We brought my daughter here for a concussion after being told they could evaluate and treat her, but it ended up being a complete waste of time. The provider did not seem familiar with concussion protocols or appropriate next steps, which was very concerning. If you state that you treat concussions, your staff should be trained in proper concussion assessment and guidance. We left without any helpful information and still had to seek care elsewhere. I am more than understanding that we are in a national pandemic, but waiting over an hour for a scheduled appointment was a bit rough. My significant other and I had tested positive for COVID-19 and had surpassed the 14 days of isolation and were wanting to abide by the CDC suggestion of getting two negative test results before resuming back to normal life. We had received great feedback from our family members who were swabbed there and which prompted us to drive an hour and 15 minutes from Chicago. We arrived at 6:25 for our 6:30 appointment and we were not called back until 7:32. The medical assistant who triaged and swabbed us was very apologetic and was easy to work with making the swab experience as pleasant as possible. Jessica the NP who did the initial consult was friendly and warned us that our tests may be positive picking up on the old virus, and advised us that we should be clear given we had the proper protocol. Our results arrived quickly which was so wonderful (given the national backlog.) Jen the NP working gave us both our results (which ended up being positive and picking up the dead virus like Jessica kindly explained.) Jen stated that it is not ever recommended to get re-tested. My significant other, mentioned that his family was wanting him to follow the CDC recommendation of two negative tests (photo from CDC website below) Jen responded by saying "Retesting is not recommended and your family should not be making up their own CDC guidelines." She was on speaker phone and my jaw just about hit the floor. And told him he would not be allowed to test in the center again for 10 days. Similarly when she called me she told me that retesting was never recommended. Overall, very disappointed at the customer service provided by Jen and the wait despite the appointment. I understand that it this is a rough time for medical providers, but bedside manner would be greatly appreciated. read more

There were two nice professionals that were working with us.I came in with my child for us to both be seen and they were unable to see her due to her not wanting to search the information. I moved past that. The visit was a waste of time because the next day my symptoms are worse. I left with nothing. Honestly google gave me more Answers. I Received a follow up call next day which a physician was supposed to call to discuss a plan. Still nothing. They don't seem serious enough. I will not return or recommend anyone to this location. My husband needed a Covid test because someone at his work tested positive. We went here because they have rapid results. We booked an appointment online and when we got close they said to come in. I ended up getting a Covid test to be safe, my choice. Luckily both of us tested negative. Very friendly staff and in and out quick. The dr provided additional information and advice to us. They have good hours and are open later than most immediate care facilities. I highly recommend this facility. It was worth the 45 minute drive for us. read more

Waiting for almost 90 minutes in the waiting room was the most exposed to Covid I have been during this entire pandemic. I would never go back there because of that. After coming back from a convention, not only did I return with a hefty swag bag, I apparently came back with the plague. I.e. that kind of sickness that hits you like a truck. I figured this was just one of those nasty colds & did what most do - pop some cold meds (DayQuil) & head to bed early after some chicken soup. Woke up the next morning feeling like death, I knew something was really wrong. Worst cough? Check. Fever-chills-sweats? Check. Sadly my GP is in Chicago & with short notice, I knew I wouldn't be seen soon enough. Yelp helped me find this place. I scheduled an appt online (EASY!) & headed over. They were very friendly & attentive. A few tests later (for step & flu) & hello... it's the flu. UGH. The doctor was very sympathetic & phoned in some Tamiflu & off I went. Probably the worst time sick in a long while but after a few days, I was better. I really appreciated a call from the office to see how I was doing. I didn't expect that from an urgent care place! Still had a sore throat & they phoned in more meds for that, but I appreciated their service so much. A huge thanks to the staff here. One of the most thorough prompt cares I've ever been to. I went to a different prompt care and they said I had strep, even though I failed the strep test, and just put me on antibiotics.... didn't work. I came here and they found that I have mono and an enlarged spleen due to the mono. It made so much sense!! Jenn was my doctor and she was awesome. You have confidence that she truly knows what she's doing! The nurse that took me back and took blood, took vitals, etc. was also so kind and inviting. I didn't catch her name, but I was really thankful for her. Everyone was friendly and attentive. The receptionist was extremely kind too! I got in very quickly, even as a first time visitor. Overall it was just an awesome experience! The medicine they put me on had finally allowed me to comfortably eat. And they called back the next day to check in and go over my blood tests. I have never left a review for a place before and felt so strongly about a business. This urgent care is seriously the most amazing one i have ever had the pleasure of going to. I came in with a 102 fever and a rash all over my body and was extremely upset and frantic that I wouldn't be able to be seen by anyone. They had me in with only waiting for 20 minutes they were booked solid and genuinely cared and got me in to see a doctor. The nurses i had were INCREDIBLE. From the receptionist who answers the phone or greets you at the door, to the aide who assists you before the doctor comes, to the doctor him- or herself, they are all wonderful. This was my experience. I called in advance and asked if I can bring my 87 years old mother to get some help since she got a higher blood pressure than usual. I got a positive answer from a receptionist, and we came. Here, "the help" my mother got: Her vitals has been checked; then, we waited about 40 minutes for a doctor; then, doctor assigned an EKG. It was done and turned out to be fine. Then, we got a lecture from a doctor about danger of high blood pressure, (it was 170/80) and my mother might had a brain hemorrhage and should be taken to ER to get CT scan. I am glad that my mother does not speak English, and could not understand a word of this speech. She was not dizzy or confused, or had any symptoms of a possible stroke. When I asked if we can get any help to bring her elevated blood pressure down, - maybe, a prescription of some kind of mild diuretic, - we heard: " I do not want to loose my license" . The final verdict: "go to ER". It was clear that person who served us was not any help. What is not clear, why should I pay for a service like this? Would it be more appropriate, from the very beginning, to let us know that the qualification of a doctor of this establishment does not allow to intervene with the problems related to high blood pressure? My mother was very upset with all this. Thanks God, she turned to be fine without recommended visit to ER. So, for us, it was a terrible waste of time and money. read more
