Experiencing excruciating foot pain, I went to ConvenientMD this morning to figure out what is…read moregoing on. The PA, Lisa, examined my foot for about a minute and said she didn't feel any neuromas so I probably just "need better shoes." I have an extremely physical job, which she dismissed as a cause for what I think may be a fracture because apparently she thinks it's not physical enough for that. She said "you don't just get injuries by walking." I've worked on lobster boats my whole life and have experienced all sorts of regular ailments that I don't require medical attention, but this felt serious enough to seek medical care and still does. She acted like it was ridiculous for me to suggest it could be a fracture, said the X-Ray machine is currently broken and that she could send me to Bangor or Belfast for an X-Ray but that it would probably be a "waste of my time." Was in and out of there within 20 minutes, with about 5 minutes worth of exam time. No empathy, no desire to find the cause and treat the pain - which I rated as a 10. Just "find better shoes." What a joke of an establishment.

When I brought this to her attention at my next appointment, she was embarrassed, saying she didn't realize patients would read their own healthcare summaries. She acknowledged the error, was very apologetic, and agreed to amend my record. Despite that, no amendment was ever made. My request for an amendment was also formally denied by MDIH. This kind of documentation can follow a patient and influence future care. Her failure to amend false information, even after admitting it was incorrect, undermines trust. I would strongly caution anyone considering her as a provider. Finally, I strongly encourage every patient, no matter how routine or uneventful your visit feels, to read your own healthcare summaries afterward in your patient portal. What's written in your record may not reflect what actually happened in the exam room.

They didn't put up the bed safety things, and so I fell on the floor and no-one helped me even though I was screaming for help for 20 minutes. they are cruel and all the nurses should be fire. Although I was 100% converted by insurance they tried to either bill the wrong insurance, or resubmit bills that had already been paid. Then when their claims were rejected they tried to pass them on to me. This has taken hours and hours of my time to try to straighten them out. Patients should not have to deal with this kind of incompetence.
