    After 12 tumultuous years with another HVAC company who sold, installed and serviced our furnace -…read moreand then nickeled and dimed us and tried to tell us our furnace needed replacing ASAP, we found Care Heating & Cooling on Yelp and I picked them to get a second opinion based on their Yelp ratings and reviews. They came, assessed and won my trust and business. We religiously care for and service our furnace as I don't want it to fail in the dead of winter. After looking at our furnace, Care told us that they did not see a need to replace it - that it checked out tine. We also had them service the AC unit which, knock on wood, has a been a gem and never yet failed us. They not only did the service, they made recommendations on how to maximize the cool air where it was wanted by shutting off the areas where we don't need it! I wish I would have known this was possible 25 years ago! As I freeze in the north side of the house while the hubby sweats in the south side. I work from home and my office is in the cool part and his TV room is in the south. We get direct sun that heats up that room quickly. Bottom line - this company is the bomb. One I look forward to having service our HVAC needs in the future.

    We paid cash for the highest level Trane system three years ago, sales guy was great, installers…read morewere great. And since we purchased the top of the line system we also paid for a service contract. That is where everything went to hell in a hand basket fast. Every preventative maintenance appointment get delayed and delayed by weeks. We now have to deal with their AI BOT every time we call. Under maintenance contract we are are supposed to get priority service calls. So after a month and a half delay for the spring maintenance which finally occurred two weeks ago (month and a half after their original commitment) our system threw a major error and shut dow at 4:30. Called got past their AI bot talked to a human committed to having a tech here tonight between 5p and 10p. Got one text from them within 10 minutes we have your service ticket but running behind. Almost 10p call, get past their ai bot only to talk to an answering service. Once you buy a system from Logan services you will feel like you bought a really nice car from a shady used car salesman. I don't know who the MBA family member is that is running the show there but they seem quite intent in fleecing their customers with No remorse. I will be calling Trane directly tomorrow about this. I have tried to be patient but this is beyond the pale.

    Our AC unit wasn't working properly so we reached out to a few companies and ended up going with…read moreAtlas Butler Heating, Cooling & Plumbing. What a mistake that was. The technician repaired our system without advising us of the cost beforehand. When the technician handed my husband the bill, he told him there was a glitch in their system and it wasn't showing our membership, but that the office would correct the discount. Within 20 minutes, I called the office because when we signed up, the representative told us the membership benefits were effective immediately. I left a message and finally received a call back today (holiday weekend, understood). The manager, William, told me that the parts are cheap, but the prices are marked up to cover their business overhead and to allow them to "make a small profit." He also said that even though the technician noted the system glitch on the invoice, the price we were charged was the correct discount -- and that the "trip fee/service fee" was billed because it was part of the job that the system glitch for the total job cost. William also advised that the job cost is higher because it includes their warranty on the part and labor. When I pointed out that I'm essentially paying for everything they claim they're "providing," he told me, "It is what it is." I asked to speak to someone above him, and he said there was no one, even though he is clearly not the CEO. @Michael Swepston would love to share this experience with you and hear if this aligns with your corporate mission and values. I told him to remove me from the program because I'm not doing business with a company that pretends to offer discounts and benefits but charges me for everything anyway. He hung up on me. This entire experience has been dismissive, misleading, and unprofessional. Unless this is the kind of service you look to be provided, you now have my experience to help make an informed decision.
