Our toddler has really thrived, he knows all his colors, can count up to 20, and is learning so much! Once our baby gets older I'm sure she will learn quickly too. First off, this daycare center is run by an Indian owner so most staff members are either older Indians or Filipinos who are not qualified categivers but more so just people who need paying jobs and can't get them elsewhere. Secondly, communication can be challenging at times since they would tell me something and it would take awhile or some guessing to know what they actually need. Imagine having these people trying to communicate to your children at the age where they're trying to absorb as much language skills and other social skills as possible. The communication issues happen at the top as well since the So-called Director of the center has only passable level of English. Communication issues aside; what bothered me most was the level of inexperience of the staff members, not to mention the high turnover rate of staff members. Within 6 months of having my child under their care, I would get random calls during the day to have me pick up my child early for various reasons, such as "he's not eating, he has runny nose; he has a fever, etc." so be ready to leave work early whenever they call. The thing that is most irritating is most of the time when I had to pick up my kid early, he was perfectly fine and not anywhere near the level where he needed to go home early. This just goes to show how inexperienced the staff are and they'd rather send a kid home than actually do their job and take care of the kids since they don't know how. Several times when I pick up my kid from school, the staff would realize that they forgot to feed my kid milk that was packed in his backpack so they would just give him milk at pickup, which is around 5pm so my kid did not have anything to eat since lunchtime. These are just some of the long list of issues at this center. Don't make the same mistake I made and look elsewhere for the well being of your children

They are both kind and understanding, while also being firm when necessary. My eldest has learned so much, and constantly ask when she will return to school, as she enjoys it that much. Since my children's enrollement, I have seen a dramatic change in their character. Curiousity shines on their faces. Intellectually, they have amazed me. Yes they are young. My 4 year old is reading, learning patterns and numbers. My 4 year old's cognotive reasoning and deduction up there. My 2 year old knows the alphabet. Counting out loud randomly and recoginizing various things. Vocabulary is up there. Word and picture association. I can't ask for more, but at the same, this school/daycare has pushed them to test those boundries. The way the teachers pour their knowledge, love, and kindness into the kids is a Godsend! Parent input is acknowledged superficially, key points are bypassed, and agreements made at the classroom level are not upheld at the executive level. After receiving an assessment that did not accurately reflect our child's abilities (completed less than two months into enrollment), we raised concerns about the lack of context, narrative, and communication. The teachers acknowledged the assessment was not an accurate reflection of her capabilities and agreed it should be updated to reflect her short acclimation period and current capabilities. However, when this was escalated to the Executive Director, those agreements were disregarded. Rather than updating the assessment as discussed, leadership insisted on singling out a child instead of correcting an administrative misstep. Requests to simply revise the original assessment with accurate context were dismissed. When we expressed concern about the long-term academic implications of having an inaccurate student record, we were dismissed. The Executive Director superficially acknowledged our concerns, and reasonable requests were met with inflexibility rather than problem-solving. A school's culture is shaped from the top. If families are leaving, leadership may want to reflect on how parent advocacy is received and addressed.
