Getting a shot in your spine is always stressful, but the staff here make me feel so comfortable and reassured that I almost look forward to my injections. Key word being 'almost' cause it's still a needle in my spine and that will always suck. The doctors that work out of OSH are all great. I currently see Dr. Valentine, and he is amazing. He always does his best to be patient and kind when giving my injections. He constantly checks to make sure I am doing ok and that I am comfortable. And the nurses here are amazing! It's almost like they are your stand-in mom, there to comfort you and distract you during the procedure. I seriously adore them. So as much as being at OSH can suck because it means you're in pain, just know that this is the best place you can go to get relief!

At check in, the front office staff were very professional and efficient. When the nurse took us back, she put us in a surgery waiting room and two hours later-still waiting and never checked on, we hear others, that came in after us-being checked on, the anesthesiologist and doctors discussing the procedures with them and taking them back. They were so over booked, but yet the others waiting were all being checked on, while we were forgotten about. Our daughter is 6, she has had tubes in her ears and a T&A and we were never treated that way. We ended up leaving. We did not trust our child's care, to medical professionals who left us in a room for two hours, did not check on us and saw every other person who had checked in after we did. I do not recommend their facility, not for a child and especially not for any special needs child.

I went here because my insurance (Tricare) is accepted. They have a nice lobby with a big television. They even have coffee out if anyone wants it. The people who work here have all been very nice and accommodating, which is nice when you don't feel good. I have seen two different doctors and both took a good amount of time with me to figure out what was going on. They asked a lot of questions and seemed genuinely concerned. With a prescription (called in by them) I was out the door and ready to be healed. :) Both times I received a call a few days later to make sure that I was doing better. I really appreciated that because both times I had a few questions. They got back to me with the answers and all was well!

Danielle then took me back for the rest of my exam, and she was rather direct in conversation and answered all my questions and I left feeling pretty relieved and taken care of. She sent me home with some paper print outs of more details on their findings to learn more. I appreciated all of the women who helped me during my appointment, and when I checked out a beautiful blue-haired woman said "Yay! You don't have to come back!" which was silly and it was fun to be celebrated. I would recommend this place highly to those who need it.

The treatment that my family and I received wad lackluster at best. When there is a serious illness involved, healthcare can mean life or death. I think the staff should consider this with each patient. Unfortunately, this cancer center did not meet our expectations. This center is lacking human empathy and that is unfortunate.
