Almost the whole shop is back-issue comics and magazines, mostly bronze and modern age, plus a decent selection of new graphic novels and trades, old sci-fi / fantasy paperbacks, and some other collectibles. I knocked more items off my want list here than anywhere around the country in recent memory. Prices IMHO range from low to a bit high, so more than fair in the aggregate. Easy to browse despite the small space. Prices clearly marked. Easy parking. For the type of shop this is (the type I like most!), legitimately great.

I'll have to drop back in from time to time.

I take some in and give them to multiple stores for free to have them give out to kids to try to grow the hobby. Went on WhatNot later that week and saw the owner selling both slabs instead of just giving them to kids as they said they would. Slimy move, be wary of doing business here. Outside of that poor experience and shady move, it is a nice and clean establishment so they deserve credit for that.

I also have spent more than I care to tally. It's an amazingly large store that houses more than just comics. Figures, manga, graphic novels, etc. the staff are friendly and knowledgeable, and for the most part patient with all my questions. Online showed they might have some in stock, so I called first. The gentlemen I spoke with on the phone was really nice and answered my questions, which made me feel confident enough to stop by in person. When I walked in, though, the in-store experience felt a bit different and on the emptier side. The two employees at the front didn't seem very welcoming and gave off a slightly annoyed vibe. When I asked about the Pokémon cards, they seemed confused about what I was referring to until I mentioned I had called earlier and spoken to someone. They checked with their coworker, who clarified which ones he had told me about. I asked to see the packs they had behind the counter, and the interaction still felt a little tense. That said, I was able to grab the two packs, which ended up being the perfect gift for my cousin, so mission accomplished. Overall, they had what I needed, and I appreciate that the phone service was helpful. I'd probably come back if I really needed something specific, and I'm curious to explore more of what they carry. Just hoping for a warmer in-store customer service experience next time.

Zach, the present owner, has maintained and built on the legacy that Ron established back in the day. Super nice guy. Full selection of new comics, not quite as many trades and collections as some shops that primarily emphasize those lines. This is a true comic book store -- an outstanding one.

As the titles come in, you get a call and can pick up at your convenience. I'm old. I like odd indie titles. So the fact that I can essentially give a shopping list is great. The location is also convenient though only street parking is available. I have not found parking to ever be an issue yet. The store is quite large and well stocked with comics and figures. The owner will happily converse with customers and is very helpful when it comes to finding titles.
