    Zucchini planks

The service started off quick but quickly dropped off, but she was trying hard. The ambience of the typical college kids seem with basketball games going. The food game was less than stellar. We had the PB Ruben for a sandwich the steak bomb fries and zucchini planks. Not sure why we tried the zucchini again because they're always a disappointment. It's obvious they were dumped into a fryer and never touched. Gummy breading wherever they touched. the cheese on the steak bomb Fries was cool straight from a can. But the drinks were good.

Great service! Very friendly waiter. Quick turnaround too. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and would return!

Bussing fries taste like fair food, the rueben was good a little dry but nothing extra 1000 island won't fix. The service was special and quick. Plenty of parking and if your a browns or steelers fan the atmosphere is hammering.

The best fries in the land! The "Primanti sized fries" with cheese were terrific. The sandwiches are great, but today, the fries were a meal in itself.

this is DEFINITELY not Pittsburgh but it will do. I was in town for the holiday and decided let's give it a whirl. Our waitress was super nice( I cant remember her name..but what else is new) Took a look at the menu and decided on my usual Kielbasa sandwich. E got the trio of something. 5 minutes later she comes back and says sorry we don't have kielbasa anymore. WHAT?!? It's on the menu and the menu on the wall. Go across to Giant Eagle and get me some kielbasa dangit lol So I opted for Corned Beef which was the standard lunch meat so I wasn't impressed. Overall, it tastes like Primanti's....but without my kielbasa I have no reason to go back.

Came here on a Sunday evening we were greeted and sat quickly. Our server was friendly and quick. I ordered wings and loaded tater tots, and a philly and fries. The wing sauce was really good, but the wings themselves tasted like they sat awhile longer than they should've. The loaded tots were a flavor pack every bite! The Philly was packed with meat but it was kinda dry.

Primanti Bros. rocks the manwich sandwich. I ate at this location on a Sunday afternoon in August and sat in the open air section of the restaurant. I loved it! It's genius!! They can close it up in the winter time to keep folks warm and open it up in the summer to let the cool breeze blow through, and that breeze felt good. Seating isn't crowded and there probably isn't a bad seat in the house for viewing the television. If you want a nice, relaxing place to watch a sports game then this location will surely satisfy. I ordered my usual: the Colossal Fish and Cheese sandwich. To die for. The staff were friendly, prompt, cordial, happy to serve, and professional.

I remember seeing this place many years ago on the popular food network show "Diners, Drive ins & Dives". This isn't exactly where Guy Fieri was however it's the same concept. Sandwiches with French fries & coleslaw atop many variations of classic sandwiches. I also remember the concept being truckers wanted a hefty but quick meal which I get but also the food is just lacking in some way. It definitely did not live up to the hype & craving that was created when I saw the show years ago. Maybe they lost their way when it became a franchise type place with pizza & sports on flat screens throughout. Maybe my pallet is just sophisticated or more mature since I saw the show. Whatever the case may be I will not be returning & so far ice cream is the highlight of my food experience while in Ohio

Good service, plenty of TVs, basic range of bar food with the Primanti twist. Will return next time in cranberry.

Chipper's Bar & Grill, where the drinks are overpriced, the food is lackluster, and the ambiance?…read moreWell, it's like if you took the local police blotter, sprinkled in a few late-night soap operas, and added a dash of "drama-filled, drug-fueled weekend vibes." First, let's start with the drinks, because we have to talk about this. I'm not saying they're charging you rent for a drink, but I'm starting to feel like I'm paying off a mortgage every time I get a beer here. $8 for a well drink? I know this is a bar, not a fine dining establishment, but come on, I'm not paying for a drink that costs more than my last therapy session. At this rate, I'm halfway to owning stock in the liquor company. And don't get me started on the "specialty cocktails." I ordered one once, and I swear, it came with a side of regret and financial anxiety. Now, let's talk about the food. It's not bad, per se--it's just that it's, well, lackluster. Like, imagine you're hungry and you want something to eat, but you also don't want to make any long-term commitments. You get a burger that's somehow both dry and greasy at the same time, with fries that taste like they've been waiting for you to show up since last Tuesday. It's the kind of food that leaves you thinking, "Did I just eat something, or did I just participate in a weird, short-lived experiment in disappointment?" But here's the real kicker--the atmosphere. You know when people say, "Oh, it's a fun, lively bar with a lot of character?" Yeah, well, Chipper's takes that and cranks it up to 11. If you're looking for a place that feels like it's been picked as the set for a low-budget cop drama, you've found your spot. I swear, every time I've gone in, there's at least one person arguing with the bartender, someone else looking for their "special something" (I'm being vague for a reason), and a few folks who definitely belong in the local police blotter. If you're hoping to enjoy a quiet drink while listening to the latest true crime podcast, well, guess what? You're living it. And the drama--oh, the drama. It's like a never-ending soap opera, with each scene getting crazier than the last. One minute, someone's telling the bartender they're going to "get the manager," the next, the guy in the corner is having an extremely loud conversation about his conspiracy theories. And don't even think about showing up with a date, because at least five people will whisper to you about the history of their last "complicated situation." It's like watching a reality show where no one is happy, but everyone's invested in someone else's mess. And let's be real, Chipper's isn't just a "place for a drink" -- it's a destination for chaos. If you enjoy watching the local drama unfold with the occasional police siren in the background, this is your place. For me, I'm just here for the show and to enjoy some overpriced drinks that make me feel like I'm living the high life. So, is Chipper's Bar & Grill worth a visit? Sure--if you want to test your nerves, try not to get caught in someone else's drama, and pay more for a drink than you probably should. If you're into that kind of thing, then welcome to the wildest Tuesday night of your life.
