We got chicken salad which was very good. We enjoyed the beef pot pie. Since it was my birthday month I got a free slice of cake. You can sign up online and request either vanilla or chocolate cake. The frosting was very creamy. We also selected a few other sweet treats such as a strawberry shortcake, huckleberry cheesecake and a petit chocolate bomb. All were delicious. We will definitely return again over the Christmas holidays.

The decorations on top were pretty but when I took the cake out of the container, it appeared to be sliding off the base it sat on. It wasn't. The cake was lopsided...by a lot. Almost everyone (not me) laughed. Anyone ordering a cake from the Elizabethton Food City store be warned: Don't be the person who brings an expensive lopsided joke of a cake to the party. Go somewhere else or EXAMINE THE CAKE CLOSELY before paying.

Stopped in today to see this place that was supposed to have awesome hamburgers and chicken…read more Boy, they did not disappoint! The hamburger I had was mouthwatering with the all fixings on it! It came with a side of fries and a drink. The hamburger was soooo good, that I will come back have the same order! The fries were nice and crispy too! The service was top notch as the waitress kept refilling my drink and checking up on me. The place is so cute inside with many small tables you can eat your meal. I love this place! One thing to note, the menu prices are based on cash. They do take credit cards but there is a surcharge in using them. I will definitely be coming back!

It's always crowded and packed here, especially with everyone "working from home." Seems to me a passel of 'em are working from the Aldi aisles and parking lot because they're always here! It's a great location, adjacent to the best barbershop in town (L&M). Without giving up ALL of my secrets, I'll just say that there are less crowded Aldi stores, but they don't have the self checkout option, which is fine because watching Aldi checkout magicians at an Aldi store is something to behold. Beware those middle aisles, they're full of great deals and things that I didn't know I needed until I saw them!

I couldn't help to think that this store was exactly similar to going to the fruitful yields back home in Chicago. The store layout felt absolutely familiar even though I have never been to the store in my entire life. This store had a great selection of grocery items, snacks, grab and go beverages and vitamins at the very least. They even had some non alcoholic drinks as well with some hard to find items. Prices were unfortunately a bit High for most of the items. Overall, I do think that the store is worth checking out and it's a bit cheaper than going to Earth Fare nearby.
