I went into this facility because I just moved to the area and wanted to see what it was like. I was the only person there. The lady up front told me to go sit and wait. I waited for 15 minutes. What I saw, and for my first impression was, three hispanic ladies that were working there just standing talking and laughing with each other. So I left. I wouldn't trust this place with my health. I have been going to the Primary Care facilities for several years now. Dr. Patel is the best. He listens to what is wrong and asks questions that shows he really cares. He even asks me about my job! Every time I visit the front desk people are so nice too. They smile and greet everyone. This last time there were a couple of people that had to be turned away because the walk-in portion of the Clinic was full. The front desk attendants were concise about not having anymore availability but still friendly. They even offered to see if the other Clinic had availability to see patients. There are lots of different doctors and services at this location. The ladies that register you for your appointment always make sure that you know where to go next and don't get lost. I really like this place and will continue to come here for all my medical needs. read more

I received a call from this place telling me that I was seen in the ER at Silver Cross Hospital and that any time someone is seen in the hospital it is recommended they see a primary doctor afterward. I was concerned that they knew my medical history and that I was at the hospital in the first place. I asked how they knew any of this information and they told me their doctors are on staff at Silver cross so they can get this information. Are they really hurting for business this bad that they have to make "sales" calls after you go to the ER? It really seems like an abuse of privilege to me. read more

I've been taking Zoloft and synthroid for years and they have been given me refills for years, plus I get blood work done. The staff in Physical Therapy is second to none. Pam, Angeline, and staff have given me a new outlook on life. I had a stroke and was unable to move my left side. I am ever thankful because I'm walking (with an afo) and picking things up. Today we ended another arduous session with a little fun by playing catch, this may not sound like much to you, but considering I was in a wheelchair and unable to pick up a Kleenex a couple of months ago I treasure them. Dr. Shah has been my dr for years. I like the convenience of getting everything done at one place. Only the Chicago St office is good. Dr. Mehta on Essington is horrible. Don't go there. I've been going to Primary Care, main office-Chicago St, Joliet for about ten yrs. My Dr.-Linda Hushaw is very knowledgeable, as are most of the nurses & office girls. The Dr. makes sure that you understand everything she went over before you leave. They can do about any type of labs/blood work, x-rays, & many other things w/in their building. If you schedule your appt. early enough, you rarely have to wait more than a few minutes to be seen. read more

Walk ins welcome? That's a crock. My doctor cancelled my appointment last week. Here I am sick the following week and she's just short of refusing to see me because I didn't have an appointment!!! She keeps leaving my room to see others with appoinents, something she keeps telling me. Hey I was here at 8 am which is when the urgent care times begin. Most of the staff members are nice. You are better making an appointment rather than a walk-in so you can be seen and don't have to wait as long. If u have an appointment on Saturday and need to cancel, I would call Friday cuz they don't seem to like to answer the phone on Saturdays and I don't think that is right cuz things happen like flat tires, etc. Sometimes the nurse practitioners overreact or underreact but they are very knowledgeable and good at figuring out what is wrong with you and what prescriptions you need. The mammogram lady is very patient and understanding. They have two locations one in Wilmington IL and one in Joliet Illinois. I don't like that they don't have a separate number for Wilmington you have to call the Joliet one for both locations to get a hold of someone or for making an appointment. 18157262200. This place is a joke I wouldn't even take my Dog there. After several Er visits and admitted in to hospital, then my follow up at Primary at age 56 made me feel like just a drug seeker. My past Dr. of 16 years retired so gave this place and Dr. I wont mention a try. From previous family Dr. recieved few meds for IBS & Ulcertive Colitis. After Cat-Scan n ect..ect.. in Er and losing regular family Dr, to retirement I tried Primary 5 visits, Complained about my UC and few other issues, Told them each visit i am still same pain in stomach need my Bentyl for stomach and for years got valium for stomach n nerves n stress. Doc gave me no meds told me just use Zantac OTC. Well since first visit not getting required meds I ended up in ER 4 other times and admitted.!!! read more

My experience with this office was horrible. The staff is rude unprofessional they treat you like everyone is a public aid patient. And act like you are bothering them. I only went because of dr. Meta. But I really have no plans of going back. I did not chose this clinic! My insurance did. But I have the right to switch on 30 days which I.plan on doing. I spent two hours at this place. And was then told I could not see two Dr's in the same day. Well you think they would know that from one office to the next. And the rude girl says your not in the system. Wow! JUST LEFT the other office. Just an all around bad experience would tell anyone don't go there. And half the medical staff are just nurse practitioners this is a bunch of crap. I have been to the Chicago St. Location a couple of times. The first for my asthma. It was nearly an hour wait even though I had an appointment. I got over it when I met with the P.A. I cant remember her name right now. The last time I went was Thursday 1/26/2017. I had an appointment. I waited maybe 15 minutes this time. I spoke with the PA about my issue. She yold me I needed blood work and two ultra sounds. The dates for both are more than 2 weeks out and would have to be scheduled on separate days. I asked if I could do the testing at St.Joes because it was diagnostic and it was severe pain. The medical assistant wasn't sure and I figured i would just take the referral and do it some where else immediately. Later on that day and over the next two I went back and forth with their "referral dept". Everyone is confused or on lunch. I did finally speak with Debbie. She told me Samantha hadles referrals for my insurance and to call Samantha after lunch. I finally spoke with Samantha. She told me that she had a lot of work to do and that I was at the bottom of the list. She told me she would handle it and she just came back from lunch. I call back later she told me call back at 4pm. No answer. I called St Joes to check, she never sent it. This is ridiculous. I wont ever return. The staff is unprofessional and dont have the sense of urgency that is required in the medical field. read more

This specific to the Joliet location. Wilmington is fine thanks. My problem is that they claim all the computers are linked but when you try and get pain meds at Joliet they claim you NEVER had them before!!!. I have been prescribed a medicine for many years and get it routinely out at the Wimington facility. I don't understand that all other meds show up except the pain meds. I came to your facility for the first time on 1-7-2016, I met with Allison Curran, P.A. I was thrilled with how she wanted to get to the bottom of what was going on with my stomach issues. She told me to get blood work done, and I did so on 1-9-2016. The young man who was sitting at the reception desk, I told him I needed blood work, and he told me to sign in. Maybe he did not hear me real well because he was wearing headphones. I am a new customer/patient I did not know that there was 2 sign in sheets. I was not informed of that by the young man. After of an hour of waiting I asked him, what was going on. I was not rude in any way. He did not ask my name, he just told me that there was people ahead of me some of which had appointments. I asked him, if I could make an appointment for labs. He told me that I could either sit down and wait or leave. I was pretty shocked because I work in an office and would never ever speak to someone like that. I was finally called back into the Primary Care area. I explained the situation the young lady and she called in Linda Hushaw, APN/CNP and the situation was explained to her, she went out of her way to help me get my blood drawn immediately from the lab area. It is truly a shame to have some of the nicest people at your facility only to be ruined by a few bad apples. The person that sits at that desk is the face of your business and it is not doing you any good to have headphone wearing rude people in that position. read more

I would not even give a star. 2 healthcare professionals that I have had the most trust and respect are no longer there. One, Dr Wadowski, passed away (may he rest in peace). Then I found trust in nurse practitioner, Jennifer Panning, and I called to make an appointment to find out she is no longer there. I called Friday to schedule an appointment with nurse practitioner Linda at the Rte 53 office on Monday, today. I drive from Coal City to the Rte 53 Joliet office. I walked in there and there was 1 receptionist for a standing room only office. I sign in at 11:30 am for my noon appt and stand by the wall. The receptionist was getting no help and had several things going on. With 2 sides of waiting rooms full, they can't afford another receptionist? I finally get to sit down waiting for my name to be called. Its 1pm now and I didn't get called back but people that had appts after me were. I tell the receptionist. She asks if I'm a walk in and I said no, I signed the appointment check in. I had even asked her when I came in if I signed the check in. Well I get taken to register. Told they had no record of my appointment. For the reason I was there I preferred a female Dr but they gave me a random male Dr. Then I get taken to another packed waiting room. I sat there for over an hour. I ended up leaving because I had to be home for my kids. This was the worst Drs appointment ever. I wasted my time and gas to wait for a non existent appt. I will be changing my primary care from now on. Not one that forgets your appt and just puts you with a random Dr. Very disappointed. read more
