It's been an absolute blessing for me to have Mrs. Anne and Mrs. Estella as my child's teachers. My child is a super picky eater, but the staff is amazing at working with me to ensure mealtimes are positive and tailored to her needs. The communication here is fantastic--daily updates and as-needed feedback keep me in the loop, and during the first week, Mrs. Anne kept me posted daily on how my child doing every transition and activity that really put my mind at ease. After many amazing years our youngest son has graduated from Tiny People Home Daycare and it's bittersweet. Our son has made many friends at this school, but no relationship as important as those he's made with the teachers here. They are honestly like family at this point. They know our son so well. They know the things he loves to do outside of school and all of his peculiarities. I know he will miss them so much. Although it's listed as a "daycare" it really should be called a Montessori. Our older son was also taught by the teachers here albeit when they were at different schools teaching and when he started kindergarten at public school they said he should really be in first grade. That's how we found out of Tiny Peoples Home and why we sent our youngest son here. We will genuinely miss all of the holiday parties with all of the kids and their family's that this school holds throughout the year. They go above and beyond to create something very special here. As our son Chris is about to reach his one-anniversary at Tiny People Home Daycare, I want to take a minute to thank Miss Anne and Miss Estella for being so incredibly caring and fun. Just about a year ago, I sent my 16-month baby to daycare, and like many other first-time mamas, I was extremely nervous about this decision. Well the nervousness was gone in like a week. It took Chris about a week to settle in, and Miss Anne and Miss Estella followed his cues in feeding/napping/playing/other needs until he began to follow the bigger group and join the bigger kids for circle times/activities. There were also two other infants in the class at the time, and as far as I can tell, they were very happy babies (now turning toddlers like Chris)! I second everything mentioned in the other reviews: fun arts and craft sessions, educational activities, holiday parties, and birthday celebrations. They are learning and growing together and celebrating each other's growth. Within just a year, Chris has learned to feed himself, share and take turn, numbers, colors (in English and Spanish), aside from talking and singing a lot. I was incredibly fortunate to have found Ms. Anne from the very first day my daughter started at daycare until her last day there. Ms. Anne and Ms. Stella cared for my daughter as if she were one of their own. Since my daughter was born during COVID and stayed home with me for 1 1/2 years, going to daycare was a new experience for her. She has learned her ABC's, days of the week, and months in both Spanish and English. Teaching takes place on a daily basis with worksheets sent home of her proud work. She has learned basic math such as adding and subtracting and has even mentioned she has learned methods to deal with stress such as breathing exercises. Thanks to their patient guidance, my daughter transitioned from diapers to using the potty with confidence. Communication with the staff has always been prompt and effective. They have been attentive to our questions and concerns, making us feel valued and reassured as parents. Brought my son to Tiny People Daycare after searching and searching for the right place to bring my little one. Meeting Miss Anne for the first time really made me realize this was the place for him. She was so kind and I knew she really loved what she did. She was so wonderful on sending me updates knowing I was a worried mother bringing my son to daycare for the first time. My 2 year old was extremely attached me to especially being 7 months pregnant so he was having a really hard time when it came to me leaving him every morning. Miss Anne was so patient and understanding. Unfortunately I had to take my son out of daycare due to his morning tantrums, he was just having too much of a hard time being away from mom. I am so fortunate to have found Ms. Anne. She is wonderful and caring with the children. My 2 year old son has been attending full time for over a month now. I have noticed so much growth in him already. Ms. Anne makes sure to provide him the attention he needs with her caring touch.
