I am pleased to say that I finally found a rug cleaner that has addressed all of my concerns with connoisseur carpet cleaners. They arrived on time, were friendly, and they were respectful of space (moved furniture and put it back carefully). They did deep cleaning and the stains didn't come back after a few weeks. This is the first carpet cleaner that I've used more than once and I will definitely call them again next year.

I don't have a cleaning service come by regularly because I can't afford it, but I had family coming into town and wanted to make sure my home was in tip-top shape for them. I paid $130 (I live in a small 2-bedroom condo) for the deep cleaning. At first glance when I came home after they'd cleaned, everything looked great and the house smelled wonderful. The more I looked around, though, the more I noticed shortcuts -- for example, I moved a lamp and noticed that they hadn't moved ANYTHING when they were cleaning -- they just cleaned/dusted around things. The same goes for my kitchen counters, tables, etc. I also noticed that they didn't vacuum in the corners where little particles of dirt tend to accumulate. I also paid them an extra $20 to clean out my fridge, and they didn't wipe out any of the doors. Unfortunately, they gave my overbearing mother a number of things to complain about, which was exactly what I was hoping to avoid by hiring them. Overall, not a bad experience, just not a service that's worth nearly $130. I'm pretty sad to say that I won't be using Happy Planet's services again.
