What tops this whole fiasco is that the box of chips they sell or even give away (to make up for the stupidity they have going on there) have been expired for 1 year!!! Legal crooks! This auction is ran by auction gangsters! The most corrupt and dishonest auction company in California (Check reviews). I have never been to an auction where they re-post the same items 10-15+ times because they didn't get the money they want. They will re-post it for the next four months or longer. A few items I have won here and because it didn't sell for how much they wanted it to, they said I was out bided, but the item was up the next week. Shady! If this auction gets any positive feedback from anyone, I guarantee, it's a family member, friend, or a worker. Items are not described as the picture, and if you complain about it, you will not win. The people that work for this auction, also bid on items to hike up the prices. To confirm what several others are saying here. After two auctions where my max bid was outbid (lost auction), and suddenly I'm the winning bid at my max bid and watching the same bidder go across multiple items in the auction outbidding everyone at the last minute. This time, I won an item (outbid on two others) and after picking up my item, returned home to find another invoice had been generated on an item I was significantly outbid on, and mysteriously it's at my max bid amount 24 hours later. Definitely seems to be bid manipulation going on from someone associated with this company. I'm going to dispute the charge and not use them again. There are auction companies who explicitly state they have a reserve price (the right way to do it) but bidding up anonymously to rig the bidding to go to max bids of honest bidders is not the same. Ethically it's dubious, and probably criminal. Hibid who has the history on all bidding (and unanonymous bidder info) could see this clearly, but they state in their rules that they will not get involved. I was a buyer a few years ago and saw the auction online again, So I decided to purchase a few items, Read the small print before bidding it clearly states the clauses except a few are contradicting, All in all you can go view before bidding! I used to go to this auction place every week for a year and then started bidding online when they stopped the live auction. Don't bother wasting your money here. They now just sell a lot of junk that yes you can test to see if they turn on but does it really work? Nope. Some of the items are discontinued by the manufacturer for a reason. They have great deals at times but most of the time their stuff is broken. Yes Bree and the guys are great and helpful and the fact that they are friendly and know who you are puts a great touch in customer service. But the owners themselves could careless who you are and never have a smile on. I don't know what they'd do without these guys. I've run into issues where the item they auctioned doesn't have the right piece attached or they can't find the item. They promise to look but obviously they lost or sold it to another customer already. Then there goes additional donation to the owner. This even happens when immediately after a live auction or if you pick it up the next day. Look I've spent $4000 here. Built some good relationships but now they've changed the policies and will resell your items if you don't pick it up. If this has happened to you, please PM me. I've lost 7 invoices with several items on them. The new guy John or Josh is like we don't do that anymore. You have to pick it up within 7 days or we resell it. They never notified us of the change of policy after being their customer for 3 years. And say la vie to all the credit that was never applied for items missing, damaged (not labeled on the website) and etc. Sad to say but I hope they get their procedures together. You get what you pay for, right? Well, this place sells full-on broken or defective items. Guaranteed untested at the warehouse. I would recommend avoiding any appliances and anything that needs to be plugged in. Chances are that it won't work. When picking up your items from the warehouse, be sure to have at least 2 hours of your day to waste there bc they're extremely disorganized and understaffed. If you bought 10 items, you're going to be waiting forever for them to find those 10 items and they'll only find 7. Also, OPEN THE BOX to make sure the item you bought actually IS the item you bought. I got an espresso machine only to get it home, open the box, and found a broken old coffee maker that someone returned to Amazon. The auction refunded the purchase but it was just another hassle I didn't need. Lesson learned. All in all I would avoid this place. read more

This place is GARBAGE! The issue is the 2 guys in the office (Skinny kid and guy in mid 30's) that think they're hot "crap" mooching off their family's business. They pull into the parking lot 45 minutes late after the business is supposed to be open already with customers standing outside. They can really care less. The items posted in the auction don't have accurate and detailed descriptions. Example: A picture of a mattress topper. Their description: "Mattress topper". No size, no details! Can these guys be more lazy and careless?!?! Not only that, EVERY SINGLE TIME my husband and I go and pick up items we've won, the line takes at least 2 hours. The worst experience in Customer Service I spent a few hours biding for 5 products I drove 40 minutes to pick them up When I got to the warehouse there was 3 customers ahead of me So I thought it's going to be a quick transaction for my surprised I waited over three hours and two of the items I won on an action they were not available ( they couldn't find them ) is really REALLY CRAZY how someone can run a business so poorly when you go and pick up your items they have no idea where the items are located in the warehouse so the poor warehouse workers are just walking around looking for the items to see if they are lucky to find it. there is no organization whatsoever some people just come in and start looking around to find their items and others like me we just waited online to be helped I asked to another person if was always like that she said was her second time there and the first time was the same so if you buy anything from this place be sure you may have to drive there wait for a few hour to get nothing, there is 2 warehouse workers looking for items that might take a few hours to find due the lack of organization and I saw 3 office employees just walking around like they are lost and if for any case something go wrong they will blame it on you If you ask about the product they said they don't know anything about it they don't list the products also the office employees are not wearing any masks while helping Customers !!!!!!!!save yourself time and headache Unless if saving $20 for you is worth five hours of your day. read more

This is a very shady business. I don't like giving bad reviews because I get good deals here sometimes and that's the only reason for a 2 star. Everything they do is shady it doesn't take a genius to figure out this auction I'll try to name everything I can remember right here main problems first. - Insider bidding you can clearly tell they are the ones bidding you up in these online auctions - You will win items that the auction itself outbid you on all the time so be cautious if you are on a tight budget. If I got outbid by a actual person it would go to them you can tell that the auction is upping the bid on you by how frequently this happens. - The descriptions are either super vague or down right deceptive sometimes I think they change the description after you bid. You have to click on the item to see if there is anything wrong when they could make it clear through the main photo or title but use a stock image instead. - Some of the items just shouldn't be sold because they are so faulty that they no longer have any real use I've been ripped off several times. For any profit I make off of my purchases here they rip me off on a couple items that I can't sell because they are junk. You really need to be careful at this auction because they will rip you off without remorse if given the chance. - When you go to pick up your items customer service is basically non existent. They rather focus on whatever they are doing even if it's not working. - They will fight you on refunds even if the item clearly is no good. - It always takes them over a hour to get your things and that's if they find all of them. They don't hurry either. Then if they don't find something you have to wait for a refund which is another slow process for them. -Speaking of "Not finding items" I think they use that as a excuse to not sell items to you that you won too cheap . - One day the lady at the counter told me she was going to send me my refund and never did. - SOMETIMES THEY SELL YOU THE ITEM FOR MORE THEN THE MAX BID YOU PUT WHICH IS UNACCEPTABLE! It's one of the situations where how can you prove they did it. I know how much I bid on these items that's blatantly stealing from people in my eyes. - If you win a item for under your max bid when you get the invoice it will always be your max bid they don't even follow their own auction rules. They are so dishonest it's unbelievable. Look just be transparent and set minimum bids. Make flaws with items more transparent and in the buyers face on the main listing page rather then something you have to click on through several items. Work on better customer service in general. Maybe have the items ready to go for the customer when they get there already separated. The whole operation is a mess and I'm surprised at how long they have lasted. This is a shady dishonest auction house that engages in shill bidding. They have access to the bidder's "max bid" threshold information and they use a shill bidder to max out your maximum bid amount.!if you watch closely at the items you're winning... at the last few seconds you will see that the bid amount will suddenly hit your max bid then it will say you were outbid but miraculously when you receive the invoice from Prime, it includes the item. Then a few days later when the auction closed I received notification I was the winning bidder (with the bids I supposedly had been outbid on). I now see several other reviews stating the same ripoff technique. The owners (or employees) bid up all the items,(which is illegal),hoping to get you to raise your bid. If you do not outbid them and lose, SURPRISE, you get charged for your max bid. I reported to the Better Business Bureau (https://www.bbb.org/). They contacted "Prime Public Auction" but received no reply. They are not in the BBB, and now I see why. I am attempting a "chargeback" through my credit card company (https://www.discover.com/) I will now report to "Federal Trade Commission" (https://www.ftc.gov/), so they will investigate.
