Upon arrival, I was welcomed by the receptionist and my vet tech was wonderful and positive. My pup, Beau, isn't the biggest fan of vets (he's actually quite the opposite), so I personally dread this visit as much as he does because he gets so nervous and anxious, and I know it's quite a job to handle him. The experience I had at Needham and with Dr. Stephanie Crow was the best experience I've ever had with a vet. My last vet visit was a very poor one (at another establishment before I moved), so I was extra nervous, especially establishing at a new location. Stephanie walked in with the biggest smile on her face (especially after I knew Beau was likely difficult) and just loved him so much. She sat right there on the floor beside Beau with me, answered all of my questions, explained every medication to me, and made me feel right at ease. My boyfriend and I both were VERY pleased all around. The pricing was also standard for an animal hospital (and was actually a LOT cheaper than what I was used to at an establishment in Cary, NC before I moved). I'm pleased here. All of this to say, I am SO happy I established here. I know that they will take care of Beau (and my nerves) on every visit. It means the WORLD as a pet parent knowing that you're taking them to a place who loves them as much as you do! Highly recommend!!

Christie is a well educated woman possessing an ability to improve health and quality of life by offering Reiki  energy and restoring balance. She educated me a little to the world of Reiki. She did a session for my dog, Tinky, and myself. She explained what she would do, we would possibly feel and experience. My dog gravitated to her and was very peaceful during her session. I could tell Tinky was getting something out of this besides attention and another belly rub. Chrisite physically detected problems in me in three areas, upper abdomen/chest, right knee and right shoulder which she found required more healing time. She was 100% correct. A day later I did noticed the stiffness and soreness in my shoulder was gone. I had occasional minor discomfort in my knee and noticed that was diminished. During the session I felt heat emanating from her hand as well as a sensation coming from within the area she worked on which ceased once she removed her hand. Tinky appears to be doing well but she does have a torn acl in her left hind leg so we have to expect some continued problems there. She also has a partially collapsed trachea and over past few days it appears to have improved. I sent photos of Tinky so Christie could do a remote session before hand. I'm looking forward to more sessions with Christie, That Reiki Girl Tinky wants to see her again too. Healing takes time but Reiki can aid your own immune system to be balanced and do it's job. If you are in need of a fresh clean pet this is an ideal location. They offer two options either…read morestaff grooming or self grooming. The self grooming is really reasonable. The room is large enough for any size dog. I was able to wash a 150lbs foster "pup" with ease. There is a large raised bathing area to avoid "killing" your back. You don't have to worry about trying to lift your pooch as there is a ramp for access. They provide all the needed bathing essentials, from towels, a waterproof apron, and various natural soaps, shampoos, and conditioners, and towels. If your dog isn't afraid of loud noises there is also a blow dryer available to assist with drying your dog. Once you finish your can treat your freshly cleaned friend to a large variety of treats. All the treats are organic and reasonably priced.
