Our furnace broke down last week. I called Rightway heating and cooling. They sent out a technician (hunter) that afternoon. The found there was a leak. They sent out another technician (Blake) who had a device that allowed him to locate the leak. It was in the cooling system and the unit needed to be replaced. The next day they found the cooling system was under warranty, located a system locally and then installed it. They gave me a quote for the labor which the warranty did not cover. Matt came out that evening and installed the new cooling system. All three technicians were outstanding and knowledgeable and were courteous and did their jobs. Matt who installed the new system was the best technician I have ever seen. Great company with great employees. They did not try to upsell you on anything and even their office researched and found and coordinated the warranty process for us. Our a/c unit was only two years old in a new build house. read more

I called them to check if the AC is ready for the summer. I was very disappointed with the service: 1- They did not clean the AC coils 2- They did not replace the cups 3- The filter installed was the wrong size I will never call them again. read more

Blake Harrison went ABOVE AND BEYOND to ensure our unit got serviced and identified the problem in less than 10 mins! We were a new customer to Right Way and will be a returning customer for any hvac needs in the future- thanks to Blake! We called for an emergency service - at around 5pm - as the hvac wasn't supplying cold air. The house got up to 88 degrees! They were some miscommunication with team members involved in scheduling and we weren't sure if the unit would be serviced same-day as originally promised. Blake came to the rescue - after already working over 20 hours - and serviced our unit same day. He was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, thorough, and patient. Superb customer service. He identified the problem within 10 mins, explained to us why the cold air wasn't being supplied, and replaced the part. Then he reviewed the system to ensure the issue was resolved. Words cannot explain enough how much we appreciate Blake and his help. (I apologize in advance for this long review!) Our 17 year old Goodman furnace had worked fine all winter, but when we turned on our a/c right before predicted warm weather in April arrived (2025), we discovered that the a/c suddenly wasn't working correctly. We have used Right Way Heating & Cooling over the past few years for our semi-yearly HVAC maintenance, so we called them to check it out. After the service tech examined our a/c unit, he said that our condenser was going out and should be replaced. He told us that we could replace only that, or because many companies had deals this time of year, it might be more cost effective to replace both furnace and a/c, especially because of our furnace's age. A few days later, Noah from Right Way came to our house, looked at the furnace and a/c, and gave us a quote for a new Bryant HVAC system. He told us we had 30 days to make a decision, but the closer it got to hot weather, the more quickly their installation schedule would fill up. We thanked him and told him we would get back to him once we decided. We never make immediate decisions, especially about high-ticket items; we normally will get a second or third opinion/estimate. Over the course of the next two weeks, we had at least 4 or more other companies inspect our a/c unit to see if they agreed with the initial diagnosis. They did. We also got estimates on replacement systems from those companies. In the meantime, we researched HVAC systems and recommendations from Consumer Reports, Google Reviews, and other websites. It's always good to comparison shop, but it can sure muddy the water! Prices and recommendations were all over the place, and of course, we heard different things from different companies. We finally decided to use Right Way. They offered a great price for the system; their warranties were the best (10 yr parts, 10 yr labor--no one else even came close to the labor warranty), their yearly maintenance cost was the lowest, and we have always had good service from them in the past. Unfortunately, by the time we made our decision near the beginning of May, the price had gone up $4000. My husband called Noah, who said that Bryant's prices were good only until the end of April. However, that had not been explained to us when we were given the initial estimate, and according to our paperwork, we still had a week until the 30 days to make our decision ended. Noah told us that in the past, their supplier would still honor the estimate, but that wasn't the case this year, which was a big surprise to him. He apologized but it appeared that if we wanted to get our system from Right Way, we would have to pay the higher price. Disappointed, we decided we would have to look into other options. We were shocked the next day when Noah called us back. Because his original quote had given us the 30 day window, we had been customers for several years and had recommended them to our two sons (resulting in 2 new customers), he said Right Way would honor the original quote. We jumped on it right away and scheduled the installation for their earliest open date, which was the following week. We had been told the guys would be here at 8:30, and that was pretty much the time that Austin, Gabe, and Maison arrived. Before even coming inside our house, they asked if we wanted them to wear protective booties (we said not necessary) and after carrying in their tools/equipment, got right to work. They worked really hard and obviously knew their craft well. At one point, they discovered that a part of the old furnace venting didn't fit perfectly with the new furnace, so they fashioned a new part and installed that instead. They were polite, professional, and didn't seem to mind our many visits to the basement to just watch what they were doing or ask questions. They took their time to do the job right and didn't rush to get done. They ended up spending over 9 hours here. We were very pleased with the installation and service we received from Right Way. Our past experiences with the company have shown them to be reliable, professional, and they always respond in a timely manner whenever we have a heating or cooling problem. In the rare occurrence when maybe something wasn't done the "Right Way" the first timehey never hesitate to quickly send a tech out to fix the problem. In fact, the company owner himself went to our son's condo to fix a problem several months ago. That, as well as our recent HVAC installation, cemented our opinion of what an outstanding company Right Way is, and we would heartily recommend them to anyone looking for an HVAC system or HVAC service. read more

Blake was our technician today. Right Way had just installed the new HVAC system this past August (great job by the way). When I turned the furnace on for the first time this morning, it didn't seem to cycle the way it was supposed to. When I called them, they sent Blake out on the same day, and he was quick to identify a loose wire on the control board. The wire was tightened and the furnace now cycles perfectly. There was no cost to this service, as the whole system has a 10-year parts and labor warranty, which is a great added value. We called them because the furnace blower motor was not working, and they sent a technician out the same day. After checking it out he said the fan motor was seized up and need replaced. It took 2 days to get the correct one, but once they had it they came out immediately and installed it. Ben the technician who installed it was knowledgeable and professional and had me check out the old one and see how it was seized up. They installed a new AC unit just a year ago and did a great job and that's why we went with them again. read more

Unfortunately I had Right Way come out to do maintenance on the furnace. They found 'high carbon monoxide levels' and suggested I buy a new furnace (through them of course). I was sceptical so I had another company come out for a second opinion. Apparently everything was fine and 'the furnaces last forever'. Unfortunately I do not trust this company. UPDATE: the company I used to give a second opinion, I trust way more than yours because I have had issues with your company previously and I have used them a number of times. There are a lot of scams going around concerning a 'cracked heat exchanger' so I just do not trust your opinion. read more

Although they were quick to respond with same day service, the responding tech was not overly informative of the problem. He said the a/c capacitor was bad and he could fix it. He said the capacitor was around $340 plus labor. Total charge was $444. I checked online and found most all capacitors under $50. When confronted he just stated that was their charge. Since I was stuck on a 94 degree day, I paid it with protest. Will be reporting them to the BBB. we are retired and elderly and feel we were railroaded. read more

Do not do business with this company. They missed a leak in my condenser coil, charged me nearly 500 for an R22 fill (that all leaked out into our atmosphere), and despite my follow ups did not call me back on the coil replacement. read more

DON'T RECOMMEND AT ALL!!! They came out last month to fix my broken A/C unit. Said it was a very short wire that was burned out and that was all they replaced. A/C went out again last Friday during 90+ degree heat. Been out now for 4 days!!! Came back and said it was again that same little piece of wire. Only today they said it keeps needing replaced because my compressor is over amping. This should have been diagnosed last month!!! Was told today my A/C was fixed but advised me to replace compressor because it would keep burning out the wire. NOT FIXED!!!! MY HOUSE HAS GONE FROM 82 DEGREES TO 85!!!!!!! AND THEY WON'T DO ANYTHING BUT SURE WANT TO CHARGE ME FOR A COMPRESSOR AND ANOTHER POUND OF FREON WHICH THEY CHARGED ME FOR LAST YEAR. TOTAL SCAM AND DON'T KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING!!!!! read more

Right Way did a fantastic job installing two HVAC units in our house. They gave us fair estimates, were good with communications and worked promptly and diligently. We had a minor hiccup with our thermostats after the installation, called Right Way and the service specialist, James Howard promptly came and not only fixed the issue but also helped us understand the thermostats and patiently answered all our questions. If possible I wouldn't give any stars. This company is terrible at communication, they wait days to order parts and time to fix is ridiculous for normal replacement/fix parts. From initial visit to fix was 3 weeks. They also won't "call you back" when you talk to them and I had to call to find out that the part had actually arrived, who knows how long it was there. read more

We have used Right Way Heating & Coolin a few times over the past 4 years and they have always been wonderful. When we initially hired them, we were told by a different company that the repair would be $1200.00 and we decided to get a second opinion and chose Right Way and we are so happy we did!! Come to find out the other company was charging double, what it should have been and also misdiagnosed another issue, thankfully, we got a second opinion and Right Way gained a very loyal customer!! This time Chris came out, we assumed we just needed more freon and then asked if he could test and see if there was a leak. Chris called in and got the approval from our home warranty company and performed the test. There was a leak and it was an easy fix. This was great news especially when the previous company told us the leak was in a pipe going down a wall (this was incorrect, as they never even tested for it) and the old company also said it would cost a lot to diagnose and fix and that we should just keep getting the Freon charged ever couple of years. Again, so grateful we found Right Way our leak is fixed and no need to put a "bandaid" over the problem anymore!! They find the problem and fix it the "Right Way"!! I would recommend Chris and the whole Right Way company. I am also impressed as they always answer the phone right away, get you one the schedule quickly, keep in contact, and arrive on time within the allotted time frame.
