It's not only hot, but humid...so it often feels hotter in there than outside, especially on the 2nd floor, where rent is cheaper. Lol Working lights have also been an issue...burned out and/or just not on when I arrive. To the point where I can't even see inside my unit. I've had to call the office more than once...but to their credit, they got them on quickly. The woman in the office (the manager I assume...she's always been there when I go in the office) may initially come off to some as irritated, but I learned that she's just one of those people who only smiles when "earned"...Lol. She's got a dry wit & is actually really quite nice. I stay because their prices seem to be better than others, & because I don't want to move everything!!!

Doors were not dented. Our door went up easily. The facility was quite. RV, boat and car parking is available. They also sell moving boxes and packing supplies. Free truck rental is available with the initial move in of a space.

On several occasions, Greg Douglas has made inappropriate sexual comments and advances towards me, which made me feel uncomfortable and unsafe. I repeatedly asked Greg to stop making these comments and advances, but he persisted. My last interaction with your manager he gave me an ultimatum to either find a new storage facility or have sex with him also letting me know that the wife said it's OK. He then gave me 2 days to clear out my belongings in which i was informed i could not bring anyone with me onto the property to help. On my last day at 5 pm Greg then began texting me saying he was locking the gates and I had no way out. Why he would say this I have no idea other than some jealous rage from me leaving and turning him down once again. I've been a customer at Cactus Self Storage for 5 years, longer than your management team and I'm completely disgusted with this kind of behavior.

My vehicles have been robbed even a large amount of cash from one which was left there overnight because they had cameras but apperantly was not working that night. Another one of my vehicles titles was transfered into an employee's name who was later arrested for fraud but is still staying there in the main house and I just had to file another police report because a new employee of there has managed to get a list of myguns with serial numbers and was overheard on a phone call selling the information. I have had about 5 units over the last 8 years or so and this has always be a very secure site…read more The manager (John) makes sure the units are secure and he is often there even at night making sure the place is looked after. I would recommend this location if you are in Surprise as it has easy access. I would have given a 5 star review but they changed the hours to close at 7:00 now instead of 9:00 pm which makes it hard for me to get in before they close. The rates have gone up, but all storage places do that. I like the units with doors on both ends for access to both sides of the unit.
