The staff was very unaccommodating in my move. I requested to bring in a storage pod for TWO HOURS while I pack it up and get it moved across country. The pod only takes up one parking space, so it's the same size as a small compact car, and I'm unable to bring in the pod. I'm also unable to even keep it outside the parking lot, which is even more ridiculous. I can understand if it would be overnight, but it's literally for two hours and would be picked up immediately. I'm coming in from out of state and have no where to keep the pod, otherwise I'd bring it to my house. It's 2022 guys, it's time to be accommodating especially in today's climate. read more

This company scams people out of their belongings and insurance is definitely fake. They word it to make it seem they have a legitimate 3rd party underwriter securing your property, it when yo file a claim you find out it's just them. We have had our locker unit broken into. And let me just say that was just the beginning. When we arrived to assess the missing items, we were asked if we planned to file a claim. As soon as I said yes, they told us that we would need to move out due to violation of the rental agreement. I asked what did we violate and they said we were living in the storage unit. All because there was a table and two chairs set up. And all because we used the chairs and table to set things on top since we used the unit weekly with duffle bags and camera bags. The size of the unit would have made it impossible for anyone to live there. And besides. They have cameras and my keyed entry log info. And yet, they denied the claim. Nobody ever got back to me. They simply waited till I reached out countless times and finally told me the claim was denied. I am writing this review today because a friend just now also had their unit broken into. The day they broke into our unit, they also broke into many others. They were walking around inspecting other units and I could see the frantic look on their faces. I believe they are either grossly negligent in their security measures, or they are in on it. How is it they have such vulnerabilities, and this keeps happening to them. When I filed the police report, I asked them the time and date they broke in. They said between Saturday and Tuesday morning. I could not believe it, because a place that should have security measures in place should definitely know the exact time and date someone breached their perimeter. Unless of course. They lack the proper security measures, they are grossly negligent or they are in on it. I moved to a much more secure place. Many levels of security and many cameras everywhere you turn. My advice?? Stay far far away from these people. That's if you care about the property you are willing to place in their care. Or lack there of. read more

As a businessman, I've always tried to be fair in my analysis of any situation and give credit where credit is due. With that said, STAY AWAY FROM THIS BUSINESS. The only thing positive that I can say about this business is the manager, Melena. She is hard working, honest and has the customer's needs in mind. To the point. After securing two units (Which by the way, at the time, you didn't actually speak to anyone from Prime Storage. An aggressive third-party phone service took their calls along with your credit card data and they reserved the unit for you. They have since revamped their call-ins to an automated message system that allows you to make payments or leave a message) from Prime Storage at twice the price we formally paid in Tucson for the same size units, I discovered that Prime Storage's units were indeed not the same size. They advertised 10'x20' & 10'x15' which, after discovering that our items from the 10x15 unit from a Tucson storage unit did not fit in Prime Storages "10x15" unit, I took out my tape measure and discovered that the unit was in fact only 9'x14', so I measure the "10x20" unit only to discovered that it was in fact 9'x19'. I took my concerns to the Manager and told her that it wasn't about the money but that I'd like to see this company inform the public about the actual sizes of units that they were renting or going to rent so as not to be perceived as perpetrating fraud. She forwarded this to her boss. His answer was to give me a discount for a couple of months. But nothing was done to inform the public about the actual size of their units. Then their true colors came out. When I mentioned that I was considering going on social media to get the word out about the size discrepancy, suddenly, there was a mix up in my Auto-Pay billing to the point that I was threatened via an email of being locked out and my effects being sold off. They added a huge late fee for 7 days. (Keeping in mind that it was impossible to be late due to the Auto-Pay arrangement) So I went down and settled the bill in person and told the manager that I would be looking to move to another storage facility in the near future. Now, they've have increased the rent by almost 10%. Call it retribution, call what you wish. As a businessman who serves the public, I call it "POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE" plain and simple.
