requesting. a down side to this place is that the owner plays the music WAY WAY WAY too loud. I get it, he REALLY likes his Christian gospel music but it's almost so loud that I can't hear myself think. I know the all the cashier have commented on it being disruptive before. Meh... It could be worse but I hope they turn the volume down to an enjoyable level. lol. Parking is sometimes an issue. There are not very many spots. I've had to park next door once but it was not an issue. 5 stars all the way for this place.
