I brought the jeans in and requested to shorten the pant and keep the original hem. She agreed and took the jeans. I came in to pick up my jeans the next day. I asked if I could try them on, she just said "do what you want but I can't make them longer". When looking at the jean I noticed that instead of keeping the original jean hem, she just cut and folded over the fabric. Also there were loose threads but that's beside the point. After asking if this was the original hem like we agreed she said "no, but it's the same". I tried to explain that it's not and I asked to keep the original hem. She then told me to sandpaper the edge if I wanted "that look". ????? She then took the original hem she cut out of the trash can and gave it to me to "take home and compare". I came in with a positive attitude and appreciated that she fit me in, but she didn't reciprocate the pleasantries at all. Honestly Betty just made me feel not welcome and a burden for even asking her to hem some jeans. Not sure where she's getting these positive reviews. I'd recommend just buying a sewing machine and avoiding this lady.
