I was defrauded out of my collection by this store. I went in & told rhe vendor that my identity had been stolen & that I needed funds for legal aid. I said I only wanted to sell cards valued over $0.50, & they took everything. Every card, brand new binders, starlights & quarter century rares that they losted for an average of $40 a card. Ten of my cards would made the $400, & they got 1800 of them. Now my collection accounts for roughly 10% of their listed online collection. The difference in value is not hundreds, it's thousands. It's not just that they ripped me off, it's that the vendor in question lied to me repeatedly, ignored my stated terms, & was so proud of himself afterwards. He had a sociopathic little smile from the moment I signed til I walked out the door, as I explained my desperation & plans to make it by selling my art. I feel so manipulated & sad about it, & I'm just done collecting cards. Local Game Stores are full of sociopaths, & Pink Bunny is a definitional experience. If you want to be ripped off by a company with millions in annual revenue, which claims to be a poor little shop with an unfortunate location, by all means, check out Pink Bunny. You can see from the number of reviews they have, this is hardly the first time they've been hit by bad reviews. Don't trust them with your possessions. They bring their stuff out back & cards go missing. They get enjoyment out of defrauding people that could have been loyal customers. That's it. That's who they are, & what they did to me. I came here with the intentions to sell around 150-200 of my Yu-Gi-Oh cards. The employee looked at them for probably 90 seconds (not enough time to value each card) and handed them back to me, saying "these will get you about 2 dollars". I did a moderate amount of research before going, and I still knew I could sell each card individually for AT LEAST a dollar. Obviously I did not take the offer. Friday Night Magic is fun, with a decent crowd, good space, and good selection of cards. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and welcoming. When I was younger I would spend a decent amount of time playing card games when I travelled with my family. Magic, Pokemon, Yu-Gi-Oh!, and the like. It was a good way to pass time on long road trips, or flights, and it meant I had an instant group of friends wherever we went to (and we travelled quite a bit). I am currently on vacation, and wanted something to pass the time on the more quiet nights of my trip. My significant other, who lives in the Milwaukee area, recommended I visit this store to get started in playing Magic The Gathering again, so I did. Within a week I had a fun deck to play with, tips from the staff, and played in my first tournament since I was in middle school. Did I win? Nope. Did I care? Definitely not. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming it made the whole evening enjoyable, and I look forward to doing it again. This location reminds me of how it was to play these card games when I was a kid; an instant circle of friends, a fun time with good people, and learning along the way. Yes, the cards can be a bit more expensive than online, and the store is a bit on the smaller side (hence 4 / 5 stars), but it is definitely a location I plan on being a regular at when I am in this part of the country. read more

The store fits the bill as your standard go-to spot for everything Magic: The Gathering and a smattering of board games here and there. Their customer service is average with only a few hiccups here and there when it came to service and knowledge of their chosen industry. Where my problems lie are those small gaps in serviceable knowledge. For example, I went to the store to buy Smash-Up and to peruse their stock of card games. When I couldn't find my chosen card game (Smash-Up), I asked the teller what information he had on it. He admitted he'd never heard of the game and after checking his system didn't see that it was in stock. I thanked him and began perusing some more when I came across the game tucked away on a corner shelf. The teller seemed genuinely surprised at my discovery which led me to wonder how it slipped notice for so long and how it hadn't been inventoried. I believe this could be remedied by simply updating their inventory. My biggest problem with the store, however, came during a visit with my three year old to buy him a board game and again peruse myself. One of the tables in store was filled by a group of people playing Magic. The space in the main area is small enough as is - trying to squeeze between tables and shelves is tough enough without a little one. While trying to pass by the table, one of the players was bumped by my son who messed up his cards. He then proceeded to mutter a string of expletives at my son to which his compatriots simply laughed. While I wanted nothing more at the time to yell and scream at the guys for directing such language at a three year old, I instead chose to simply report the player to the cashier upon checking out. The cashier simply nodded, apologized, and said he'd handle it. I'm not sure whether or not he did as I left after checking out, but the entire scenario should have never happened in the first place. Beyond these two instances, the store is a small comfy little place to check out and buy some games from if you're in the area. Their customer service is usually spot-on, but as I pointed out already, it can have its moments. The first of these incidences happened about three months ago, but my recent visit to the store a couple weeks back was when my son bumped the player which in turn left me wanting to leave a review. In summary, I recommend the store for its products and the usually good customer service they provide, but would steer clear of the people that choose to gather there if they continue to exhibit the sort of behavior I experienced a few weeks ago. I certainly hope the employees attitude and response to such incidences will change for the better the longer the store remains open. Thank you. read more

We got the yelp deal a $30 gift certificate for only $20, a fabulous deal, the staff answered all of my questions and we ended up leaving with 1300 magic cards, two packs of deck sleeves, and a couple little Pokemon toys all for the $20 invested we felt like bandits!!!! They have an enormous selection of Magic: the Gathering, Yugioh, and Pokemon singles and sealed product, as well as a reasonably-sized board game inventory. Their weekly events draw a great mix of casual and competitive gamers (Standard FNM 7 pm, Standard Saturdays 1 pm with on-demand Commander pods to follow; Yugioh Friday and Sunday evenings; DBZ Wednesdays). They also have a great rewards program. There really isn't a good reason to go anywhere else. read more

While I haven't played in an event at this store, I was impressed by the selection and fair pricing on Magic singles. I was able to order cards on the store laptop and they had my order ready in under 5 minutes. They also had boxes full of bulk for pauper format or people who just really love foreign foils. The 20 for 30 deal made my purchase even cheaper, so I definitely recommend it if you are going to be buying a couple things. read more

Store located in a bad area, near the trash dump and mixed residential area. Not safe for small children in my opinion. Customers are mostly young whiny kids and adults that take card games WAY too seriously. I'm a casual gamer looking for a fun environment that is safe and enjoyable. This place just isn't for most gamers. It's kinda scary actually...there are better options in Milwaukee for gaming in my opinion.
