Please be careful and read this review. I got burned by Raj. I purchased a quartzite slab from Raj and his salesperson, Lorraine. Initially, they couldn't have been nicer or accommodating. And the price with installation was very low. My counter was installed on 7/22/22. There were a lot of issues with installation and one piece was fabricated backwards. What I noticed after the installers left was that the slab which was supposed to be 1 1/4" thick was actually less than 1 inch thick. The thickness varied in several areas, which is shown in the photos. The seam was awful and very noticeable, as well. And the cut out for the faucet was not centered. But the worst issue was definitively the thickness of the slab. I contacted both Raj and Lorraine immediately after installation. Lorraine was lovely she told me that she "had my back" and if necessary they would install a new slab. We were replacing a countertop that was the usual 1 1/4" thickness. So it was essential that the new slab was the same thickness. And 1 1/4" is standard thickness. The new slab I purchased was supposedly 1 1/4" thick as listed on the slab itself and the bill also showed it to be 1 1/4" thick. The next day, July 23rd , Raj texted me that he would get back to me on Monday, July 25th. Never heard back from him despite numerous attempts. On Aug 14th he texted me that he was traveling and would call me "tomorrow." Tomorrow would have been Aug 15th. Never heard back from him. On 8/9. Lorraine texted me that she had a death in the family and she was out from work, but would find out what's going on and get back to me. Never heard back from her either. I came to find out later when I had the had the counter removed by an another company that the slab was defective and not nearly as thick as stated by Prime Marble. There was nothing that could have been done to rectify the slab. It needed to be replaced. Raj and Lorraine never contacted me back as promised. I contacted my credit card company and after sending them photos and an attestation from my contractor that the slab was defective .... the charges from Prime were reversed. I'm not sure about all these glowing reviews on google, which was the reason I had chosen Prime. I certainly did not have a good experience. This was a total scam. Dishonesty as it's worst.

Now RBS is merging with a 90 something year old kitchen dealer - that was for decades by the RR track on LI's south shore in Lindenhurst - They have a new space on the southern end of Rt 110 - Broadhollow Rd. Farmingdale. The showroom is new and spacious enough to properly display many lines they represent. Took plenty of photos to show examples. Best advice is do NOT get overwhelmed with kitchen jargon - like overlay.. inset .. painted.. Mid range, high end etc. There is no right or wrong. Showrooms let you get the look and feel of a kitchen and the inside of the cabinets.. how the drawers pull out... how they close. Etc Best thing is to pick a few that you like and ask for the price range and time to have delivered. I also usually ask where they are manufactured. Only a few places actually truly make cabinets on LI today - many claim to, but are really unpacking and or assembling.. and or painting. Lakeville is NOT manufacturing - they are representing the manufacturers as retailers - which means they need to sell enough to be authorized.. and so are familiar with the product. The salespeople know which ones are the best value, quality, time frame etc.. They have in house designers - that can help you plan the perfect layout. Think a few weeks ahead to not get disappointed if they have other people ahead of you for design work. We have been to Southold's RBC years back and were not wowed- then Riverhead itself and thought it a good showroom and excellent customer service... but this Lakeville division of RBC is their biggest showroom, and worth some time to compare cabinets. Much easier that just looking at door colors and a computer screen. Found lots of gorgeous displays and left inspired and closer to narrowing down the right choice.

We purchased Medallion cabinets in 2017 and they began to buckle and the paint pealed off. I contacted Lakeland Kitchen and after numerous phone calls and emails Lakeland with Medallion sent Legacy Touch Up to repair my cabinets. I truly did not think the could be repaired but I am happy to say Legacy did an amazing job and expoxy and painting to repair the damaged cabinets.. I am very happy with the outcome and would recommend Lakeland Kitchens.
