Upon arrival my husband, Taylor and I got to talking about our garage door needs. Initially we brought Jolly Goat out for the possibility of maintenance for the current door we have. After assessment we asked for an estimate for repair and new door. After hearing the cost for repair to the current door, it was decided we will be getting a new door instead. I appreciate the time for them making the drive out at our request. At the end of the appointment, Taylor got the final quote and other documentation sent to my email and measurements completed, so they could get the door ordered as soon as possible. I recommend Affordable Door to friend because I had used them since 2003. I thought most people warranty their work without charging for it. I called AffordableDoor once I found out what they charged and asked for a quote to replace two door springs and they couldn't do that. The cost would be determined by service guy after he comes out to do the work, which is a terrible business strategy. I called other garage door repair shops and got quotes for $300.00 to $500.00 to replace two garage door springs. I also found out owners of Affordable Door now have only had this business maybe for 4 years they purchased it from the owner that was a good garage repair company, sorry it has changed .
