They sent out another technician (Blake) who had a device that allowed him to locate the leak. It was in the cooling system and the unit needed to be replaced. The next day they found the cooling system was under warranty, located a system locally and then installed it. They gave me a quote for the labor which the warranty did not cover. Matt came out that evening and installed the new cooling system. All three technicians were outstanding and knowledgeable and were courteous and did their jobs. Matt who installed the new system was the best technician I have ever seen. Great company with great employees. They did not try to upsell you on anything and even their office researched and found and coordinated the warranty process for us. Our a/c unit was only two years old in a new build house.

I called 3 companies and set apt.'s for Monday. 1 was a company we used to service our current A/C and Heater for the last 9 pears and they have been great. The other 2 were the best rated I found that I liked. Pickerington Heating and Cooling aka 5 STAR SERVICES did not come in the cheapest but was in the middle and the reason I pick them was because of the Salesman Josh ! An older very experienced man in the industry not just sales. He was so knowledgeable about all the systems and what I truly needed. But he convinced me what separated Pickerington Heating and Cooling was the staff and installers. The Installers are truly what matters in a job like this. They told me on Monday they were so booked that it would be next Monday before I could get a Fill install. But Josh went above and beyond and stop back the next day with a capacitor that got my old one up and running so we had a/c to get by with. Sure I could have just had him replace that and been done and we both knew that, but it is 23 yrs old. So we chose to replace it. Now they call me on Tuesday and say an opening came up and they could squeeze it in Thursday !!! Great News !!! Now the BEST PART ...The 3 men they sent out Jerrick, Tony and Zane. These 3 worked together like an Ohio State Offense ..2 worked inside taking the furnace apart and Zane outside taking the old A/C unit apart and installing the New Goodman. When it was all said and done I was so impressed ..Clean as you go, organized, communicated great between the 3 of them. We have been taken advantage of many times in the past, so we were already tense about the entire thing. We found RJ Howard Electric and gave them a call. They open very early in the morning (7:30am) which is nice for stressed out folks like us! We spoke with Rick and explained the situation. He was able to schedule an appointment for 4:00pm later that day. Rick showed up right on time, 4 o'clock on the DOT, and called my hubby for more information on what what happening in mom's home. He went downstairs and checked her circuit breaker and after less than five minutes of investigating he already knew the issue. It was the line outside on the pole, which is an AEP problem. Not only did he call AEP for my mother and arrange for them to fix the outage, but he provided us with the ticket number so we could track the progress. On top of all the good news, he also only charged us a minimal fee for his services. We were so relieved and appreciative and cannot say enough good things about this company. We have some electrical issues at our house that we have been putting off over fear of getting taken advantage of, but it's comforting to know we have a reliable, honest electrician to call now!
