I was repeatedly assured that they had plenty of lifeguards available in my area and that there would be no issue providing coverage for my event. The day of my daughter's 8th birthday party, the lifeguard was a complete NO-SHOW. Many of our guests attended specifically because they were told a lifeguard would be on duty around the pool. Not only was this a major safety concern, but it was also incredibly embarrassing. I felt like I had misled my guests, despite doing everything possible to confirm the service beforehand. If you are planning an event and need a dependable lifeguard service, I would strongly encourage you to think twice before booking with this company. With that in mind, I wanna say I am deeply grateful for this school. They have great systems in place with low ratio and really teach the little ones a lot while they're there. I can solidly say that at two years old my daughter can count from one to 20 and sing the whole alphabet along with about 15 different nursery, rhymes and stack blocks and has very advanced fine motor and motor skills because of the school. I'm a licensed OT and always felt safe with and confident in staff. Mrs. Nali, Mrs Dhammika, and Mrs Nayana are well educated in this age group, patient, and loving. All of the staff are truly wonderful. We went from infant, to wobbler, to toddler and transitioned very well. I don't know the frequency but every time my child which class they gave me a comprehensive developmental checklist to tell me what my child was doing or wasn't doing that was on track for proper development or not and that is huge. When you're a busy parent and don't always notice some of the things that Are typical or atypical to have some professional eyes to help you understand where your child is developmentally is huge. They are CPR trained and do a great job with making sure they're fed and changed consistently. My baby never came home hungry or never was crying when I picked her up and never got diaper rash there. If you choose to be part of the little app, you will get photos of your child. Once every couple weeks in the classroom is playing with the other children. They also send little videos and they do little Halloween parades and classroom parties. The Christmas parade is precious too! The focus of MONTESSORI is self-sufficiency which as an occupational therapist I really love. She would come home and if she spilled something, she would run right away to try to clean it up. She very much wanted to learn how to do things on her own and she knew how to threw away her own trash, which was not something I taught her at home necessarily lol It truly is adorable and prepares your baby for a successful road ahead with school and life beyond. My only thing I would change is having carpet or soft floor in the infant room vs hard floors. Other than that, everything really is done perfectly, and they have a lovely little outdoor space that they take them to a few times a day where they can ride bikes and do the slide and all of that. Learning how to operate in a group and look at what the rest of the group is doing and follow along is a critical life skill, and my baby has transitioned to preschool seamlessly because of her experience at this other school. In fact, one of her current teachers used to work at Wee care as well and has positive things to say.

But my concerns eventually became serious…read moreenough that I felt I needed to report the facility to social services. * Unsafe sleep practices: I personally witnessed staff using aggressive physical behavior to get children to sleep and witnessed blankets completely covering children's heads during sleep. I began doing daily check-ins because I was so concerned about my own children. My children also started trying to cover themselves completely with blankets at bedtime, something I never allowed at home. After leaving, that behavior stopped. * Concerning behavioral changes: During their last few months there, both of my children started hitting and slapping. This is not behavior I use or model at home, and I wasn't sure if it was a toddler phase, something they picked up from other children, or something else in their environment. I can't say for certain what caused it, but since attending their new preschool, they are completely different kids. They no longer hit or slap and are incredibly gentle. * Unexplained bruising: I understand toddlers get bumps and bruises, but my son came home with new bruises very frequently. Repeated bruises on his arms that appeared similar to finger marks became especially concerning. Since starting his new preschool, I haven't seen the same pattern of injuries. Actually no injuries since. * Allergy concerns: They claimed to be "nut-free," yet I personally saw peanut M&M's at the front desk on two separate occasions. Because my child has a severe allergy, I immediately left with my child. I do want to acknowledge that there were some genuinely wonderful teachers, and the newer director was kind when I raised my concerns. But ultimately, I no longer felt safe leaving my children there. It's heartbreaking because this place had so much potential. I just hope sharing my experience helps other parents make an informed decision.

I took the ACLS & BLS class today with Marc, and it was an amazing experience. Marc is incredibly passionate and truly enjoys teaching, which made the class engaging from start to finish. He's also very creative--he explained complex concepts in fun and memorable ways that made them much easier to understand and retain. Now I have to rush to find another provider to complete my NRP renewal. Absolutely appalling. This is why I refuse to pay for services BEFORE they are rendered. I should have read the reviews prior to scheduling because this is apparently the norm for his business practices. Not only did I learn more in this training, but it was more enjoyable and a better use of my time (didn't drag on). The best part was that this was a hybrid course and I completed the majority of it online first - it is official Red Cross online training (you can even go back and access it later if you want as a refresher). The amazing part about it being online was the online training was very informative - it was very simulation based (like a video game) where you had to assess the situation and make different choices. I learned more this way than I ever did before because it was actually practical knowledge that I got to apply. Then by the time I attended in person we went over everything we learned online using the in person training aids (mannequins, AEDs, first aid bandages/wraps, etc.) and that was such a great reinforcement of what I learned online that this time the knowledge really sunk into my brain and I feel more confident knowing the skills than I ever have before. Also, in person the trainer, Brenden, was very entertaining and such a wealth of information. In addition to the training, he shared with us real life examples and stories to add to our knowledge which was very helpful. Because it is Covid, we wore our masks the entire time, sat 6 feet apart and had our own materials to work with (we didn't share and we didn't work with a partner). I felt super safe and I learned a lot! I highly recommend Key CPR to everyone! It is sooooo much better than other programs I learned in the past!
