Reception said I had to come back and they can only see me at my booked time, while she and Faye were just sitting and talking on the couch. I go in at 10:30am. Faye tried to yank my stud out with her bare hands. No gloves. No tools. Nothing. Blood started to gush out everywhere. All over my ear. Down my face. And onto my clothing. She did not even apologize. Faye said that she could not take the change piercing because she did not have the tools. First of all, what kind of piercer does not have their tools when they go into work? Do plumbers work without plumbing tools? Do taxi drivers work without a car? Totally unprofessional. And second, what kind of a piercer doesn't sanitize their hands or wear gloves when working on a piercing? Faye was unprepared, unprofessional, and worst of all unapologetic. Keep in mind, my appointment was booked a week in advance. At the end, she said she cannot do it because the does not have the tools, but still tried to sell me the jewelry. Faye said you can still buy the jewelry and do it yourself. WTF? Faye, if you couldn't do it, what makes you think I could do it myself? All she cared about was making the sale. Not client-focused or concerned at all. By the way, this was all happening with blood dripping down from my ear down to my shoulder. Faye then tells me: "If you don't want the jewellery, you can go." So I left. A day later, my cartilage develops a keloid from all the trauma Faye applied to it with her bare, unsanitized hands. Eventually, it got infected and I needed an antibiotic cream from my doctor. For those of you that know how to take care of a cartilage/helix piercing - it takes about 6-8 months for it to fully heal - with daily salt water soaks and not touching it at all. Faye ruined months of cleaning with less than a minute of severe, intense, and unnecessary trauma to my helix piercing. I would highly NOT recommend this place. Especially NOT Faye. 0/10 - would never come again.

He was a good guy and had a very light hand....didn't hurt much at all. He even let me use his phone charger while we worked! Rabbit came back and checked up on us also and chatted us up a bit more. 30 min in the chair and done. Tatt looks great ..... and feels good this morning. Just touched it for the first time, I can barely feel it, my skin isn't even raised. Colour looks great. I'm very happy. Would recommend the shop and both of the men that I dealt with. True pros! My boyfriend was over charged for his tattoo. It was quoted at $350, mins you he had already paid…read morehis deposit 2 weeks prior, so the total should have only been $300 plus taxes, but they had added his already paid deposit into his total and somehow by the end of everything he had to pay $395 (which they had added extra plus the deposit which was already paid as stated prior) After the deposit and the final payment the total amount was $451. Then when he told them the deposit was already paid they still made him pay the $395. So very unimpressed and feeling super angry.

I had one simple lettering tattoo done that day, and have still waited for the artist to get back to me. Through one email he stated he's busy with other people's sketches who have appts booked. Mine was booked from oct 25 and he has failed to work on mine despite still having a deposit. I've asked and he won't refund my deposit and doesn't seem to want to work something out as far as doing the tatt I have a deposit in for. Very unprofessional, fraudulent at best.

This store had Black Friday deals. The Squishmallows were exempt from being 40% off the posted price. Bummer. Then again, I saved quite a bit by not buying anything! I like that this store carries Grinch and Pusheen merchandise. The Grinch earrings were cool. Pusheen items are always cool to me. Naturally, this store is known for ear piercings. No one was getting their ears pierced while I was there. I did get to look at earrings. Hair accessories are abundant, from hairbands to sparkly hair clips. Sticker beans caught my eye. It was my first time seeing rhinestone stickers that you can apply to your notebook, water bottle, and more. The food one was my favourite. It's a decent store. Staff will quote one price and you could be charged something completely different and arbitrary! There is zero flexibility with respect to compromise and/or customer satisfaction. I was quoted $180 for the work I inquired about and was subsequently charged $360 plus tax. They refuse to problem-solve over the phone (i.e., Sarah Taylor) and prefer to play on the defensive, rather than acknowledge miscommunication. Highly disappointing. Sarah suggested that she prefers emailing so they can better track the complaint process - a perfect avoidance tactic and signs of questionable leadership. All in all, this shop is seemingly more interested in the bottom line, rather than offering accurate and clear information (either over the phone, on their website or via email). She made sure I was satisfied with the placement before going through with the piercing by checking in multiple times before piercing the lobes.
